Interesting game. I liked how you used the grow theme to make the platform increase. The text in the menu was slightly hard to read with the various font choices.
I'm not sure what made my laser go from yellow to red, or if it was a glitch or feature that I was floating in the air for a bit while playing.

Those are powerups :D
- Red is rage for more damage
- Yellow is GoddessMode which is that flying part
- Green is health (which u get a lot so don't worry about health :P)
The graphics style in this game is good, I like the alien theme of it all, when it comes to the theme it looks like you're using both of the themes and they work well in tandemn.
The controls were simple enough, and it had a good core mechanic with trying to stay on the flower while shooting.
The game was not very clear on when you got a powerup, so I wasn't sure what was going on there.
The audio was fine, although it was frustrating that the song would start over when you die, not a fan of that, also there is an audio bug that if you die while shooting your laser, you still hear the laser sound.
Mood of the game was average, you're on alien plant growing while fighting aliens, not much to that.
Not very innovative, fairly basic gameplay with the twist of your gun pushing you off the flower, maybe if the game played even more on the concept of that it would be more innovative, I don't know. :D
The menu looked okay, however, in the How to Play menu you're using serif text, and small serif text at that. Not a fan of that, it's a bad design decision as it is really straining for the eye and just not pleasant to look at.
Overall, good entry, I had a good time trying it out, and thank you for the experience!
Hope to see more of your games in the future :)

Fun game, I managed to get to 2300. I love the art style of the flower, and clever use of kickback of the gun as a platformer mechanic.
The font in the menu was a bit hard to read when the text was really small. And on gameover the sound of the lazer stuck and looped forever. overall a neat game :)
Funny little game.
I like the art style of your game, but it seemed like there might be a few glitches, or I just didn't know I was doing something wrong. My little man kept floating off the flower and then eventually just biting the dust by being flung off...but nothing hit me. It fits the theme, though, and the music is great!

The game was good, ended up playing longer than I thought
- The cursive font is really hard to read
- I didn't know what to do with powerups

Really fun and interesting game. Congratulations. Nice music too. My favorite power up is goddes mode :D highscore was 7.1k :) Good Job
The font in the menu was very hard to read and hence I couldn't understand the how to play screen. The idea was cool. Nice job on submitting a game!
great graphic and mechanics!

Neat little game. I felt like the cannon was kind of useless in comparison to the laser though.

This is a curious mix.
I love the flower and character graphics--they do an amazing job on selling me on the whole riding-a-giant-rising-flower thing (especially with the motion of the flower relative to the camera)--but the generic Unity UI bits are so jarring and awkward that it took me a while before I noticed the eye-candy on show.
The mechanics are also pretty neat in the way they make you reconsider timing shots and cycle between states (though, like others, I definitely mistook the yellow-mode for a glitch at first); some additional feedback (particle effects, animation/visual announcement when you collect a powerup) would go a long way in making them feel meatier.
It'd be a nice touch if the character started walking back to the center if you stopped firing for a while.
