| Oct 15 13:13:36 | Happy Bees | ♥ 1 | The linux build works perfectly fine! I love the cute graphics and the hexagons. We need more games with hexagons, squares are boring. The gameplay is well balanced and easy to understand: it starts off easy, then becomes harder over time, and we have to think before placing a new tile. Sometimes we can get a card for a hive that requires a flower we don't have any card for yet, but we usually get one in the next 2-3 cards so it's not a huge issue. I agree with the comment above, music and sounds are the only things missing for a complete game! | |
| Oct 15 15:49:36 | 2h 36m | Cheddar Chase | ♥ 2 | The graphics are great and the fact it's a custom WebGL engine is impressive! It runs better than most Godot or Unity web exports. Gameplay wise, it's a bit difficult to see how far the rats can see: their cone of light fade over long distances, but their vision seems to go further than the fading. Meanwhile, we can somehow push the rats out of the way without them noticing as long as we're behind them. :D |
| Oct 15 16:26:13 | 36m 37s | Tiny Car | ♥ 1 | The car goes way too faaaaast AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- (no, seriously, the car turns too quickly and when we approach a tiny creature, even if we brake as hard as possible, we have to hit a wall due to how fast we're going) The idea is great tho, approaching anomalies and discovering more map feels good! Adding our current size to the UX would be nice: either something like `1.0x -> 0.9x -> 0.1x...` or something like `2m -> 1m -> 50cm -> 1mm...`. That way, we easily know how far from the _normal space_ we are. |
| Oct 16 11:09:11 | 18h 42m | Shiba Idle | ♥ 1 | I also got a freeze when I was spamming devils. :( We had a similar issue on our game when spamming too many entities. I have no idea if your issue is the same, but I managed to fix it by re-enabling `Thread Support` in the web export: https://godotengine.org/article/progress-report-web-export-in-4-3/ It's disabled by default in Godot 4.3, which you seem to be using. godot-web-thread.png --- As for the game, it's cute and having to click on the treats from the flower shibas and moving the ball around makes the gameplay less idle! The gym and the factory seem nearly useless tho, those should probably be either buffed or replaced into something else. (that pixel-art "5" is so weird, I couldn't look at anything else when there was one on the screen. :'D) |
| Oct 16 11:26:50 | 17m 39s | Amoebalize | ♥ 0 | Oh no, I'm playing agar.io again! :D The game is cool, but a bit too difficult and unforgiving, I agree with @tuism's comment. If it's going to be a one-hit-death situation like Celeste of Super Meat Boy, please have us respawn in the same room at least ! |
| Oct 19 13:25:22 | 73h 58m | Cone of Defense | ♥ 1 | I agree, it feels like the good old flash games! Great entry for 5 hours, could have been much better if you had more time. :D Too bad we can't do anything after a while because even if we react instantly we can't win. :( |
| Oct 19 14:14:51 | 49m 29s | Vi and the Fairies | ♥ 1 | During my first run, I got the Water Fairy before the Wind Fairy and I had no idea how to get out of the room. Did I miss something or is it not possible without the midair jump? However, I managed to get all four fairies in my second run! :D A way to configure the mouse sensibility would be nice, I had to struggle to move the camera because it was way too slow on my PC. I was lifting my mouse two or three times just to turn 180 degrees. 😠The graphics are very cute, especially the particles all over the place, in the air, in water, during spins, etc...! |
| Oct 19 19:14:25 | 4h 59m | Gnomania | ♥ 0 | The mining sound effect is so satisfying :D Took me a little while to understand that I had to build Water+Mine to start, otherwise I was stuck since I couldn't generate any leave. |
| Oct 19 19:50:08 | 35m 43s | Petri Dish RogueLite | ♥ 1 | Oh, I like this kind of incremental game where we get stronger after losing :D In my first run, I didn't even need to purchase all upgrades, I just had max timid, full speed and full strength and got a petri dish where all the food was very close. easy-win.png My cell just had to run in a triangle from one food to another and could go on forever without losing any nutrition. |
| Oct 20 12:21:16 | 16h 31m | Spirit Quest | ♥ 1 | I didn't understand why the size changing ability was useful since I could finish the entire game in max size, then I realized the tutorial lied to us and we actually had to find other gems without spirits. :D It took me a looong time to find the true infernal shard, it looks exactly like the walls so it's nearly invisible, I only got it by jumping randomly in the area to find some kind of a secret passage. I even tried to get inside the jars while small in case it was hidden inside! |
