Good idea. Nice breaking of the fourth wall.

Nice game. But the mouse move feels a bit slow. really like the idea.

Epic!

Nice music and voice overs :)

The charging of the bow takes a bit long I think, and the mouse moves a bit slow.

But really well done overall!

When you say the mouse moves a bit slow, do you mean the in-game computer mouse, or the overall sensitivity? (Can the next person with that issue clarify for me) :)
And thanks for all the feedback guys. :D

Very good idea. Carefully done! Unfortunately I'm stuck in jump here http://gyazo.com/574c802702c979bfeb58dffb9f3a7bdd

I think the person who mentioned the bow thought you had to fully charge it before shooting, because I did that at first before realising it wasn't necessary each time. Play Skyrim. Oh, and well done on the game. Keep up the Unity work. :)

Yeah, I really liked how you used diff player perspectives. Very creative!

kumoi 2014-12-10 05:38

Interesting. I somehow managed to clip through the wall though and ended up falling forever.

imer 2014-12-10 05:48

In addition aiming the bow is a little awkward too, you get used to it.
Really woudl've liked the bow mechanic of minecraft (no extra click to reload - hold -> charge, release -> fire, hold again -> charge)
Other than that a pretty neat idea
Another tiny issue: the mouse doesnt get captured again once you tab out (web)

Awesome and unique concept ! Nic music, great game overall!^^

This was quite fun. :) I enjoyed the different levels of play, and having a final boss battle with trap avoidance mechanics was challenging and interesting.

If anything, I would suggest improving the handling of the bow. Sound effects, a reticule, or even a "pull/draw" meter -- something to show that you are using the bow, and something to show where you're aiming the bow.

For the time allocated, though, this was a real decent playthrough! :) I got to the end with a smile. Good job!

So nice, at first i thought:"lol ..... theme breaking!", but what a twist..... very fun idea to move from 3D world to 2D screen.

# there is a bug when the red guy says "There is deamon, i saw him jump down there..." it is possible to jump over the gap, and get stucked in a blue screen :) BSOD lol

Pretty accurate tester simulator, if you ask me. Good job!

Really cool idea. Moving the mouse on the in-game computer can be troublesome when my own mouse extends past the edges of the game window. Also the bow and arrow could use a crosshair to help with aiming.

joe40001 2014-12-14 12:46

Very neat, the default senstitivity should probably be higher, but I'm glad I could change it.

lycrashampoo 2014-12-18 02:18

This was a cool idea and I wanted to play all the way through, to see what happened, but I gave up several tries into the fire boss fight, because I couldn't tell which squares were going to kill me in advance, and I never got him down lower than four hearts.

The bow shooting felt a bit off, maybe because the arrow was 2D? I felt like I needed to shoot to the right of what I wanted to hit. Also, the jump physics in the 2D bit with the spikes felt clunky and made it difficult to maneuver.

I did enjoy the concept a lot, though, and the transition from playing the game on a screen to being inside of it was REALLY cool. Also the audio was great, especially the pumping techno music and the resigned tone of the guy with the bow who realizes you are the protagonist, not him.

Nice! I had similar idea, but consider it too dificult.
Well done!
