Great atmosphere - I like the feel of stumbling around in a dark room and discovering things. The floor tile highlighting effect works well. I feel like the scrollbar detracted a little .. that said, I'm not sure about the best alternative approach (eg, one common approach would be to have the text appear under the collectible on the background & stay put, but then you couldn't read back over the whole thing).

Thank you for your positive reply, actually I thought that I ruined the atomosphere completely. I'm glad that someone tells me otherwise.
I completely agree on the scrollbar, it has been bothering me the whole time, but for whatever reason unity doesn't support scrollboxes with their scrollbar on the left side... I've read about a workaround, but I couldn't get it to work.
Then I thought about placing the whole text thing on the right, but that was even worse (since you move to the right most of the time).

good atmosphere!

Very inspiring Dude 8

Pretty deep, nice take on the theme. The darkness was pretty cool too, For the text, I think you could have got away with just showing 3 at a time, and then clearing the area and showing another 3 (instead of the scroll bar). But meh, in 48 hours it's still pretty sweet!

I really liked the mechanism, telling the story that way. This could've been a lot better, if suppose, the player was given some more freedom to move around levels, not be that linear. The scroll bar kept resetting after each E, so had to scroll down every time. But it was a good attempt, played through till the end.

I liked it! It's a different twist on the theme than I've seen in other entries.

An atmospheric ride, nice to see something a bit different.

Loved the lighting of the tiles (may have to borrow that :) ) deep and dark and pretty cool

Nice concept, with some more gameplay/puzzle elements, this could be something special! Congrats!

kunonooni 2014-04-29 23:53

Simple, elegant and yes a little too linear but it is a nice take on the theme and I really liked the message. Good Job!

Nice game! I enjoyed the dark and minimalist visual style and the texts. It would have been really cool if, like in "stage" 2, the texts would more often appear in non-linear order, making you guess what's next or just messing with your brain. :)
PS: Thank you for the nice long comment for my game. I wrote an answer in my games comments section, if you're interested.

Nice little story, I like the way the game tells it. Although the graphics and physics are a bit buggy, it does the job really well. It's great for what it is.

This game is little bit strange
