Installed from the link as suggested but it didn't work. Same error message about missing dll.

I get bored pretty quick but the first minutes were fun! I like the controls but never used the canon...it just multiplies asteroids, even if they're smaller, it doens't help much ^^

Yeah, I ran out of time and had to go to sleep when there was 3 hours left of Ludum Dare, after I submitted the game I thought about making the asteroids drop more junk, which would give the cannon a huge purpose but put you in danger (Thanks to the asteroids multiplying).
I also thought about making the upgraded ship regenerate the shield for free, because right now it's pretty much suicide.

Anyways, I might continue to work on this getting an external graphics artist and actually putting as much time as I'd like into it so I can add all these cool details.

not bad. i found it hard to shoot accurately but the movement controls were nice and that's a bit more important. being able to shoot with mouse while maintaining the wasd controls would be nice. the guys that shoot at you are brutal.

Has basically nothing to do with the theme, but it's quite a nice little game. I especially like the way the ship moves in a slightly unusual way (as far as I could tell). In terms of balancing it takes a bit too long to get interesting - at the start most of the time is spent waiting for stuff to appear so you can collect it. Good start to a game, but not much in its current state.

Windows 7. Hangs at command window :( Installed both Visual Studio Redists, as linked, but it had the same hanging issue. Unplayable :( :(

The first thing i hit was a rock, but that was my fault.
Upgrades are fine, first 2-3 days are boring as hell and shooting mechanics needs a rewrite.

Nice game.. You should add some more stuff for it... It gets a boring after some minutes....
