| May 1 13:28:17 | Holy Moly | ♥ 0 | I love it! It's honestly pretty addicting and the music is awesome! Especially the pacing and difficulty are really well done! | |
| May 1 13:56:28 | 28m 11s | Sprookies | ♥ 2 | I like the concept, but I feel like the fact that the entire game restarts when you die and the long transitions between levels make it pretty frustrating to play. But I think the music is pretty good! |
| May 1 20:00:04 | 6h 03m | into the cabal | ♥ 2 | Interesting game! I liked the athmosphere and mood as well as the simple graphics (especially the flame!). The music could use a bit of work though (It doesn't loop well). As others have pointed out, the text fades out a little too fast, which makes it difficult to read the hints. I also liked the maze puzzle, even though I feel like you have to go through one extra room in the circle, which makes it a little confusing. Overall, good job! |
| May 1 21:24:12 | 1h 24m | Diving Ball | ♥ 1 | The sound design here is really really good! Definitely adds to the atmosphere. The controls are smooth and fun to mess around with. The game could use more varied obstacles or something to encourage you to keep moving around, since staying near walls and doing nothing seems like the best strategy. There's a lot of potential! |
| May 2 00:07:12 | 2h 43m | Conduit | ♥ 1 | This game is really well done! It honestly feels like a finished and polished product. The puzzles are really clever and challenging, especially the last one which I spent at least 30 minutes trying to solve. I felt so smart when I finally figured it out! I loved the music and the simple graphics as well as the additional challenges (I tried getting them all, but gave up after about 5 because it was a bit too much for me). The only thing I found annoying was that one puzzle where you can't see what you're doing, but other than that, I can't think of anything to criticize. Good job! |
| May 3 20:19:52 | 44h 12m | Destroyer Dave | ♥ 1 | I liked the simple graphics, but the gameplay was a little lacking. The game could really use some kind of scoring system, or level counter. The game also sometimes got stuck after you defeated all the enemies, stopping you from proceeding (not sure why). But pretty good for your first LD entry! I think you can make something with this! :) (Don't forget to rate some more games to get more ratings!) |
| May 3 21:26:48 | 1h 06m | Shiny Depths | ♥ 1 | Good game! I managed to get to a depth of 42. It was going pretty well for me, but then the elevator decided to leave without me, so I was stuck (pretty sure that's a bug). I liked the clever survival mechanics that really kept you on your toes every time you went into the mines, as well as the different materials you could get. It required a lot of strategy and I ended up playing the game for way longer than I expected. The only things I would change would be to make the controls a bit more responsive (sometimes it's hard to tell in what direction you're mining) and balance it to make it a bit less punishing. Your health drops really fast once you get pretty deep, and there aren't enough resources (or are weirdly spread out) to make it feel like you're making progress. I think this would be a great game with just a bit more polish and balancing! |
| May 3 22:30:09 | 1h 03m | Depths of Darvaza | ♥ 1 | I liked this game a lot! Good job on the audio, story, voice acting, graphics and challenge variety. The controls were a bit slippery as others have mentioned, but overall the game was pretty polished. I got really confused by the ending though. After you defeat the boss and finish the dialogue on the platform behind him, the level just restarts. And when I go up and then back down, the game crashes. I'm not sure if that's how it ends, or if I'm missing something. Other than that, good job! |
| May 3 23:06:17 | 36m 08s | I Stole a Wizard's Sack and All I Got Was This Lousy Infinite Pocket Universe | ♥ 0 | Really fun (and funny) little game! I liked the interpretation of the theme as well as the clever puzzles. It's so confusing but it feels really satisfying to figure them out. Also the audio, graphics and overall atmosphere was really whimsical and cartoony and I liked that a lot (although I think the walking sound was a bit annoying). Maybe also being able to peek into the sacks before entering them would be nice (to avoid getting stuck all the time :D). Good job! |
| May 4 17:07:05 | 18h 00m | The Fool's Descent | ♥ 1 | Pretty fun game! I liked the emergent gameplay with the fire and I think you can really build on that. Maybe the dungeon changing a little bit when you return to it would be nice, since walking through the same place multiple times gets a bit boring. Other than that, good job! |
| May 5 12:23:01 | 19h 15m | Line | ♥ 0 | Not bad! There's enough hazards to keep it interesting and the line mechanic is pretty unique. It felt a little repetitive though. It would be nice if the world changed a bit more as you descend (I only got to around 400 m, so there's a chance I missed something). It would also be nice to have more ways to interact with the line. Maybe grab it and pull it down with you when on a platform or something like that to give you a bit more control. Overall, good job! |
| May 5 14:47:31 | 2h 24m | A Dungeon | ♥ 3 | I really liked the graphics and level design in this one. Also, the controls felt really responsive, although a bit limiting. The game lacked some sort of gimmick that would differentiate it from other platformers, but even without it the game was pretty fun and offered a surprising amount of challenges. It didn't feel too difficult with the checkpoints but still kept you on your toes. Good job! |
| May 5 18:25:43 | 3h 38m | apocalypse of darkness wonderful nightmare | ♥ 0 | This game is awesome! I love the chaotic but simple aesthetic you went for as well, and the music is absolutely deserving of the soundcloud tag. The game kinda reminds me of some of cactus' stuff. The enemies and mechanics were all pretty unique and challenging and there was a bunch of fun visual details, like the explosions and the wavelength of your attack getting shorter the longer you hold it. You clearly had fun with it! I also liked the roll dodge mechanic, although it felt kinda useless. I'd be nice if the combat and levels were more designed around it. Other than that, this is a masterpiece! Good job! |
| May 5 20:40:13 | 2h 14m | No matter how deep you are I will find you and revenge my kitty | ♥ 1 | What a funny and fun game! It's really satisfying to throw stuff around (the physics made it really fun) and the mechanic of singing on lights is pretty unique. I liked the dialogue and cutscenes a lot, but it would be nice if you could skip them. Other than that, I really enjoyed it! |
| May 18 15:23:58 | 306h 43m | Clown Pup | ♥ 0 | Very cute! I loved the art and cutscenes and the atmosphere in general. It was a little confusing to play, since there was very little feedback to what the player is doing. Things also happen very suddenly so I'd be nice to have some slower transitions or something so the player has time to see what they did. Maybe with some more animations and puzzles this could be a really cool point and click adventure game! |
