Apr 21 10:31:23 Link the Shrink ♥ 3 Very nice game! A bit unclear when you start, but once you get it, it's pretty addictive. I played until a bug prevented me from playing my cards =( Sans titre.png
Apr 21 10:40:40 9m 17s Coo-Coo, Chef! ♥ 4 I love the concept. Chaos is fun, but I think there might bee a bit too much. As said by others, I'd enjoy the game more if the instructions where a bit more clear, even tho I love the idea of you having to figure out out to communicate with the birds. With a bit of work, it could become really cool! :) On a sidenote, the game is a bit laggy on my computer =(
Apr 21 10:54:10 13m 30s Misplaced ♥ 1 Well, that's my jam! I loved it from start to finish(?). I wish it was a bit longer, but I love short and sweet as well. The music is a banger, the humor is funny, the echo effect when landing is really nice. I loved it, great work!
Apr 21 12:17:58 1h 23m Sound Signals ♥ 1 Nice use of sound to know where to go. I liked the creature from the second level, if wish there were more things like that to meet in your journey. Nice entry overall, good job! :)
Apr 21 12:33:14 15m 16s Ping to Survive ♥ 1 The game is interesting. I really like the concept, it's pretty addictive. The one thing I would change, is that you loose abilities instead of earning them. So that the beginning is easier, and gets more difficult, instead of having the peak oh difficulty at the beginning :) Also, it's probably just me, but sometimes I swear I do a (green) ping, nothing shoes up, and I take a hit before I can green ping again, it's frustrating :') Good job tho!
Apr 21 14:37:00 2h 03m Cave Man Conversations ♥ 2 Very nice concept. Relaxing and pretty innovative. Nice :)
Apr 22 09:35:03 18h 58m B.O.B.O ♥ 1 Very nice game, very polished! You really nailed the cuteness of BOBO, and of the game in general. The art and music really go well together! My only complain is that I played the game twice, and both times it crashed after I completed a lap on the board and saw the dialog. Or is it the end? Either way, I enjoyed both my playthrough, well done!
Apr 22 09:51:08 16m 05s Zap the Dead ♥ 1 Very nice game, I really like the concept, and the level design is interesting. I really enjoyed it. Only drawback is that I would have liked a proper ending after you collect every soul. Good job!
Apr 22 10:53:19 1h 02m Radio Nation ♥ 3 I really enjoy the concept, but I got to admit two things kinda ruined the experience for me =( The first one is that the games seems to be hungry for resources, it was fine at the beginning, but as I played, it dropped to about 5FPS, making it hard to enjoy. The second one, is that at first I played the game as intended, but then I realized it was way more efficient to become an explorer. As you earn 10 points per tile revealed, and the game seems to have an infinite (or at least very huge) playground, you can put something on a new tile to reveal 3 new tiles, earning 30 points, and keep going, sometimes placing a signal to get extra points. You will earn buildings faster than you spend them, and you can keep going on and on. I stopped at 10 000 points, and had still more than 50 houses left in my inventory. So I must admit the process became pretty repetitive, and not really fun. That being said, if you intend to keep working on this game after the jam, I think the problem can easily be solved. One way would be to reduce points from new tiles, or give more points to the signal system. But what I'd recommend would be to set limits in the playground. You can make them look natural with mountains or forest that take up the whole tile. That way, the player would have a finite space to work with, leading to more strategy. That also would reduce the resources needed, as the game would have to handle less tiles. I would definitely enjoy that game. Because I don't want you to think the game is a failure or anything! As I said, I really enjoy the concept. The animations when discovering tiles are also great, and add to the good pressure of hoping the tiles you will uncover will suit your plan, as well as the buildings you get. I don't want to sound harsh, I'm just trying to write a constructive criticism. Because I think you have very nice foundations, and with just a few tweaks, your game would genuinely become great! :)
Apr 22 11:19:08 25m 49s Signal ♥ 0 I will go with the flow here, and say great job doing all this with no engine! But the game is also too difficult. I totally get that you ran out of time before finishing the difficulty balancing, I went there myself on my previous jam haha. Good job on that entry :)
Apr 22 11:40:58 21m 50s Catch the signals ♥ 1 Nice game! A bit too difficult for me to reach the end, but I had fun :)
Apr 22 12:00:00 19m 02s Signal Operator ♥ 0 I liked this game. Goofy train accidents with fun messages, just enough levels without being too much. For the second to last level, I was curious how much time it would take to resolve the level without doing anything, and I got it in about 3 minutes, it was a cool experiment ^^ Good job there!
Apr 22 16:04:03 4h 04m FOREIGN FREQUENCY ♥ 2 Nice game. It becomes a bit too repetitive at the end so it's nice you didn't try to make it last too long. The theme is nice, but imo, what really shines in your game, is how you successfully reproduced a windows like environment. The that you can reduce windows and move them is really well done, I am impressed! I managed to get ending A and B, are there more? :)
Apr 22 16:15:02 10m 59s Signal Resonance ♥ 0 Very nice entry! The atmosphere is on point! The only thing that bothered me is that once I had the 3 pages, I was looking for a fourth one for quite a while, because the UI made me think there was one, and the same dialog kept happening when clicking the book. I was hoping for something to make me understand I had to click the pages, then the holes in the book. Besides that, great game! :)
Apr 23 18:45:04 26h 30m Beep Beep Until You're Rich! ♥ 2 Gonna be honest: my favorite game of the jam so far! The chilling atmosphere, with beautiful music and sound design, is very relaxing. The progression feels very good, you really nailed it. I played it again after finishing it for the first time! I also really like that you can still play for 100% after completing the game. Two minor bugs: Sometimes, especially when you earn a lot of money, the gold counter on the upgrades page is broken. Also, if you finish digging the last item using your last chunk of stamina, the game will prioritize the lack of stamina, and will bring you back to the upgrades page, instead of the end. Now what I'd like to see is an ingame timer for speedruns, or at least the number of trips you needed to beat the game 😄 Great entry, congratulations!
Apr 23 18:52:53 7m 49s Propagation ♥ 1 Nice little game :) Instructions very clear, and the level design showcased some interesting things. Good job :)
