| Apr 5 13:45:58 | DIZT | ♥ 1 | The art style is great. The sound effects too, and the ambience. Fits the theme well. I had a couple of issues with it though. With the web version, you can't move the character, and with the windows version, you can't shoot while running backwards. | |
| Apr 5 21:01:06 | 7h 15m | Cursed Ronin | ♥ 2 | The art is very nice. Fun to play. I liked how the jumping felt very precise, and the delay before the attack introduced some interesting strategy. |
| Apr 5 22:44:55 | 1h 43m | Slime Showdown | ♥ 3 | Great idea. I liked that the end boss was constantly visible. Really added to it. |
| Apr 6 16:18:23 | 17h 33m | Do It Later | ♥ 2 | The art and the music were great. It would be nice if there were a few more tasks to do. |
| Apr 6 16:35:54 | 17m 31s | Old Run | ♥ 2 | The music was really great. The introductory text was pretty funny. I couldn't find the pharmacy, but overall I enjoyed playing it. |
| Apr 6 17:03:45 | 27m 51s | Doomer Pinball | ♥ 1 | The atmosphere was great. I liked the music a lot, it fit very well. The graphics could use a little work though, I was a bit confused at first as to why I was dying, I didn't realize the lives were going down. Maybe indicate that a little more somehow. |
| Apr 6 17:25:21 | 21m 36s | Cute Crumbling Corpse | ♥ 0 | Nice game, the music was nice and soothing, and I liked the monochrome color scheme and art. The idea was very innovative too. It was a bit confusing though, I think it would have helped if things were a little more dynamic. Like when you click on an organ the organ info panel slides out from the side rather than just appearing. It would have been good to have all the organ health numbers constantly visible too, maybe along the top of the screen or something, so that when you are dealing with one organ, you can still keep an eye on the others. I don't know what the "upgrade" or "special" boxes did either. Once I understood what was going on, I enjoyed it. There's a fun game loop here. |
| Apr 6 17:52:03 | 26m 42s | GrimTide: Delay the Inevitable | ♥ 1 | This was fun! It took me a while to understand what was happening though. Maybe flash up a message saying "low resources" or "low stockpiles" or something when you try to build and don't have the required things to do it. That might make it a bit clearer. Overall, once I understood what was happening, I really enjoyed it. Reminded me a lot of minesweeper. The sound effects and music were really great too, they built quite an intense atmosphere. |
| Apr 6 22:18:36 | 4h 26m | Akashica | ♥ 2 | I really liked this game. The concept is great, the ambience is fantastic and the writing is really well done. I liked that you could choose different characters at the start. There was a bit of an annoying bug though, the pages kept repeating themselves, even when I didn't have that book in my inventory. I think it would be nice to have a map in it or something too. |
| Apr 6 22:49:27 | 30m 51s | To be Ageless | ♥ 2 | The atmosphere, music, level design and art, were all really nice. I found the control system pretty janky though. The motion blur is turned up way too high, and the mouse sensitivity is extreme, so every movement of the mouse causes the whole game to blur, like the character is drunk or something. As the other commenters have said, you should really add some screenshots. I basically just downloaded this game at random as there was no way for me to tell what it even was. I think it's good enough that more people should play it. Maybe you could add a bug fix with reduced mouse sensitivity though. |
| Apr 6 23:49:45 | 1h 00m | Wicked Wilds | ♥ 2 | The art was charming, and the music and gameplay were great. It took me about four runs before I figured out what I was doing though, maybe have a button to bring up the controls infographic while playing. |
| Apr 7 02:24:23 | 2h 34m | Stone Sabbath | ♥ 2 | Great game. I loved the music and the retro art style fit very well. I think it would be nice if the enemies de-aggroed as you ran away from them though, rather than chasing you across the map. |
| Apr 7 20:58:34 | 18h 34m | Defence Under Construction | ♥ 2 | I enjoyed this a lot. The shooting felt great, watching hoards of zombies explode into splatters of blood was really satisfying. The music was awesome too, and fit well. It might be nice if their was an indicator pointing in the direction of the zombies though, I kind of just randomly ran back and forth. |
| Apr 7 21:08:38 | 10m 04s | The Inevitable Sinking | ♥ 3 | Nice entry. The music was great, and it was funny seeing all the weird stuff coming at your ship. It did seem to get very difficult at about 120ish seconds in, which is were I lost. Maybe try smoothing out the difficulty curve a bit. |
| Apr 7 21:34:43 | 26m 05s | Nightwaker | ♥ 2 | Nice art and sound! The control system is very innovative too, but could maybe use a little work in terms of how it's implemented. I think there might be something wrong with the web version. It nearly crashed my browser when it changed scene. The windows version was spamming a bunch of errors to the console on scene changes too. |
| Apr 7 22:50:16 | 1h 15m | Aster Defense | ♥ 4 | Fun game. The graphics were really nice. I liked the concept too. I thought the beginning was more difficult than later stages though. Maybe having larger asteroids than can break multiple defences at once might help. |
| Apr 7 22:52:02 | 1m 46s | Click to Continue | ♥ 1 | This was really nice. I didn't know what to expect at all when it started, but the more it went on, the more I wanted to press the button. Loved the ending song too. Great work. |
| Apr 7 23:20:52 | 28m 50s | Eternal Crisis | ♥ 1 | Great idea. I thought the music fit very. The shapes of the enemy ship were interesting and provided for good variety between rounds. |
| Apr 9 14:35:40 | 39h 14m | Norse Punk | ♥ 0 | Nice game. I liked the art. The colors looked really nice, and the music was very good too. |
| Apr 9 15:06:03 | 30m 23s | Darko | ♥ 2 | Great graphics, I like that you included a well thought out tutorial too. |
| Apr 20 15:43:42 | 264h 37m | First Contact | ♥ 1 | Seems like a nice game. Kind of unsure what to do though. I walked around for a while reading the messages provided by the cubes. I couldn't find a way into the cabin or a way to leave the island and get to the other islands. I managed to clip through the cabin wall and enter the boat, then waited in the boat until the rising water pushed me through the roof. I then sailed across to the island with the plateau, but the bridge was broken and I fell to my death as I jumped across. I didn't complete the game. The graphics are very nice, I especially like the way you've done the water and the trees. I can see the outer wilds influence. Maybe things could be a little better signposted though. I might spend some more time with the game later on and give a more in-depth review if I complete it. Overall it seems like a well polished entry, good work. |
