Oct 3 11:18:36 PIO ♥ 2 Pretty neat level design you got here. Made me rage in frustration (in a good way). Once you understand it's a puzzle game, the experience is way better. Good job ! I had a bug :Pio.PNG I think it happened when I ate while being jumping to the roof, but now I'm safe :3 A better game over / restart experience could be a good improvement but it's cool like that anyway !
Oct 3 11:31:12 12m 36s Limited in Space ♥ 0 Pretty impressive game in pure C (made me nostalgic of my student times). Colored asteroids add decision making and stress. It was great ! I had "Wasapi Error" on launch, and, sadly, no sound at all :/
Oct 3 11:40:40 9m 28s Scorched Asteroids! ♥ 0 The physics, feedbacks and random generation is really great and i'm curious how you did it ! It may be too easy or clunky, it's just a jam game. I enjoyed the little time I spent on it ! I think missiles should collide with enemy tanks though. I missed a great shot :(
Oct 3 11:53:00 12m 20s RoboRage ♥ 1 Cool game with interesting ideas, but sadly I can't progress after the first check points. Also i encountered a forge with no resources to spend besides screws, maybe i did something wrong? I feel like an upgrade is necessary... Pretty hard to control too, maybe make the shooting direction following the mouse? Shooting down while jumping and moving is a bit overwhelming, for me at least :)
Oct 3 12:07:54 14m 54s Bullfrog Burnie ♥ 3 Loved the game ! Great art and feedbacks. I think you should put checkpoints on every level. I rage quit on level 10 after 3 tries because of the chore of doing the previous level again. Big up to the animations, closing levels is an amazing idea !
Oct 3 12:44:47 36m 53s Berg Jump ♥ 1 I agree with the other comments about RNG, it could work better, but it's a really fun game and i enjoyed it a lot when i managed to get a good run ! Jump velocity is bound to walk velocity and it's a bit hard sometimes to judge jump distance when changing direction. Good job !
Oct 3 12:59:04 14m 17s Claustrophobia ♥ 1 Amazing game! I really loved the idea, even it's not fitting the theme very well imo. I'm a big fan of "UI" and management game. Difficulty progression is great and i was really stressed before loosing ! Little Unity tips : - I played full screen and the UI was really small on my big chad screen. You can go to you Canvas and set Scaling to "Scale with screen size" instead of "Constant pixel size" - Some of your UI elements have standard Unity assets which are utterly ugly (it's pixelated af, and have a sidewalk grey color). You can set the sprite to "none" and it will display a nice white square and change it's color. It's not like it was a pretty asset, but cost nothing, takes no time, and is often prettier. Great job !
Oct 3 13:23:10 24m 06s Inferno Collapse ♥ 2 Previous comments sum it up : character should be smaller, and respawning on the previous level seems weird and frustrating. A lot of levels were not that interesting, just moving forward (or, vile sinner you are, a leap of faith !!) with no challenge. I think you should have focused more on the core experience of a platformer game than quantity of feature (combat / items / health) which are not theme related and not really relevant imo. Do less, do better, as.. i don't know who said. Also, i have 3 screens, and the mouse is going away of the game window, making it sometimes hard to hit enemies :/ Pretty grim comment, focused on negatives, i'm sorry, but GG anyway ! Some levels were really great !
Oct 3 13:33:34 10m 24s Tiny Tour ♥ 2 Incredibly well done ! Art is great, sound and mood perfect, and level design on point, simple but addictive. GG Best entry i played so far.
Oct 3 13:55:00 21m 26s Hasty Heist ♥ 4 Pretty good, and intresting. But i didn't understand how to get out before the end of the timer and just waited for the end, loosing sadly. It's well polished and the idea of stacking thing on my back made me laugh. I wished it would stack every items instead of just "upgrade" items. You could have paused the game with the list of items we should find before starting the timer, it could have make the player feel more like a thief planning home invasion :) Great job !
Oct 3 14:25:01 30m 01s Le Monde de Cortex ♥ 5 Good game with good ideas. Graphics are on point with great mood. But sadly i think the physics is the real enemy here. I abandoned the game because of the spheres. I couldn't manage to get them to there slot :( The piano puzzle is also a great idea but waaaaaay too long. I managed to have like 6 notes in a row, and it wasn't done yet ! I would love to see a more polished / balanced and a little bit easier version of this game, which is already really cool.
Oct 3 14:38:35 13m 34s Bloody Barrels! ♥ 5 Simple yet great, well polished game ! I would like to have more to do besides just finding a key, maybe more steps before getting to the deck? Also i'm a little bit subject to motion sickness and i now have a nice headache, THANKS ! Maybe subtitles could be great for bad english speakers or no sound players, the voice lines are gold. It would be sad that someone don't get it :) Great job !
Oct 3 14:56:27 17m 52s Capitalism vs. Zombies ♥ 5 Amazing game done in 3 days only ! There so much in it. I found the balance a bit weird though, renting a lot, but not earning enough money for real upgrades. I feel like it would be better with more focus on renting mechanic (which is genius considering the theme) and less on difficulty progression that can be a real pain to balance properly. Some sound design on shooting, hurting zombies, or menuing would be nice too ! Really impressive work ! (Tip : To avoid blurry pixel art assets, you should set the sprite "filter mode" to "Point (no filter)")
