| Oct 7 19:14:22 | It goes on and on and on Dungeon | ♥ 1 | Neat game! However the word "swipe" really confused me at the start, maybe some further explanation of the mechanic would be nice. I just kept doing a short swipe (like on a phone) which meant that the knight would just go straight so I could beat the first level for a while. | |
| Oct 7 19:21:39 | 7m 17s | ギ Improvisation “恒久 ”회전 | ♥ 2 | Gotta love the 7eleven A E S T H E T I C Some more different game modes would be nice |
| Oct 7 19:28:38 | 6m 59s | Metamorph | ♥ 1 | Great idea, but I think it needs a lot more polish. For example I managed to get stuck in the ground after a big jump, or buffer many jump inputs on a wall to fly super high |
| Oct 7 20:54:37 | 1h 25m | Magmania | ♥ 1 | The most fun one I've played so far! Super chaotic! Only suggestion I have is making the building/printing more clear. The other things are pretty simple: Repair something, collect something. But at the start I had no idea what I was doing with the building. |
| Oct 7 23:00:40 | 2h 06m | BULLETS FROM THE PAST | ♥ 2 | Great idea, stunning art and soothing music! Very well made game! The only nitpicks I have is that there seems to be a bug where your bullets pass through enemies if you are too close to them, and the health bar being hard to see in later rounds (which is also kind of fun). The balancing is also pretty solid. From the premise you would think that there is some easy way to min-max this. However I didn't find the one way to completely cheese it and get an infinite highscore. But I got quite far, so here are some interesting thoughts I had: First of all, in this game you truly are your worst enemy. So I just avoided shooting as much as I could, except for when enemies where very close. Using leftover health to take shots for your future self can also work, but it doesn't seem very meaningful later on... Another trick is to keep moving in simple patterns so that you can later predict where safe spaces are. I also tried to move as little as possible and generally stayed at the edge of the map. The last trick I found was spinning violently when not shooting. This means that you can tell that a past self is about to shoot when he stops spinning, so you can watch out for that. I hope this didn't come across as weird. I'm just genuinely surprised as to how long the game hooked my attention. Current Highscore: 32 |
| Oct 8 14:33:59 | 15h 33m | Loopy Glitch | ♥ 1 | Pretty cool! I see you had a similar idea to me, letting the last level loop back to the first. But since this game has a hint of story, I think the aspect of a meta loop could be explored further |
| Oct 8 14:45:36 | 11m 37s | Sasha | ♥ 0 | The idea and execution are super neat! Shame that it's only so short. Only advice I have is making the text go a bit faster upon clicking again. I would personally also prefer if everything was addressed as "the" instead of "a", but maybe that's just me. Apart from that the atmosphere is definitely there, so please keep going! |
| Oct 10 13:26:10 | 46h 40m | Among The Stars | ♥ 2 | Nice concept, remidns me of Super Hexagon I think it needs work on the collision though, it isn't always clear when you'll get hit. Also for the jump maybe have an indicator on the other side to see where you'll end up? |
| Oct 10 13:34:50 | 8m 40s | Dizzy Ryder | ♥ 2 | Simple concept, seemingly inspired by some mobile games? But It was actually pretty fun! I thought it was kinda slow in general though, especially if you end up at the bottom with no speed... Maybe you could have some powered rails that makes the carts go fast? Or some other way to give them a boost? Also its sometimes hard to tell where they will go, when two rails overlap |
| Oct 10 14:08:16 | 33m 26s | i++ | ♥ 1 | Got pretty hard at the end there.. lvl 48 made me almost quit. But you can't beat 49, right??? At first the scrolling was a bit confusing, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I also liked how you gradually introduced new elements and ramped up the difficulty. But there were also easier level later on, so really good pacing! The only negative thing I found was that the movement is a bit too slippery for my taste. Overall one of the best games I played yet, I think this would go great with some narrative, maybe go for something like "Thomas Was Alone"? Also I could see this in speedrunning EDIT: Secrets or backtracking could also be fun. I really think you should continue this! |
| Oct 10 16:02:06 | 1h 53m | Spinnerets | ♥ 1 | Fun party game but I agree with others that the rotation is a bit slow sometimes... Also super cute visuals! Reminds me of https://store.steampowered.com/app/1390350/Webbed/ |
| Oct 18 17:55:11 | 193h 53m | Loop Lab | ♥ 2 | I think some small indication on what can be clicked would be nice, to get into it quicker Also I'm not sure if this is intended or not... but the solution to most puzzles for me was to just have a super short loop (sometimes at the right time, or to release it at the right time) so it was kind of easy tbh |
