| Apr 5 13:24:41 | Mulysa | ♥ 1 | I was a bit confused and also scared. The mood was good and it was on theme, but I didn't really understand how all the various pickups worked, why and when I would lose, and how to purposefully delay that other than just picking up random items. | |
| Apr 5 13:33:40 | 8m 59s | Shoal | ♥ 6 | Liked the graphics, and it felt like a warm an fuzzy game. I did seem to lose control (left arrow) at some points, and I'm not entirely sure why? That said, it was a nice game, and a good concept. |
| Apr 5 14:34:24 | 1h 00m | Gone Out | ♥ 3 | Mood, Graphics and Audio were all awesome. Really polished with nice smoke effects, pleasing stick drops, nice lighting. Audio set the tone really very well. Would have been nice if some additional objects were interactable, but time was of course limited. |
| Apr 5 16:23:16 | 1h 48m | Volcano | ♥ 1 | Well that was a lot of fun, real Katamari vibes. Silly in the best possible way. The audio was great, the graphics were great, everything fit together well. Really solid entry. |
| Apr 5 16:35:17 | 12m 01s | No Match | ♥ 2 | I didn't expect this to be as fun as it was, but the polish really sold it. Nice animations and audio. The kind of game you're always looking to challenge yourself to go one better in. |
| Apr 5 16:47:34 | 12m 17s | Don't Do the Dishes! | ♥ 1 | Would have been just as good for the 49th jam (unstable). Really a true to life game though, my sink isn't looking dissimilar. Decent fun and a good challenge. |
| Apr 5 16:55:34 | 8m 00s | Project Memory: Delay Extinction | ♥ 3 | Agreeing with other players here - it was hard to figure out what to do at first, it might be an idea to note on your itch page that you need to click the ranger picture again when the tab's open, that wasn't immediately clear. There's the basis for a really good game here. I can't think of an in the wild conservation game, but it's certainly something I'd be interested in, and this could very easily be expanded on and made into a full release with other animals, environments, etc. It was a good game, nostalgic, top marks. |
| Apr 5 18:49:25 | 1h 53m | Only Hugh Can Prevent Forest Fires | ♥ 1 | Pretty hectic, it looks nice, and it's all pretty smooth. My only criticism would be that prompts should show up only when they can be fulfilled, or a little popup to say what you're doing wrong when you try to douse a fire with no bucket and no water would be great. But this was a good submission and what was there was done well! |
| Apr 5 19:08:29 | 19m 04s | At Least You're Not Extinct Yet | ♥ 1 | So it was good, and a nice bit of silly fun. I can definitely see it working as a premise for a full release. If I were to suggest an improvement, the algorithm could be improved to increase the probability of potential matches based on what's already on the board - I seemed to struggle to get matches after 2nd generation, don't know if that was intentional or if it was just 50/50 and bad luck. It was a good bit of fun though, nicely polished, and a nice ending, so thanks for the submission! |
| Apr 5 19:16:50 | 8m 21s | Hold The Line | ♥ 2 | I really like the idea - updated to take some static troops and different formations this could be a good full release. If I were to make a suggestion to improve it, it would be that there are some returns for killing enemy troops, and those returns are changed based on distance from commander, would help with scaling as the game goes on I think. But pretty polished submission, a good concept, and I think what's there is good! |
| Apr 5 19:21:32 | 4m 42s | The Beast Within | ♥ 2 | Wow. Really good concept and great submission. I think the visuals and the audio are great, and it plays pretty well. A minor suggestion for improvement is that the UI could be a bit clearer. I think this could be done without breaking from the current art style, but given the time constraints are an important feature, the UI for that element should be a bit more prominent. But thanks for the submission, I enjoyed it! |
| Apr 5 19:27:33 | 6m 01s | Human Resource | ♥ 2 | Doing the jobs of 10 people, then getting sacked for underperforming. 10/10 for realism. |
| Apr 5 19:31:57 | 4m 24s | Sir Blackmoon's Nightmare | ♥ 1 | Nice little platformer and a good concept. Agree with another player that the character feels a bit floaty. Feedback would be great, I couldn't figure out how to eat a mushroom. The reaper was getting stuck and would also probably be an idea to have the reaper get distracted by the corpses you leave or something. But the level was good, and I thought it looked nice, was smooth and the music set the mood appropriately. Thanks for the submission! |
