| Apr 7 23:36:18 | Continental Shelf | ♥ 1 | I had to replay the first level after I saw that the "click to move a fish" instructions weren't there until the second level, just to see if I could beat it without moving a fish (and it was much harder!). I loved the "lonely fish" level (#5). I would have liked some feedback upon clicking a fish, I often found I had clicked on one before the previous animation finished, but due to the rollover it looked like it was selected, and then I went and clicked somewhere else and it didn't move. Difficultly seemed fairly flat - only the last level took me more than a minute it seemed like, but it was fun all the way through! Very nice overall, music and graphics both felt good. | |
| Apr 8 14:19:03 | 14h 42m | Treasurefall | ♥ 1 | I love the effect when opening a door and the level falling into place, feels nice! By the end, I felt wonderfully powerful with almost a full set of prime dice. I didn't feel like the triple-whammy was particularly useful (seemed like it almost always would have been overkill, or I just didn't have enough dice to make it different than pounces). Something like a ranged attack (would probably have to do half damage, or lowest-die's damage or something more complex...) would have maybe been more interesting, and gave me something useful to do when I just have 1 die left and am not standing next to an enemy. I managed to recover the treasure, and had fun doing it, nice job! |
| Apr 10 00:28:22 | 34h 09m | Neuronic Netronics | ♥ 1 | Oh my gosh, I don't understand! Or at least that's what I feel like, though I managed to fumble through all of the levels, and even get the special ending, however it felt like I had to cheat for that one - I modified my graph half-way through and for some reason sometimes it didn't reset the progress and it gave me the win. Was it possible to do somehow without that (I can't imagine how, since there's only one input, but... I might have missed something)? Screenshot 2025-04-09 172341.png It took me a while to figure out what my available tools were - in the end I decided it was "add" and "multiply by -1...1" and, with what felt like a hack, "generate a 1.0", is that what they're supposed to be? Doing this all in WebAssembly (5K lines of it?!) is really impressive and cool. The visuals were wonderful and I love the excessive fire effects (reminds me of old ASM demos on the 486 😆). |
| Apr 21 23:11:18 | 286h 42m | Scampi | ♥ 0 | I love leaping out of the water to get caught by the ship up high and skipping the "get pulled up" step =). Picking up the car pieces was really satisfying for some reason. Only annoyance was when I get near something, one arm starts reaching for it, it's almost there, and then I get a little nearer and the first arm nopes out and a different one goes for it. I cleared the depths in 11:49, and enjoyed (almost) every minute of it! Nice atmosphere too. |
| Apr 21 23:35:39 | 24m 21s | Captain Peggles: That Man's Chest | ♥ 4 | Wow, this is basically the perfect async multiplayer game concept for a jam, and really well executed! Only thing missing is a leaderboard of who's maps are the awesomest 😆 (although it seems like all of the ones I played were good enough to let me get the treasure perfectly in 3 digs). Only thing I wish I knew was that I'd be drawing 3 treasures on 1 map (I thought it'd be 3 maps), I did quite a sketch of my surroundings before having to erase it all 😆. Nice job! |
| Apr 22 00:06:44 | 31m 05s | North Depths | ♥ 1 | Really beautiful, I love this. Even with an auto-clicker it went too slow though, I gave up around when I got to the depth of iron :(. All of the sound and feedback and interface just work great though, just a little faster and I'd be hooked! |
| Apr 22 00:27:41 | 20m 57s | Dwarvenshaft | ♥ 1 | It took me a *very* long time, even with reading the messages here, to figure out how you "dig down". Apparently you have to also first move your dwarfs *up* to not be at the bottom of the map (they ended up there because I figured that's how you "dig down" 😆). The controls for moving the map around are too hard for me, I really need keyboard or something to scroll, and I try to move the mouse to the edge of the screen and it leaves the window and then stops scrolling (continuing scrolling in that case would also work). It's also really hard to find the hole down I dug to actually get all my dwarves down there. Music was nice, and I did really enjoy watching my dwarves mine until I lost track of them 😆. |
| Apr 24 00:26:01 | 47h 58m | Shafted | ♥ 1 | Nice game! It took me quite a few tries to figure out what I was supposed to do when the crazy clown showed up at the end, I didn't notice the health bar at all, and my pickaxes went right through him (on the way up), so I just dodges for a while, until a few tries later I managed to actually land a hit (and then take a few more tries to get the win). Was satisfying when I did. Nicely done with being text-less, I always like that in a game if pulled off well, and you pulled it off well! |
