Apr 16 01:00:36 Hell's Company ♥ 1 I loved the aesthetic of this one! Despite the description being super clear, I somehow missed the part about having to turn off the screen for the boss and kept losing... thought this game was impossible at first, haha. Once I got the hang of it, I quite liked the flow of needing to rapidly click the close button when the boss was near! I do with that the gameplay moved faster, as it was a lot of idle waiting and no more than one order at a time. I played to 100 soul--maybe it eventually speeds up?
Apr 16 01:08:22 7m 46s Elemental Assembly ♥ 3 Lovely look to the art and map and UI! The slow summoning of your golem has been mentioned by plenty of people, but with that fixed, it would be much more enjoyable to try out the combos until you break through. As it stands, the slow delay between choosing a config and seeing its results is a bit less than ideal / makes it tougher to want to sit through the trial-and-error to finally win the duel
Apr 16 01:54:48 46m 26s Angel's Inferno ♥ 6 What a delightfully high-production-value entry! The house and interactivity is all lovely. The idea of an evil Alexa destroying your house is a novel one, and there's something about the gameplay loop that reminds me of the chaos of an Overcooked game (in a great way). Very impressive and polished!
Apr 16 02:07:28 12m 40s Abyssal Inc. ♥ 0 A nice little showcase of great art and music! I particularly enjoyed the ending track with the guitar riffing over the Halloween theme (or whichever horror movie classic it was)
Apr 16 02:19:37 12m 09s ColorMon ♥ 1 >walk three feet in a cave system >somewhere, a new piece of cheese mutters "not today, witch"
Apr 16 02:28:31 8m 54s enChant ♥ 3 Awesome little game! The arrow notation makes me flash back to battling terminids and automatons 😅 My one gripe is that after restarting it seems to make me go through the tutorial again, which was a bit long/slow. Still, a fun core mechanic that might be even cooler if integrated into a larger game! It makes me think back to my days of playing DnD, where spells had both verbal and somatic components to them!
Apr 16 02:44:38 16m 07s SquiggleMancer ♥ 2 Awesome and polished looking game! I enjoyed the magicka-esque spellcasting... there's something really fun about just mashing elements together and seeing what happens. I would've liked if the different elements were named so that their effects were easier to predict--but then again, the uncertainty and experimentation was half the fun! Minor bug, but it looks like movement horizontally and movement vertically were handled independently of each other, which means that you can hold both up and right to move diagonally--but since your vertical and horizontal movements are combined, your overall speed is now faster! It was easy to outrun just about every enemy by walking diagonally! Overall, great art, fun mechanics--nicely done!
Apr 16 03:11:41 27m 03s Summoner's Emporium ♥ 3 What a gorgeous little game! Felt a bit like an idle game with the incremental progress and getting your slime economy going. The art style is super appealing--it might just be the best-looking game I've played yet!
Apr 16 03:27:21 15m 40s Hellpet ♥ 2 Super polished and pretty game! I love mashing those helldivers-like input combos as enemies creep towards me... lots of great moments as I got slammed around or the dog fell asleep while I was in a corner, boxing me in to my doom. Great summoning UI--really nicely made!
Apr 16 03:36:10 8m 49s Imagining Dragons ♥ 2 ~Ultimate vibes simulator~ Or, finally a way to train my rizz that does not require speaking to other human beings
Apr 16 03:43:23 7m 13s Helloons ♥ 1 ~be not afraid~ screenie6.png I actually always sucked at folding balloon animals, but now this game lets me also suck at folding balloon animals *in clown hell*. Making a game where you can draw in 3d is certainly an interesting challenge... the drawing works as a cool tech demo, and the theming is great!
Apr 16 03:50:46 7m 23s The In Between ♥ 2 A fun twist on the summoning concept! I had a point where it seemed like flinging chicken into the yellow portal wasn't doing anything, and I couldn't quite figure out how to get any further than that. Either way, this is a polished-looking game with great soundtrack that scratches the same itch as Factorio! I do love getting everything flinging precisely where it's supposed to go
Apr 16 04:07:34 16m 48s Welcoming the WORLD-EATER ♥ 2 happy birthday, little man 🥳🎉🎈🎊🎈🥳 The birthday bop is seriously great--if that's original, the composer did a killer job
Apr 16 04:18:18 10m 44s Fantasy Lawyer: Thou Hast Been Served! ♥ 3 \>be lawyerre \>hidde behind yon bushe \>thy target approaches \>leappe from bushe in secret disguise, papers in handde \>it is not thy target, but merely his brotherre \>scofflawed again
Apr 16 04:28:25 10m 07s Summoner's Tip ♥ 4 \>what is my purpose? "you find remotes" \>oh my god
Apr 16 04:57:00 28m 35s Thundersnow ♥ 3 A fun little game! Would've loved to see more stages getting to use the hammer ability--it was fun to send the homing projectile out (and took me a bit to figure out I could even aim the thing). There just wasn't enough to hit with it! The game has a great, polished look and feel--nicely done!
Apr 16 05:04:21 7m 21s Photographic Memory ♥ 4 This was a super interesting and unique concept! The idea of having to flip through random, chaotic images and find the one that a person is vaguely alluding to is a really neat idea and although there aren't many stages, it was super satisfying to play through. Everything from UI to sound to graphic style is crisp and polished. Very well done!
Apr 16 05:17:29 13m 08s Celestial Summoner ♥ 1 A great little survivors-like! I really enjoyed the glow/bloom effect; it made me think of the way an old CRT screen would light up next to brighter pixels. It was an enjoyable loop of trying out different ability/summon combos, though I think I found an unbeatable pair in witch+fireball. I stood in the center of a cloud of spidery, exploding death until it was clear I would literally never die. Still, breaking systems is most of the fun of survivorslike games. Nicely done!
Apr 17 07:13:08 25h 55m Summoning Salesman ♥ 1 A really interesting and well-done game! It was a fun loop, upcycling cards and reading all of the adjectives to figure out which would best fit the missions... awesome aesthetics for the room and summoning fire effects were really cool!
