Mate,mate,mate.. good work x).. why ? Its simple and original. First person in 2D xD.. i like that idea :) also check my project if you have some time x)

flwns 2014-12-09 16:09

I liked the atmosphere in the room, and the graphics of the game. but was disappointed by the lack of sound and the broken controls of the snowman game; you can just press space to jump in the air forever. I liked it though, keep at it.

aflatminerstudios 2014-12-09 16:12

Impressive that you made this entirely as an army-of-one, great job! The collision box for the saw seemed a little big, I had to slide early. Of course...I could just be bad at it! yay snowman!☃

sk16games 2014-12-10 06:43

Thanks for playing my game people! @domicuc awesome you liked it :D @flwns thanks a lot for the feedback, i had actually just turned the "check if grounded" thing off for testing and forgot to turn it back on :/ @A Flat Miner thank you ;)

I'll make a little fixes update today so stay tuned for that! It'll probably be out around 16 European time (GMT+1)

rameshkannan 2014-12-11 15:57

Yeah some what
well

taro 2014-12-11 21:53

Oh nooz, not the evil snowman!
Heh, funny Bit.Trip inspiration you got there. Didn't expect the end credits, though.

br_uno 2014-12-11 21:57

haha nice end :)

hotboxgames 2014-12-11 21:59

Neat little game! I like the concept of being a player playing a game on another screen :D

Would have been a bit easier/cooler if the player position locked (perhaps if he sat down?)

Good job! :)

urbanlogicgames 2014-12-11 22:06

It's a cool idea, I kept getting stuck under that second spinning blade, though! Liked the artwork. Would probably make a cool VR game too.

klianc09 2014-12-11 22:15

Whoa, that intense ending, really great use of the setting. Certainly broke that 4th wall.
Some sound effects would have been great tough.

adventureislands 2014-12-11 22:37

haha, that was pretty fun. Interesting mix of 2D game in 3D settings. And that ending was hilarious.

murdersantateam 2014-12-11 22:50

awesome game idea.
and it fits the LD31 theme :D
thumbs up !

mekuri 2014-12-11 23:22

haha, you actually managed to give me a little scare at the end, even though I kind of expected it! Good job!

sk16games 2014-12-12 11:30

Thanks everyone for playing my game, awesome to hear people liked it! I'll check out your games too ;)

donovanwu 2014-12-13 02:39

Really innovative take on the theme!

shide 2014-12-13 14:16

Developing of the theme is brilliant, but it would be cool to have something to do in a 3D world too, like unplugging your PC or reading notes. Check out our game, we've finally fixed the link

huntthewumpus 2014-12-13 15:28

Fun way to deal with the theme :) And now I've read that there is a surprise ending - let's play again.

Haha :D now I'm afraid to turn around in real live..

swinestudios 2014-12-13 22:08

Dang, props to the ending there. It was a good "jumpscare" in a sense since you're all alone inside a dark, mostly-empty room.

sk16games 2014-12-14 00:51

Thanks again, glad I could scare you a bit! @Shide in my original idea, there was more stuff in the 3D world, but didn't have time... Did you play until the end though?

zi 2014-12-14 02:00

Bahahahahaha that was great! I love that the player is for some reason sealed shut in a doorless, windowless, dark room with nothing to do but to play a game in the corner, LOL!

zi 2014-12-14 02:05

Still haven't gotten to the ending... Must see this "jump scare" people are talking about!

sk16games 2014-12-15 20:03

Weird, it just reposted a comment from earlier... :/ fail...

mrshoestore 2014-12-15 22:22

no audio? nice game within a game, but the scoring seemed to keep adding up even if you died. can't wait for the oculus rift support :P

brainstorm 2014-12-21 12:48

Innovation 5/5: A game in what you emulate a nostalgic nerd? Wow!!!

Fun 4/5: Pretty funny, but it have some glitches.

Theme: Best use of theme I've seen!!!

Graphics 5/5: Great 3d models and great retro graphics too!!!

Audio n/a: It doesn't have audio...

Humor 5/5: I only can say one thing... LOL.

Mood 4/5: Some ambiental sounds would help...

Overall 5/5: Great game!!!

chaoseed 2014-12-21 13:38

It was pretty good. Making a game on a 2D screen in a 3D world isn't a simple feat, so good job. ;) However, I felt like the snowman game needed some work. Like, I could just hold Shift continually to slide along permanently. Also, whenever I got to a flag, which I THINK is an end of a level, it said my character had "died"...It made me think there was something wrong with the game. Amusing 'twist' at the end, though. ;)

sk16games 2014-12-22 17:34

@MrShoestore the score adding up was on purpose ;) @brainstom Wow thank you, didn't know my game was that good :) @Chaoseed I agree the snowman game could have been better, but it was my first 2D game made in Unity ;)

jjevil 2014-12-26 13:56

An endless runner with a clever twist.
