Haha, this was actually funny. BAM refrigerator to the head! It was a bit too difficult though, got tired of trying at area 3. The collision was a buggy, you can jump inside the wall. Did you use double buffering? I saw some flickering on the middle of the screen.

cool idea, had fun! But really hard :-)

love it! genius.

Sound was weak, but better than silence!
Some sort of leap or roll could add an interesting element.

Good fun, but it gets a bit too reliant on chance at the fourth area. It took about twenty tries to get the right "refrigerator topography" to cross over the first uphill gap, then while going down into the next valley a bouncing fridge flies in from the slope behind me at two or three times the falling speed delivers the killing blow to the back of my head.
Didn't matter had fun

LOL!

LOL!

The game is deliciously challenging and insane.... I couldn't stop laughing while playing it. Whatever you had when you made this, please send me some!

Ah, there is a strange bug where sometimes the main character will take some damage even if he is not remotely close to a refrigerator... just walking.

Thank you very much for all of the kind words!

@Doft: Yes, it's using double buffering. What OS are you on? Also, can you provide me with a reproducible case for jumping inside of a wall?

@Jacob: Good idea! It would be great to have a special move to quickly get out of the way of fridges.

@Kelly Thomas: You are, of course, quite right that the later levels are greatly based on luck, since fridges that are moving laterally don't show a warning shadow. I'll try to tweak the physics so that horizontal fridges do less damage.

@caranha: Earl Grey and sleep deprivation were the two key ingredients. As for the random damage, you might be noticing falling damage, which at present seems a little too sensitive.

Good idea, but it really relies too much on chance.

Funny game, but overall it was far too random. A little annoying just standing around waiting for a refigerator that will just happen to fall in a place where you can push it into position to use as a step. And occasionally there's not really enough of a noticable warning before you get turned into gooey paste by a refigerator. Pulling the camera back a bit, so to speak, might give the player a bit more awareness so they have more warning to dodge, but that might not be the best solution.

The falling damage is also far too sensitive.

@Cosr, @Shigor: Thanks for the criticisms. I agree that the game isn't quite in that "sweet spot" yet. Dying suddenly and unexpectedly isn't too fun -- it's nice to have a chance to evade or defend yourself.
