Awesome game. GG grpahics. Add some levels in the future.
The animation was cute. Nice artwork too!
Can't run. Opens a Google drive with a "preview not available" error.
Great positive message
Liked:
- The message of the game
- The puzzle aspects of the game
Disliked:
- The bugs. Which are numerous:
- - - - Able to fall off stage edge
- - - - Able to fall through the stage where blocks connect
- - - - Diagonal floor pieces continuously flashing
- - - - Unable to stand on the platform with the green button (I even tried dropping down from the top, was still unable to land on it. I think all these bugs maybe stem from some sort of problem with the sprite hitboxes)
- No way to know if game was complete (I made it to the door, and tried to go through. I was unable to find out how)
Overall, while I think the idea has potential, it needs a lot of polish before becoming something playable. Iron out the bugs first of all, and then add little things like losing/winning screens, maybe a score counter, a few more enemies... then it would be much improved I'm sure.
(just sayin: the web link is not a web link.)
interesting concept, but very flawed execution. the 'puzzles' were pretty bland, but not bad. the movements were glitchy and unpredictable, gave up after falling through the world for the 5th time. the art was alright
WOW! Awesome! :D Nice graphics too!
The movement was extremely buggy and I was unable to get beyond the first little portion after 5 minutes and several restarts.
Very difficult to play, but a fun concept. Would have cleaned up the gameplay a bit more, so it did not feel more as if I was fighting against the bugs than the game design.
Well, you've got the *start* of something here. The characters are cute, and the gameplay is reasonable. Some problems, though...First, you should figure out how to post an .swf somewhere so people don't have to download and run it directly--in other words, make it an ACTUAL "Web" link. Second, some restart button or something when one of the characters dies, so you can restart the game without having to reload the tab. Next, maybe walls on the sides so the player doesn't accidentally fall out of the level? And finally, I couldn't finish the level because apparently the light bulb can't touch that...flashing...whatever it is, on the right, and the droplet needs to hit the green button, but you CANNOT make the jump to get the button. In other words, you should make sure your game is actually playable before posting it.
But since you posted a playable game this time, you won't have any excuse to not participate in future LDs. ;)
Pretty nice. I like the aesthetic - Reminds me of the Incredible Machine and those old CD-ROM games.
I think this would work better if the light bulb had some ability to help the drop.
