| Apr 28 02:25:39 | Not Really Righting Reflex | ♥ 2 | I really enjoyed the fact that you are CAT exploring a dungeon. The gameplay was good. It was a little repetitive, so maybe you could increase the speed the farther down you get? If you did have the speed increasing, it wasn't enough for me to notice. Also, there are some obstacles that are the same color as the background. I think if these obstacles were made a different color it would be easier to identify. Other than that really good job!!! Almost forgot... I think the music cuts out after you play for a while. | |
| Apr 28 02:43:52 | 18m 13s | ARG: Journey for the Sushitos | ♥ 1 | Your game took a very different take on the deeper and deeper theme. I liked it! You did really good on making it humorous and the world was fun to explore. Loved beating up the rat dummy. The only thing I see that could be improved is the audio. I don't know if it was just me, but when I got to the place with the mining tracks the wind was really harsh. Overall, pretty good game!!! |
| Apr 28 02:59:37 | 15m 45s | GRIMM | ♥ 4 | You did a really good job with the title screen graphics! I liked how the longer you played the more hectic the music got. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but it helped create the mood. The only thing I would change is the jump height. Whenever you pressed the W key the character jumped REALLY high. I kept bumping my head on the bottoms of blocks, so it was just kind of annoying. Other than that, good game!!! |
| Apr 28 03:13:24 | 13m 47s | Digging In | ♥ 2 | I've been looking for this game, and I finally found it again! You guys did really good on the graphics, it felt very professional and polished. The gameplay wasn't bad either. The only thing I had trouble with was when you hit something and the camera jerks really hard, it's difficult to figure out what's happening to your machine. I also noticed that you can get stuck in a circle of rocks where there is no way to escape because you keep bouncing off of them. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it is pretty frustrating when this happens, so maybe there is a way to control the spacing of the rocks from each other??? Anyways, really good job! Loved the cats and the graphics! |
| Apr 30 01:02:07 | 45h 48m | The Pit | ♥ 1 | I didn't rate your game because when I opened the exe file I was stuck on the Godot logo the whole time, and I could hear music. |
| Apr 30 01:11:59 | 9m 52s | This is DEEPER | ♥ 2 | Nice game. I enjoyed the beginning animation when you get kicked off by your buddy. At first I thought you were supposed to avoid all the little clouds on the way down, so maybe there is a way to make it more obvious that you those don't hurt you. Also, it could use some music to go with the sound effects. Good job! |
| Apr 30 02:06:19 | 54m 20s | The Adventures of John Drillman | ♥ 3 | Nice tunneling game. I love the little "Oh no" that happens when you die. I think that the collision is a bit unfair sometimes and you might consider adding some music with the sound effects. Other than that, good game! |
| Apr 30 02:15:44 | 9m 25s | Lost Poem | ♥ 2 | Loved the interesting take on the deeper and deeper theme! The artwork was really well done and the gameplay was better than some of the other falling games. I think if you made the background scroll at a different speed than the obstacles that hurt you it might make it easier to visually distinguish the obstacles versus background. At first, I was having trouble figuring out what not hit, so I would have benefitted from a better visual indication. Overall, very cool game. Good job!!! |
| Apr 30 02:30:27 | 14m 43s | The Deepest Booze | ♥ 1 | I'm so glad I stuck it out to the end. This game was really different from a lot of the other takes on the deeper and deeper theme in a good way. The art was well done, and the storyline was also interesting. Loved how you got to name yourself something random at the beginning... and the CATS!!! Thank you for making this! Good job! |
| Apr 30 02:41:50 | 11m 23s | The purpose of a worm | ♥ 2 | Nice take one the deeper and deeper theme. The artwork and animation style were done very well. I felt like the collision in some places was a little wonky, I had trouble getting up a couple of the branches of the tree. Other than that, I think your game was pretty good. It was funny how you actually had to get higher and higher to hear the deep truth of the moon. Nice bedtime story mood. Good job! |
| Apr 30 03:19:37 | 37m 47s | Burst Vein | ♥ 0 | I played this game for the longest time yet. It took me forever to find all the clues for the door combination, but once I got into the mines it started getting pretty interesting. The jump scare where the skeleton popped out of the locker got me really bad, I wasn't expecting it at all. After that, I was a little more cautious in the mines. I really liked the final scene where you go into the final door. Nice ending. The only thing I might suggest is to make it easier to get into the mine because I almost gave up. Also, I kept wanting to climb the ladders, so it might be better either to remove them, or make them climbable. Overall, really interesting game. Good job! |
| Apr 30 03:40:37 | 21m 00s | Dr. Deeper | ♥ 2 | Hi, the visuals looked great though I did have a hard time at first finding portals. I was intrigued by the use of lwjgl....our programmer @funemaker built his engine with it and our game was made with it. Are you using your own engine? |
