You should get Dropbox...
The game looked fun, but i wasnt really sure who or what i was, and that was even after reading the instructions. The game also killed my computer ruthlessly everytime i entered a battle.
The concept sounds interesting, but I can't get into it. I read the instructions, but I'm confused. Use the mouse and WASD? What for? What are the circles and lines?
Also, my computer can't quite keep up.
You should really explain more in the readme. The idea sounds quite interesting but it's damn hard to figure out.
And even then you're quite stumped.
Comp gets bogged down incredibly fast whenever too many sprites appear. This really impacted input speed too, so I'm never sure if it registered the "retreat" command or not, and I find I have already selected a second destination by clicking again.
Really intriguing idea, visual style isn't bad either. The most critical part of this is conveying what is happening to the player, which I feel is missing (this isn't just a readme issue). I imagine the size of the colored circles indicates the outcome of the battles, but it doesn't seem to be enough feedback.
Also, if you hadn't said they were islands in the description, I would hardly have known. It is more like communities interconnected by paved streets.
Confusion, exasperation, bored, quit.
This game was more confusin' than E.T. for the 2600! :) Eventually I figured out what was going on, but it's pretty slow on my machine and hard to understand how I'm making progress. Intriguing concept, though.
This was completely unplayable for me, and I think Unity itself was upset about the situation too, because my bullets went right through the guys (I think because they skipped over them given the 1fps movement). I tried dropping it to 640x480 at lowest quality and it was just as slow. Sounds like a really interesting idea, but I can't even get it to the point where I can be confused by it (but I was anyway) because it's just jerking all over the place.
I ran the game with FANTASTIC settings at 1080 without a single hiccup. The mouse sensitivity is CRAZY. I overshot so many times when trying to click around. And yes, you need some more explanation in order for us to totally grasp this idea more easily. When we have to rate 200 + games, it's hard to spend 10 minutes just learning how a game works. But hey, this was really innovative and has potential. Keep going!
It's really confusing, but well done.
