| Apr 16 19:29:26 | Spirit, are you there? | ♥ 2 | thanks.png for this game! Very nice introduction, it makes you want play the game. Mood is amazing, and when the story starts to be very interesting... it ends. Frustrating but if we want more it is because it was good :) Maybe you could continue the story and do a post jam version. | |
| Apr 16 21:56:29 | 2h 27m | Summoning Sun | ♥ 3 | Wow. It was so immersive. I was in the dark and was completely in the game for I don't know how long. I liked the intro. The eyes were nice placed so you want to explore. I went to the grass and expected to be killed or idk. Then the true game started. Even with a trackpad, it was fun to play and very satisfying to know what to do without any explanation. The progressive feedback when you are misplaced is very good and even more when you loose one member. It was a bit repetitive tho. Don't know if you tried others patterns but maybe some like combining rotation + fwd/bwd movement could have been cool (can't remember if there were some). Or maybe small circles of 3-4 peoples and I think there are a lot to invent. I thank of scoring too but it would have lost immersion I guess. I also wished something happening with the fire and/or some spirit to appear. And the music... it was awesome. I don't know if it could make a real game, but maybe it can be integrated in a RPG game. But for a LD entry it was just very well executed. Nice job! |
| Apr 16 22:10:40 | 14m 11s | Totem Breakout | ♥ 3 | 72.png Nice little game. Didn't understand the F was not random at first. Also ended using melee only for archers or to finish a soldier but else was using mostly the rock and try to not being touched by arrows. Hitboxes could have been better I guess and the range of the melee attack increased. Also we can walk through the big rock it's a bit weird. Will come back to make a better score I think. |
| Apr 21 16:14:22 | 114h 03m | Throes of the Javelin | ♥ 3 | Great work. Nothing to say about graphics and sounds (I like the different sounds depending on the surface). For the mechanic, I dislike a bit playing keyboard + mouse especially when you have to point the opposite direction. Also the camera movement was weird, it changes too many times when you jump (maybe it was only at the beiginning iI don't remember). But the mechanic was quite fun, even if it's a bit hard especially when you can fall down to the bottom. ++ game! |
| Apr 21 20:56:18 | 4h 41m | Harmony Forest | ♥ 1 | Even if graphics have different styles it looks pretty good espacially the cards. I did try to understand the mechanics but I didn't understand all. I was able to summon a lot of cards quite easily, to let the fox live by eating others but it was quite hard to figure out what cards needs and how to get what they need (like energy). You could have incorpored some levels to introduce the game with less cards and a objective. I felt like I had top optimize card types by choosing which one to summon to keep harmony, but without understanding well the mecanics it was quite hard to do it and have fun. You may add some simple (static, screenshots) examples for future testers and I may come back try again if you do so! |
| Apr 21 21:17:17 | 20m 59s | theGRIMOIRE_ | ♥ 1 | Good puzzle mechanic, art is good, music is good, a bit hard but that's a puzzle game so that's fine. Levels 2-x were quite interesting, brute force don't really work there and you have to think in advance to know where you can offset the robots. Really enjoyed it ++! EDIT: I struggled A LOT at the beginning to understand what to do, it wasn't instinctive for me to understand we had use the 'cheat code' to instantiate the mirror one and then how the mirror robot work. I thought the leftest case was a summoner and not that is was unrelated to the summon gameplay. |
| Apr 21 21:30:49 | 13m 32s | Spirit Chant | ♥ 1 | Capture d'écran 2024-04-21 232749.png Nice sounds & art! Gameplay is objectively not innovative but still fun. Was too easy for me, I would have liked more speed and notes and earlier because it was a bit too easy/boring. Also I think it misses some feedbacks when you miss a note I guess? And don't know if it was really synchronized (was there an input lag?), even with the Windows version I tried. Still a really nice little game, good job! |
| Apr 21 21:49:30 | 18m 41s | Runic Summoner | ♥ 1 | Capture d'écran 2024-04-21 234714.png Nice little game. Well balanced. I thought the red bases was hitting me... But after I understood it wasn"t the case it was quite fun. Camera would have been better if it was more top down. I REALLY liked the RMB effect, would love to see others patterns it's so satisfying. Great game! |
| Apr 22 12:14:17 | 14h 24m | Delightfully Devilish | ♥ 3 | It is a bit difficult to understand the rules and how things work. Even after trying several times it was difficult to actually play and optimize the summons. Not sure how you could make it more understandable but that's definitely something needed for more players to enjoy it. I liked the music, not much the sounds, and art was pretty good! Good job for that. |
| Apr 22 12:47:38 | 33m 21s | bergs | ♥ 2 | Capture d’écran du 2024-04-22 14-45-26.png Nice little game. Not too difficult, not too easy. I liked the fact you can infinitely spawn bergs but you can get stuck because of that. Multiple sizes of bergs were such a nice idea espacially with the jump height difference. Really enjoyed playing it! Also sound and music are very good, graphics are well made too with a unique style. Nice entry! |
| Apr 22 13:02:31 | 14m 53s | The Cultivator’s Conjuring Compendium | ♥ 3 | Can't beat the boss but was a nice game! Cards are very comprehensive, we can think in advace. I liked the buff until the enemy dies to regain life. Randomness feels very random tho, like sometimes you have only defensive cards and can't really attack enough so you just die. Would have liked to have some extra bonus cards for next games so you have more energy per turn and/or life to go further in the game. |
| Apr 23 10:06:57 | 21h 04m | Elemental Frontiers | ♥ 1 | Classic tower defense but effective. A bit hard that if one enemmy touch the village you loose. Feedback when clicking on elements could be added. I liked the fact you can build kinda of walls wherever you want to redirect enemies. Nice work! |
| Apr 23 10:25:13 | 18m 16s | I found my brother's old cartridge! | ♥ 2 | It is... very different. Sounds were a bit loud compared to my audio level ^^ There are a lot of small effects, like stretch animations, attack animations, etc. it feels polished. Nice job for that. Art was good in its own style too. Humor is not exactly what I like but it's there. |
| Apr 23 10:54:25 | 29m 12s | Weather wizard | ♥ 1 | I like the level design and art, but you could add used a different green for the player. Any tip to go out of the water? I'm stuck and definitely want to continue. Please @ me |
