So... ducks...
Definitely fits the theme! The scenery graphs and music needs some improvements. I like the style. The weapon is hilarious! Needs a "gameover" screen. Good job!
Missed the Squeak! sword the first time. Second time was easier as a result. Liked the background music a lot.
Controls could have been implemented better, needs quacking sounds.
Thanks everyone! I also just dropped a new build with some bug fixes. Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming =)
Those of you who have played it already, there is a boss fight that you actually can do now =)
Seems alright, but I ran into a game-crashing bug whilst moving into a room. Also, why'd you need an installer?
Duckies! That is quite the unconventional weapon! I like the quacking noises. :)
@killthealias Any idea which room? I apologize for the installer, I just used the GM:Studio packager to do this. Next time I can just provide the game files.
@srakowski Thanks! They were made from my dog's squeaky toy.
Gah, I just realized I caused more issues with that previous build.. it's now fixed.
Hilarious!
When you "Create an Executable for Target" for Windows in GM:S, at the bottom of the save dialog window there's a drop-down where you can pick installer (the awful default), stand-alone exe, or a zip. It's not at all obvious and easy to forget to do.
Good music and sound effects, ducks wielding ducks! Was fun to play.
@A Flat Miner Studios Thanks! I never even noticed that before!
This was fun - nice difficulty curve.
Quite entertaining indeed. You did an excellent job with the curve of difficulty, except maybe the boss was too easy. The controls were nice and responsive, so it felt really good to play. The fact that every character in the game is a rubber duck and the final boss is a zombie, only makes it better.
It reminds a lot of The Legend of Zelda games! Well done!
