Fundamentally broken as far as the gameplay... yet still addicted to it for the short time... but I love economic games.

Buying low, and then selling high to the same trader is a good route... but whats better is just finding the highest trader for rare items then circle around it until you get a person to trade with... boom instant cash.

Would have liked it better if they didn't always do that action... like if you said trade and they attacked you instead.

I love trading game. Good job for a LD. I wish there were controls for azerty keyboards. I wish I could see my inventory *while* trading. With more work it could become a nice game

I is neat that you choose an economic game :D

It is nice to see a trading game here.

Those mountains are stuffed to the gills with dwarves, and my lack of gold matched by ability to escape them.
Also the graphics and music in this game are pretty good.

make all those trades!

By far my favourite game so far, actually wished there were more levels, only negative point, just needs some tweaking to stop exploiting selling to the person you bought from straight away :)

This game is a lot of fun. I especially like the character designs and the big levels. There are a whole lot of items, which is really cool, but sometimes it felt like it was impossible to find anyone buying what you had. After the first few levels I was just buying rare items since you can always get a good return on them.

Also, the text in the menus is very hard to read against that light background.

Audio was nice, but that's as far as I got. I think the button colliders weren't synced properly as I couldn't buy/sell anything :(

A great take, would have never thought to be an economic monster. How dare you swindle those poor traders?!

My only criticism is that its possible to buy from a trader and sell directly back to him at a higher price. Besides that, I enjoyed the game immensely!

Oh, I finished the game!

I found it easy to trade when the other party is selling low and buying high. B-)

I like the graphics, although I was thrown off by how washed out it all seemed at first. The colors blend in together too much, and it took me a few seconds to recognize I was the dragon among the trees.

The music was very bard-like, but the sound effects were very loud in comparison.

I rarely had to resort to fighting, and so for a long time I didn't know what health was for. If occasionally you get attacked by bandits (and then had a way to heal back up), it might make it feel like health is more integrated.

As it is, I only lost health if I attacked or tried to flee, and since trading seems to always be safe, I might as well trade.

Good work!

I like this but there was to many items to keep track of. Maybe there should only be a few in the beginning and more added as you progress. The easy way is to only buy and sell to a trader that buys his own goods for a higher price.

Really interesting trading mechanic with a lot of characters and items. There are two things that could really be improved on here: the graphics, and the amount of "character" each person you traded with had. Add some more dialogue, some more character pictures, and touch up the existing ones (and perhaps make trading a little easier to manage, I think Windward pulled it off well, so something based on that could probably work) and this could be something really neat.
As it currently stands, the music gives the game a pretty relaxing atmosphere and travelling around to trade is pretty fun.
