Oct 19 23:33:20 Ghost Train ♥ 1 Love the momentum element, I really love the feel of needing to time those corner turns to keep speed so the ghosts can't catch up, and there's some great creativity in the level layouts to set up cool jump timings and patterns. Very fun!
Oct 20 03:44:22 4h 11m It's a Pipe Dream ♥ 3 Solid mood, satisfying steam sounds sending tubes through time! I liked the touch of the letters having flair from their era, and appreciate all the work that went into the writing, some great return letters when you sent packaged to the wrong year. Great vibe!
Oct 20 03:57:02 12m 40s Repair Permission ♥ 1 Great mood here, audio and sfx really put together a great experience. I love the two displays, crisp graphics and satisfying to see the messages pour in. Love the contrast of the OLD and NEW terminal messages.
Oct 21 01:06:21 21h 09m Robot Workshop ♥ 2 Game looks great! Love seeing the robots get into the cage and I think it's a fun match for the theme. I experienced a bit of a Slim Shady jump scare haha. :)
Oct 21 01:13:34 7m 13s Retro Verity ♥ 2 Love the slice of life this captures! Very nostalgic feeling playing the old games, would have loved to see your take on some new games on the floppys. Nice job!
Oct 21 01:21:12 7m 38s G.O.D. ♥ 0 Love the aesthetic of test-tube terrarium civilization. Cool transition from the lab setting to the "game board". Definitely a bit complicated but love the ambition and it's got a lot of successes in there!
Oct 22 23:16:25 45h 55m My Rusty Giant ♥ 0 Great concept, loved running around underneath the feet of the rusty robot and keeping it's needs met. It builds a good feeling of a rush against time to get the materials needed to keep moving forward, though I felt there were not many resources to go around despite my best efforts to pick up everything I could see. With a few more mechanics or resources, and some pacing tweaks to keep the mech healthier, this could turn into something really fun. Great entry!
Oct 22 23:33:52 17m 27s Not Yet Developed ♥ 0 Awesome entry, lulls you into a rhythm with the methodical developing and the smacks you with some jump scares. Super spooky mood watching the photo images pop into view. I was certainly freaked out hearing the steps occasionally, and loved the mechanic of having to open the darkroom door after developing photos and wondering what will be outside. With more time I'd love to see this fleshed out into a mystery game with a distinct relationship between the horrors and the photos. Nice job!
Oct 26 21:18:33 93h 44m Space Jank ♥ 1 There's certainly something here to explore as a momentum-based space repair service bot. Boosting to my next job and seeing the stars fly by feels nice, would love to see a fully fleshed out version of this that had more intentional uses for the movement style. For now, I found spamming boost/stop to be the best way to fly, and rarely needed to use my movement to complete jobs. I saw a flash of something special trying to tether to and slow down a rapidly spinning ship, I think with some more time to refine the controls and create creative goals, this could be a lot of fun. Nice job!
Oct 26 21:47:39 29m 06s The Tester ♥ 0 Some cool ideas here, love the take on the "old tech" and the colorful visuals. I would love to see 10 more rooms to see what kind of creativity might emerge from the puzzles, love the portal-style room-based puzzle solving and would be excited to see how far you can push this one. At the moment I had a few frustrations not "getting" what the puzzle was supposed to be, and had to get saved by the comments. I like the concepts but feels it's missing the "it-factor" that great puzzle games have where the solutions feel like their own reward. I found the solutions and mechanics to be quite simple and the game was really just figuring out what the tools are doing. I enjoy the concept of the final puzzle now that I know what the idea there was from the hints, what would elevate this game is to find a way to reveal these answers through the gameplay before the technique is needed. Great game!
