Oct 20 17:26:31 I Was...? ♥ 3 ( NOTE : THIS POST CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE GAME ) Incredibly creepy and effective horror game with wonderful presentation in general to match. Kinda want to see y'all tackle a bigger horror game now lol. That sprite for the caretaker scared the frik out of me. Same applied when I first saw the game's cover image for the first time. Y'all have done a really good job at setting up a foreboding feeling of tension that never really relented until the absolute end of the game. Extremely good usage of jumpscares as well. I didn't really expect this to be a semi-point and click, but that definitely aided in the overall creepyness factor. On that note, what y'all did with that gun was vile lmao. Seeing it go missing made my heart skip a beat. Finding it again in the bedroom also elicited a pretty similar feeling. Finding the toiler cleaner was admittedly somewhat funny, but it is admittedly a sad reality of dementia that y'all's game really captured pretty well. I do have a few complaints though. It was a little hard to actually select some objects sometimes. Especially the phone. It felt like I had to be in a certain position to select it. ( Or maybe I'm mistaken and it wasn't selectable ? This was when the dialogue from the father came up ). I was also a tiny bit disappointed that there weren't more moments like the gun. I do get that constantly forgetting about the little things is definitely an unfortunate reality of dementia, and your game definitely managed to make it creepy as well, my issue is just that it happened a little too often to the same items like the broken bird and the red towels. It almost took away from the tension of the game when it became a little too noticable. All that said, I think my main issue is that I didn't really need to use the sticky notes all that much. Probably cus as I mentioned before, a lot of the changes that happened weren't really that hard to notice, but maybe that's just me. All in all, this game successfully managed to creep me the frik out. That final cutscene was also a little sad as well since you couldn't see their faces. Props to your sound designer as well. The gutteral sound that was playing after the bedroom scene had me shitting myself All in all, fantastic work from y'all as usual
Oct 20 20:43:51 3h 17m Danger Looms ♥ 1 ( SPOILERS FOR THE GAME ) Even though I'm not that into text based rpgs, your games definitely interest me quite a lot when I play them lol Right off the bat, the world building was great. Especially when you see the ramifications of the loom in general. I even got a few achievements like filing a bug report and the one about hoping they don't use a flame emoji. I also died due to being pushed to origin. I guess I pushed my luck a little too hard there lol. Going by the first sentence of the punch cards, I'm guessing we were going to destroy the loom through data poisoning ? Lol. Honestly, this game was pretty interesting and well written imo. I didn't manage to get 2 of the secrets, mostly because I'm honestly not sure where to look, but either way I can say that I definitely really liked this. Especially the graphical style. Kinda makes me want to make an rpg in general now lol. Great stuff
Oct 21 06:20:47 9h 36m Punched! ♥ 2 Really great presentation. Love how grimy and dirt everything felt. I played a few rounds and my highest score was 21. I felt like the game relied on randomness a little too much, but it was still fun for what it was going for. Trying to get all 4 hearts was definitely pretty tense but again, felt like the rng was a little too against me. ( Or maybe it's just a skill issue on my part lol ) None the less, very cool entry
Oct 21 09:49:41 3h 28m Manymancer ♥ 0 Tried a few times and managed to get to level 5. Very cool and cute game It took me a few tries to really understand the upgrade system. Also because it seemed like the same upgrades seemed to apply to every action ? I'm still not entirely sure since the upgrade screen didn't change when I moved the items around. None the less, I do like the options presented by the upgrades. Combining movement with a ranged attack definitely opened up my strategies more. Same with combining attacks to attack in multiple directions. I could definitely see myself replaying this more. I'm guessing there's more I didn't see, but I will say that I liked the enemy design of the green blob. Having it break into smaller blobs definitely made me rethink my plans. More-so to ensure that I didn't get surrounded. That said, I think the bread was kinda useless. The fact that it replenishes only a quarter of your health isn't an issue, but more-so because a single round of this game isn't really all that long so you probably won't make a full heal in time either way. All that said though, this is still a pretty high quality submission from you ( as always ). Great work on this overall
Oct 21 10:50:20 1h 00m Amiga 12000 ♥ 1 Took a few tries but I think I made it to the 4th system. Really cool deduction game with exquisite presentation to match I'm not sure if I really have any qualms tbh. Part of me feels like the instructions got a tiny bit vague as the game went on, but that may have just been a skill issue from my side. Especially since this sort of game isn't one that I usually play None the less, it was definitely damn interesting to play through. Seeing the art for each solar systems was definitely it's own reward. Great stuff here overall
Oct 21 12:10:52 1h 20m Caption Obvious ♥ 1 Screenshot 2026-10-21 173533.png Unfortunately I'm pig-headed so I took a little more time than I really should have. I thought after getting the caption from the drunk guy, I didn't think there was anything else you could get from him. Thank you for having the bulb indicator to show that there's still more you can say/ask I don't really have any qualms with this since it's honestly a really funny and charming little point-and-click. My only issue is that it was a little hard to tell who was talking at some points. I don't mean to throw any shade to your voice acting since it's great. I just felt like the intonation of some characters were a little too similar. That and some of the puzzles devolved a little too much into trial-and-error. None the less, these are just small issues all things considered. The boss theme song was great All in all, good stuff here
Oct 21 16:47:27 4h 36m Coup of Appliance ♥ 1 You know, I wanted to write up a pretty well detailed piece of feedback for this game. I wanted to talk about how I thought the characters were actually balanced pretty well overall. The player character was a solid all-rounder, the plant being a solid healer and the penguin being a berserker ( penguin ftw ). But the truth is, the only way I can describe this game is with this moonknight random bs go meme.png ( I mean this as a complement ) Either way, incredible presentation in general. My only complaint is that the final boss was kind of a pushover. Add jesus into the mix ( lol btw ) and that final fight became a little dissappointing from a gameplay standpoint. It was absolutely hilarious none the less, but I think the final boss could've done with some sort of attack that did damage to everyone maybe. That aside, very fun and interesting game which had me both intrigued about what it would throw at me next, along with having me laugh my head off
Oct 21 18:00:16 1h 12m Bumper Cars Guy ♥ 0 Got a high score of 260. Cool and interesting idea which you've executed pretty well. I do like how the game is based entirely around preventing the other bumper karts from ending up in jams so to speak. Cool and readable art as well. However, I'm not really a fan of how the approval meter continues to decrease when new kids are taking up the cart. Kinda wished that the meter was paused during this moment since there didn't seem to be anything I could do in those moments. I also felt that the game itself could've used maybe another element to it ? As an example, the player getting bumped around was funny, but it also could've used some sort of penalty to it maybe ? Or on the flipside, maybe getting hit would cause the kid's approval to increase ? Just an idea really lol. All that said, this is still a fun little arcade game. Good stuff.
