The view angle could maybe be a little more zoomed in but overall I had fun spawning and combining. I couldn't really interact with the shop between levels. Don't know if it was a bug or possibly I wasn't able to parse what my interactions did? (I was playing the web build and you did warn ahead of time so it might just be on me). Good work! | |

Also a super smart narrative conceit! Fantastic entry!! The solution for the three horizontal lines in the garden had me literally exclaiming the first two words of this review out loud! 5 stars across the board! Great show!! |

Amazing illustrations - I would've loved to see some of them during the exposition text in the beginning as well! Also I had the hardest time figuring out that the summoning book was where I had to click the first go - Maybe make the book larger and more center of attention? Either way - Fun submission! Great work! |

I feel that the balance between the different economies was a little obtuse when it came to how each unit affected the progressbars, though that might have been due to a bug + user error - only half of the summons had info text when hovered and I did accidentally skip a page in the tutorial. 😆 I also didn't grok that I had to press space bar to be able to place the summons with klick. Either way - Excellent work and especially for a solo! Awesome submission! Great work! |

A next step would maybe to add target hype numbers to reach to get a win-state that isn't also a failstate! Then you could have progressive arenas that require more and more hype to please and also unlock additional (even more showy) gladiators! Haha just my mind spinning off on features which I think is a mark of a really good game-concept. (And I know! - not feasible within the JAM scope) ;) With the scope in mind this is an amazing achievement! Great job!! 5 stars! |
