| May 2 21:22:11 | Zeba's Broke!!!! | ♥ 2 | Screenshot_20230503_000729.png Good job. My friend also wanted to make a Kiki's Delivery-inspired game but he bailed, so it's nice to see the idea come to life after all > What do you think about adding some visual indicator that you’re going slow enough to make max tip? I think this is a bad idea actually. Some things should be left to the player's intuition | |
| May 2 21:46:50 | 24m 39s | Inbox Fool | ♥ 4 | Untitled.png What can I say to you except that you always deliver If you want some critique: while the puzzle mechanic is unique, it feels kinda random to play and doesn't make me feel smart when I clear it. I found it annoying that you have to point and click on the targets after shooting them, since the game gets paused anyway and it could immediately go into the dragging mode. Finally, the game is too polished so it doesn't quite live up to the comedic genius of The Bountiful |
| May 3 21:35:13 | 23h 48m | Deep Space Za | ♥ 0 | It looks really good especially with the awesome CRT filter, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. I explored the entire map, tried pressing various keys and nothing really happened |
| May 3 21:47:30 | 12m 17s | Stork Serenity | ♥ 1 | I'm impressed by the graphics. You really made great use of this almost monochromatic palette and alongside the audio you absolutely nailed the look and feel I'm not sure if there is much to say about the gameplay, although I agree with the previous poster that it wouldn't hurt for the puzzles to be a bit more challenging, even if it wasn't quite the point. Though making good head-scratching puzzles in a compo game is an extracurricular task so don't worry about it |
| May 3 21:51:22 | 3m 52s | Haitatsuin no kaeru | ♥ 4 | Please consider uploading your game to something like [itch.io](https://itch.io) because Godot4 games don't work on the LD site |
| May 3 22:04:45 | 13m 23s | Delivery Witch | ♥ 1 | I see a Jiji's Delivery Service-inspired game, I click. I can say the puzzle was pretty good because I was tunnelvisioned on making the big jump back (until I read about gliding in the controls section). I was disappointed to see it was the only puzzle, but you have a good foundation for a game |
| May 7 21:57:37 | 95h 52m | WitchDelivr | ♥ 2 | Untitled.png I waited until I had over $34. I love the polish and the humor, and the art is gorgeous, but the game lacks something to keep the player going, like multiple stages or a progressive difficulty ramp-up. I understand why you spent more time on PCG though, as it's more fun to make My city was from Blue Archive apparently: Untitled.png |
| May 8 17:55:19 | 19h 57m | Giggle Groove | ♥ 1 | Untitled.png All perfect. I lowkey wish there was a metronome but you can sightread everything with a few minutes of practice. I love the tts |
| May 8 18:36:42 | 41m 23s | Cargo Cove | ♥ 2 | Untitled.png Your buddies can swim beyond the edge of the world Nice entry with awesome visuals (paper cutouts are really smart). Not sure if mines are bugged but they disappear after use until you upgrade them again Untitled2.png |
| May 8 19:52:12 | 1h 15m | Commutator | ♥ 1 | Looks so fun and gives me a few ideas; wish I had a Windows install to play with it. I'd be curious to see how pyautogui works under the hood and whether it uses `SendInput()` on Windows. If that's not why the cursor keeps flying around, I'd hook into it and try something else. Maybe one day |
| May 9 19:12:34 | 23h 20m | Hexpress | ♥ 3 | The music changed and I had no more deliveries, so I think I won...? Did I miss a victory screen? I love constrained palettes and the whole presentation, and I love the idea of using your delivery to fight–it's such an obvious idea in hindsight but I haven't thought of it before, nor seen it in any other game this event. And to top it off, it's about witches. This game is very smooth and a joy to play I think isometric view makes this kind of game a disservice. The way you show the player's head behind objects is clever but also feels weird, and it doesn't extend to mobs. 3D would be ideal, but it would be next to impossible to make a 3D pixel art shader as crisp as your sprites, so I don't really have a solution |
| May 20 01:03:37 | 245h 51m | Don't Chute the Messenger | ♥ 1 | Visually, your interpretation of the board game is absolutely superb and I enjoyed the short story that delivers a message. The gameplay lacks some kind of spin; not a huge fan of dice rolling when it's basically the only mechanic. Great entry |
| May 20 01:19:43 | 16m 06s | Artifact | ♥ 1 | Alright, you defeated me at 21level. I may want to try again later as it's currently 3:20. Right when I thought the game was about to end, you introduced a new mechanic. Insane This is both a successful head-scratcher *and* an impressively polished experience, which is a unicorn on Ludum Dare. My only possible issue is that this kind of puzzler encourages less thinking and more "clicking until it works". |
