| May 3 00:47:24 | Pack 'em UP! | ♥ 2 | Neat entry with a chill vibe. I like that I can make a diamond ring in seconds, but I still can only afford an old pickup truck. =) I couldn't figure out how to make a feather, etc. though, so I never actually fulfilled any deliveries. | |
| May 3 00:56:10 | 8m 46s | Porch Protectors | ♥ 3 | Bravo! I loved the character design and the overall gameplay. It was maybe a little easy, knowing that they all went for the same spot and you could camp out, but it still took some skill to find the culprits. The ending was really and impressive and funny. Awesome job! |
| May 3 01:05:07 | 8m 57s | Haul and Pray | ♥ 2 | Amazing art, sound, and mood, but the mouse events appear to be broken once the game begins. I think the scale is off off or something? I can't click on anything, except an invisible hitbox for the fruit in the middle of the screen. This is on Chrome and Firefox. |
| May 3 01:20:09 | 15m 02s | Oddsburg | ♥ 2 | It took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do, but I did end up finishing it. Very surreal. Loved the atmosphere! |
| May 3 01:27:06 | 6m 57s | It's Gloop! | ♥ 0 | I agree with the other comments that it could use some instructions. I got to the first planet by trial-and-error but after that, I couldn't figure out how to get further. There's an interesting idea in there, though. =) |
| May 3 01:32:06 | 5m 00s | Claw Express DS | ♥ 1 | Interesting mini-game. It was little hard to figure out where the hitboxes were. It might be fun to add more decisions about which items to grab... e.g. maybe you only get 5 tries to grab the best things. Nice work! |
| May 3 01:39:33 | 7m 27s | Messenger Boy | ♥ 2 | Really nice entry. =) I liked the varied mechanics traversing the same territory back-and-forth. And the final journey really elevated the game into something special. Nice work! |
| May 10 04:02:38 | 170h 23m | Goblin Trail | ♥ 2 | This is pretty cool, and a great take on the theme! I like the pixel art and the sound effects. It took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do, and I still didn't totally understand how it worked. I think I wanted more challenge in deciding what to put on the cart. There seems to be a tradeoff of having more people to defend it vs cargo, which is nice. The overall idea has a lot of potential if you wanted to expand it even further (routes to different cities, etc.) Nicely done! |
| May 10 04:15:16 | 12m 38s | Post It! | ♥ 0 | Congrats on finishing your first jam. =) I had to restart a few times because I got stuck in the clouds or I got stuck behind a building, or I couldn't move left after passing the mailbox. But by the 3rd level, I did like the feel of flapping every couple seconds to glide through the air, and hearing my pigeon sounds. I also like the end graphics of the delivered letter. |
| May 10 04:17:39 | 2m 23s | All Odium Needs Is Love! | ♥ 1 | I tried starting this in Firefox and Chrome, but it crashes the tab when the progress bar hits about 80%. |
| May 10 04:30:54 | 13m 15s | Trooper Support | ♥ 0 | I like the setup of having the drill sargeant yelling at you, and the overall intense mood of it, even if it's just a small pixel art game. It would be nice to have some sound effects, especially to go along with the music, which is really good. I delivered (I think) supplies to the NW camp, but I didn't get any feedback on whether it worked or not. Nice work! |
| May 10 04:41:54 | 11m 00s | Micromanager | ♥ 2 | Nice simple gameplay, but it really works for the theme. I definitely felt the time pressure. It's surprising how just racing point-to-point in a maze can be pretty fun. Bug: I got stuck at first in fullscreen, because the map extended off of the left edge of the monitor and I couldn't find the triangle. Also, audio would have added a lot. Otherwise, nice work. =) |
| May 10 04:52:59 | 11m 05s | Deliver us from Evil | ♥ 1 | This is cool! Impressive that you were able to make a solid tactical game in a short time. Hovering over the cards was a bit frustrating as the jumped up and down. Otherwise, great entry! |
| May 10 05:02:44 | 9m 45s | The Ferryman | ♥ 1 | You said you were short on time, but I'm impressed with what you came up with here. The animations and sound all added to the mood, and I really liked the final boatman scene. I didn't explore more than one ending, but the short experience I had was cool and unique. Nice work! |
| May 14 19:08:52 | 110h 06m | Sidequests Only | ♥ 0 | Nice to see a board game submission, and I love the description text, which fits the theme really well. I've never used screentop before. It would be nice to flip through all the cards and maybe have more help text on each card, since the rules are a little hard to imagine without having the actual physical components. Everything was "locked" when I tried it. I think a play-through video would go a long way to help us get a feel for it. It would also be fun to see more focus on "fetch" side-quests, given the jam theme. =) Overall, nice job, and good luck on future versions. =) |
| May 14 19:29:10 | 20m 18s | Dicey Deliveries | ♥ 0 | Nice simple rules that are clearly explained. The grid could use some fun graphics, and you could even include some cut-and-fold dice with fun glyphs on them. I could even see this as a fun game idea for mobile. Nice, quick entry! |
