Apr 26 17:03:36 LLYULANG ♥ 1 The challenge and learning curve is what I was desperately missing in my own game. This fills a void in my heart, thanks :)
Apr 27 01:37:39 8h 34m grGRIDid ♥ 1 1. I do think iso perspective is cool here, but input mapping is off by 45 degrees. Arrow keys give me N,S,E,W, but the view shows me NE, NW, SE, and SW, so often I hit the wrong key first. 2. The concept is mind bending, and I love the idea and the ambiance and the music. 3. Regarding the rotation ambiguity. It seems clear that a tile-set can be rotated to a finite set of possible rotations given a specific player position and direction, however these 3 pieces of key info are left to guess-work. If this was a time-limited thing, fine. But I would recommend adding indicators for these 3 items, either visually or with audio, as well as considering some sort of reasoning or motivation behind these constraints.
Apr 27 02:54:06 1h 16m Deep Sea Discoveries ♥ 1 It's a solid little game ! When I play it I think of things I could do for cheap to spice things up, like altering color of the water or the fish behavior as you get further down.
Apr 27 03:19:23 25m 17s Super Drill Boy ♥ 1 Really great input and character design. Bring on some more levels !
Apr 27 03:34:14 14m 51s Depth Seilor ♥ 2 This is awesome ! Simple input scheme, interesting mechanics, decent challenge. Only request is that you double check the github link. Looks like an empty repo, and I'm curious to the source, because it looks like you rolled your own engine for this one. Very impressive !
Apr 27 04:40:05 1h 05m Pix'in' ♥ 1 It's super cool, and kudos for making your own engine. That's a lot of C code. I actually tried recompiling the source, but I realized the input scheme I desire would be a bit of an overhaul. Ideally I'd like the up arrow to move my pixel up, left to the left, and so on. None of this, counter clockwise nonsense. But hey otherwise this thing was pretty cool, and fulfilled the part of me that was hoping for an into the black hole experience. Cheers !
