Is this game compiled in x64 by any chance? I'm running Windows 7 32-bit, but upon running 'run me.exe' I get: 'This version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running.'

For your first game ever, it's decent. There was no starting cue for the game, so I quickly lost at the beginning thinking it was the intro to a menu or something. If you spent more time on this entry it could have been a lot better.
@FrozenCow: Yes I forgot I had 64-bit python, added a 32-bit version.
@Robmaister: Yes the game begins immediately I couldn't figure out a way to do different "view"/"scens" at first but I know how to do it now. If I had more time I would have done that.
I was going to complain that it is too short, but seeing as it took you only 10 hours and it is your first game, I won't :-)
I hope next LD you can use the whole competition to make your entry; It will turn out OK, I am sure!

Gratz on completing the LD! You might want to look into adding an intro screen, so that I don't have to restart the process when I win/die. Also, why is the astronaut not centred on the platform?
It was short and easy to play.
