Also, the painting worked great with my Wacom (I do lack the skills for great execution though). And it was interesting to see what madness the general public can come up with in such a free space of creativity (didn't encounter anything super wild). Amazing addition to the Jam! I love the mechanics of bullet time and it feels great to be on a roll with bullets flying everywhere ready for grabs and zombies just falling into heaps of dead flesh! | Apr 6 18:28:49 | 10m 05s | They Are Coming | ♥ 3 | Great FPS submission to the jam, the mood is quite excellent, feels a bit dystopic all an all with a soundtrack and art style that makes me think back on the classic adventure games such as Another World and Beneath a Steel Sky. As mentioned earlier the mouse sensitivity was a bit high, not on the x axis but on the y axis (and as the old fart that I am I actually play my FPS's with inverted Y which made it a bit hard, I won't blame you for this though as I know I'm a bit odd with that one!) Even had an emotional impact at the end with the cute little fellah powering down, he did a good job and collected all the artifacts though, so mission well executed! An excellent entry! The game camera was a bit wonky at times though, and I got stuck in a way that I really didn't see much of the action (centering it on the player would have been great). The waves of enemies also suddenly exploded after a short while and your inevitable doom was sure to come soon, which ofc plays into the theme :D Wouldn't mind playing it a bit longer though ;) All in all a great entry! No this was a treat to play, a nice laidback feeling all the way through, even when the game gets a bit stressful the slow music keeps you in balance, the whole experience felt nice and smooth, the graphics are crisp and you learn to play the game fast.
