Apr 16 01:35:45 Entity Summoner ♥ 2 Commenting to make sure I come back and play, Itch.io getting slammed. 🤓 Screenshot 2024-04-16 023439.png
Apr 17 19:59:19 42h 23m The Duke's Cartographer. ♥ 2 I tried but couldn't find anything, but the concept is cool - especially if fleshed out a bit more, like cartographic minesweeper - if you say came across a grassland and clicked it, you'd get a bonus flood-fill of several blocks.
Apr 17 20:32:55 33m 36s Sumo-ning ♥ 3 Very cool - I'd have loved to do it on full screen to really appreciate the art. I found myself replaying to see if I could do a finishing move quicker. Just collecting as many souls as possible to get a giant shove. Could make a cool arcade game or mobile game.
Apr 18 21:17:10 24h 44m NECRO RUSH ♥ 5 Very cool, it'd be great to have some more defences or tactics ( and just general feedback like knowing enemy wizard health) Love the characters design. ✌️ I couldn't complete overlord. 😢
Apr 18 21:25:41 8m 31s Cat In Hat ♥ 1 Very cool! I think my PC is getting too old for the latest unreal sadly - really loved the style. I think maybe some more obvious grid elements would have been cool , so it's more predictable where hairball would summon maybe, other than that, great job for a jam game ✌️
Apr 18 21:57:48 32m 07s Gacha Panic ♥ 2 I think my PC is getting old now, I struggled with FPS once I got the $1000 vending machines. Screenshot 2024-04-18 225527.png Loved the art style and the idea of the game, I got a bit lost wandering parts of the city with no vending machines. It'd be cool to have some indicators of where to find enemies / vending machines etc.
Apr 22 20:14:07 94h 16m Songbird Symphony ♥ 1 Very cool! I live out in the stix so I have love hate relationship with some birds, especially owls 🦉 I played on the phone for the full experience. If you continued to develop, it'd be cool to have a speed element to the stokes, as well as accuracy. If the up strokes are fast, the down are slow or something, for extra challenge. https://youtu.be/7vRWtpeRgnc
Apr 25 08:57:16 60h 43m Phasebound ♥ 1 Really liked the mechanic and the puzzles, it got particularly tricky once the blocking areas and spikes were introduced. If you continued with this beyond the compo, it'd be cool to see some modifiers to the main effect, maybe one-directional movement, speed changes etc. Great job!
Apr 27 21:40:56 60h 43m Souls 'R Us ♥ 1 Did a speed run 😄 https://youtu.be/_9AC6xlGEgg Great stuff for a compo game, plenty of options with the shop, would be cool to be able to do more with the demons, they kind had a bias for the left hand side of the screen, if you could have centroids to have them cluster around it'd be less likely for small clumps to get picked off due to lack of numbers getting into play. Bonus points for all the dialogue / sound effect work!
Apr 30 22:39:36 72h 58m Unpacking Armageddon ♥ 0 Nice! The mad dash to get the candle to the pentagram was pretty challenging, if you developed beyond the jam, it'd be cool to see some holes / portals / water etc. that'd do different things to the candle - put it out, teleport it, lose it down a hole etc.
Apr 30 23:10:03 30m 27s Stars Align ♥ 1 Love the concept, and very well executed for a compo game, the music really added an extra pizazz 🎵 Sadly I'm not caffeinated enough to figure out the final puzzles , but just to say, amazing job for such a polished and rounded entry.
May 1 21:50:48 22h 40m Tiny Summons ♥ 1 This was very cool, being able to control the game through the chat. Another player joined at same time also which was pretty cool. It was interesting mixing up the different characters and stats. If you continued it beyond the jam, it'd be cool to see health bars etc. and perhaps a way for a team to build up more summoning points over rounds if chat players continue over several rounds.
May 1 21:58:55 8m 07s No Heroes Belong Here ♥ 0 Pretty fun, liked that there was a varied selection of monsters, if there was the possibility to place more than one monster in the bigger rooms, that'd be cool, or maybe , if you had two Goblin cards etc., if you placed them both in the same room, you'd just get a buffed version of the goblin.
May 1 22:06:40 7m 45s Demon Doodles ♥ 2 Very cool, the bit where it lines up the players version vs the target shape is savage. 😃 Great job with the art, loved the creature design!
May 2 22:17:37 24h 10m Glyphwalker ♥ 1 Very nice, if you did more post-jam, it'd be cool to explore more shapes / combinations of clockwise/anti-clockwise movements and maybe for walls / ghosts, be able to destroy things within the bounds of the green squares?
May 3 19:24:11 21h 06m Summoning ♥ 1 Really love the art and the animations. I couldn't win a single round at all, not sure if it was possible to win, I tried several strategies from pooling mana , building up a bigger army or massing the guys worshipping but couldn't get a win. It'd be cool to have an easy first victory , and then maybe ramp up the difficulty, or maybe some sort of indication of the first force I was up against ( they have 10 dudes and 20 mana or something ? )
May 3 21:10:34 1h 46m Penguinology ♥ 1 10 out of 5 for Humour. Reflecting the sentiment of other comments, I'd have enjoyed further penguin placement options, however the experience as it was summoned a deep uncontrolled belly laugh. 😆 Excellent job! Screenshot 2024-05-03 220813.png
May 3 21:32:19 21m 45s Crypt Decrypt ♥ 0 Very strong on the concept , the design and the music. It'd be great to have a little more solidity to the UI whether it be with some sort of path/particle overlay to suggest actions for the skeleton , or for simpler actions for each skeleton type. The concept is great though, with more polish on the UI it'd be a great mobile puzzle game
May 3 22:23:55 51m 36s Grishnek Legacy ♥ 1 DDR but with demons, the combination of drawing and buttons was very challenging ! ✌️
