Everything works together - the art style, the animations, the color palette. The puzzle mechanics were well thought-out and consistent. I really dug the idea of the race against time, balancing the need to pick up powerups early on so you can blast your way through further in. Even without sound I really got that sense of urgency. Others have already mentioned the movement rate limit and perhaps the idea of keeping the edge columns clear so you are not surprised when you are not able to wrap around, but otherwise I really had a great time. Great aesthetics. I think I probably needed a bit more hand-holding at the start to really be able to lean into the experience.... I wanted to keep progressing and discover more of the mechanics, but wasn't able to. :P |

I don't want to spoil it for others but I became very proficient with three-sided shapes thanks to my amphibious friend. :) I might have lowered the incidence of empty squares on the board - 40% of the time you're just kind of clicking through, which is fine at the start but gets a little long further on. Great game, thanks for sharing! |
