| Oct 5 01:04:03 | Count-Down | ♥ 1 | The game doesn't load for me (firefox, windows), are you sure the WebGL export works? :( | |
| Oct 5 01:25:15 | 21m 12s | Me And My Unicycle | ♥ 2 | AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA the controls are so frustrating, but I managed to beat the game. I had to install the [Visual Studio C++ 2015 redistributable](https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=48145) to make it work, you should include the required libraries in the executable if your engine permits it. |
| Oct 5 01:52:42 | 27m 27s | Understable | ♥ 2 | I didn't understand much in the first few levels, but once we unlock more colors, the way we charge the heart before going through the thorns starts to make sense and the game feels like a puzzle-game. However, the platforming part is very difficult and the controls frustrating, especially the "flappy bird"-like levels. Maybe the relaxing puzzle mechanics aren't a good mix with the jumps. |
| Oct 5 02:23:36 | 30m 54s | Viole(n)t Cooking | ♥ 1 | The graphics are amazing and I love the humor here and there in the book. However, the gameplay is very lacking. The pie chart isn't clear and doesn't update instantly, the game becomes easier over time, and we can easily win by spamming random ingredients. The reset button is also hidden inside the book, it should appear on the screen when we lose or be bound to the R key. |
| Oct 5 14:10:22 | 11h 46m | Derpy the Unicorn | ♥ 6 | I successfully destroyed the golden unicorn temple and joined the party. I will now reevaluate my life choices. LD49_wFRqMF9tRK.png |
| Oct 5 14:49:53 | 39m 31s | Un-Stable | ♥ 0 | Smashing everything with a fast horse sounds fun, however the controls make it nearly impossible. We can't go too fast since there's walls, corners and small corridors everywhere and the reverse is **very slow**. Having to restart the level from the beginning and watch the cutscenes again as soon as we're seen by anyone is pretty annoying too. A fast and difficult to control character doesn't mix well with infiltration gameplay. That being said, I like the unstable idea and the graphics are pretty neat! |
| Oct 5 16:47:21 | 1h 57m | UnstaBall | ♥ 0 | I couldn't extract the game, both zip files seem to be corrupted. 😢 Edit: thanks for fixing the download link, the game's pretty nice and I love the sound atmosphere. :D |
| Oct 5 17:12:10 | 24m 49s | Unstable Ruins | ♥ 1 | Damn, you made so many levels! I finally got to the out of time one. Most levels were pretty straightforward, but some of them were very difficult since they required precise jumps. I really like that the ring and the timer are optional objectives, it allows us to decide if we want to retry until perfection or just skip to the next level. |
| Oct 5 18:07:53 | 55m 43s | Chemical Love | ♥ 2 | Starting from a specific chapter would make it easier to unlock all endings, having to do the first days every time gets repetitive! However, I'm glad I did them all, because the true ending was worth the wait. |
| Oct 5 18:33:39 | 25m 46s | Shaky Shack | ♥ 4 | Beautiful graphics! The game gets a bit repetitive over time and the gameover isn't as explosive as I expected, but I had fun flipping through the pages and checking the same ingredients 100 times overall. |
| Oct 14 01:12:53 | 198h 39m | Covid Defence | ♥ 1 | The web version doesn't load and the windows version doesn't work either. :( ``` **ERROR**: Failed to load one of the API assemblies. At: modules/mono/mono_gd/gd_mono.cpp:967:_load_api_assemblies() - FATAL: Method failed. ``` |
| Oct 14 22:16:03 | 21h 03m | Noyau Instable | ♥ 1 | A cool idea that sadly lacks polishing or better execution as of now. Could definitely become a much better game in the future however, you were probably limited by the 72 hours! I agree with @joel-davis, looking around and selecting objects with the mouse would make much more sense, the keyboard controls are inadequate. I also agree with @itsboats, either color-coding the tools or displaying which tool is required on the warning sign would make it easier to know where to go. We move a bit too slowly for the size of the map, most of my time was spent walking the long corridor. Maybe adding a way to run or moving the rooms closer would solve this problem? The dustbin at the center of the corridor is not really required either, we just need a way to discard a tool, it's not like throwing a screwdriver on the ground will make anything explode. The sirens were cool at the beginning but since you basically hear them 24/7, they get veeeery repetitive. 3d positional audio would make a ton of difference already: it'll allow us to know where the issue is and reduce the volume of far-away alarms. Different sounds for the different issues would make it even better. The lights are a bit glitchy on my side, but I'm not sure if it's just me. :o lightning.jpg |
