Apr 21 14:25:27 Jeffrey the Turtle ♥ 1 Nice take on the theme, even though turtles don't really care for their young in real live ;). I got a bit annoyed with the wonky controls, though. See me finishing the main game but giving up on the bonus level: https://youtu.be/M5VlXhreGYo
Apr 21 14:36:42 11m 15s Alfred's Box ♥ 0 I especially loved the Lovecraft vibes in the end cards. Well done. See me barely making it through: https://youtu.be/zws3w5sGufM
Apr 21 15:01:47 25m 05s Haiku, and the Mother Virus ♥ 0 As many people have said, it is visually stunning and reminds me of Super Crate Box in the best of ways. See me slowly figuring out that the best strategy is actually just standing in the corner πŸ˜† https://youtu.be/FQmq8Sj0hOI
Apr 21 15:11:03 9m 16s Spikey ♥ 1 I loved it so much I played through it twice. But why, oh why do I have to make Spikey sad? See me struggling with the inverted controls (relative ti what I am used to): https://youtu.be/Z4eFj-DJaTQ
Apr 21 18:13:03 3h 02m Mushie ♥ 1 I really loved the moody art and music and had great fun playing it. See me missing the moving platform: https://youtu.be/lctd9w48ufs
Apr 21 18:31:51 18m 48s The Last Flame ♥ 1 Love the art! I made it to wave 5 but died in that one. For me the sword motion was a little weird, I get into details in the video. See me failing your game πŸ™ https://youtu.be/7_Ot89v5cac
Apr 21 18:57:44 25m 53s Dragon Drop ♥ 2 I. LOVE. THIS. GAME. Everything about it is awesome. The satisfying puzzle concept, the cute art, the puzzles, that introduced me in the perfect pace and then got just the right level of challenging, the story of a dragon hospital for itty bitty dragons. If you can keep this up for 100 levels I will buy it for my phone πŸ˜„ See me (metaphorically) scratching my head: https://youtu.be/rZNARNR5Pnw
Apr 21 19:12:31 14m 47s Soulbound ♥ 0 After some initial trouble with some keydown or keyup events not working it started to work perfectly. At which point I had tons of fun. The art and music create just the right mood for the setting and the gamepley feels snazzy. To make the game even cooler it just needs soume sound-efects and maybe the souls being sucked into the actual flame. Also I don't think the 'falls down once, comes back stronger, falls back twice, you dead' mechanic mentioned in the beginning is actually in there. If it is, it is broken Se me slaying the skulls and demons: https://youtu.be/TP4PI58u3O0
Apr 29 18:46:17 191h 33m Feeding Time! ♥ 1 This would have been a perfect fit for "make a violent genre non-violent" as well. Awesome job! See me making the kittens happy here (I assumed your nickname is German): https://youtu.be/JY7wyah9fJY
Apr 29 18:55:08 8m 51s SlugBall ♥ 0 This was a lot of fun, music sound effects and visuals harmonize awesomely! The controls were a tiny bi off, though, especially in the last level. See me killing way to many researchers: https://youtu.be/kwkPT4Lu-_Q
Apr 29 19:13:04 17m 56s Burned by the Poi ♥ 1 The concept is cool, I love the cisuals, the music, even the hauting sounds of the cats. However I could never 100% warm up to the controls and I also could not figure out what I actually need to do in order to progress. Se me flailing wildly: https://youtu.be/mq6elJgLT4w
Apr 29 19:30:23 17m 19s Saving Iyla ♥ 3 Absolutely love the art style! The story was a roller coaster of emotions and brilliantly executed for this short timeframe. The controls were a bit sluggish hovever, I got weirdly stuck in falling state or was walking inside the ground multiple times. Also I could have done without the ******* ghosts. See me failing to turn on my microphone 🀦 https://youtu.be/y5fydwrZDa4
Apr 29 19:49:47 19m 24s The Lonely Tree ♥ 1 I really liked the minimalistic art style. The gun handling also felt pretty great. The game lacks variation after a short while, but that is normal for LD Games. I also think that bigger impact effects or a health bar for the enemies would be cool (maybe use the eye-light?) See me circle strafing: https://youtu.be/o3vMJQ5CzYI
Apr 29 19:58:15 8m 28s Keep It Alive! ♥ 1 I like a game where the main challenge is mastering the controls, and the graphics, sounds and funny intros in this one work great! However, I feel that small changes would make this game more interesting: a) more fuel, I felt that the low amount of fuel actually discouraged moving, but you want the player to master moving instead of avoiding it b) player sticks to platforms, again, make the player move, landing on a platform should allow for a brief period of rest/re-fueling but also move you around so you have to compensate c) permanent spikes at the bottom, just landing on the bottom was way to easy See me bumbling around until I notice the easy way exists: https://youtu.be/v7SeO8iHW2M
Apr 29 20:13:59 15m 44s Cubic Currency ♥ 0 This feels really satisfying to play, there is something about it that makes each sale feel just so good. I also loved the Aesthetics and Setting similar to Papers-Please. I think the balancing is off, though, it was really easy. Also I think it does not adapt to different screen-ratios correctly. See me splitting dice until the screen almost overflows: https://youtu.be/fUtvYYuME1E
Apr 29 21:43:39 1h 29m Agewalker ♥ 1 Amazing! The Art style is awesome, makes it feel like GameBoy times. The gameplay is solid. The Story is a little bit clichΓ© but cool enough to make me want to know more. I especially loved all the details off the main path, sometimes with additional skills to find and sometimes just with lore (The Scarecorw). See me slaying slimes and ghosts: https://youtu.be/Zsu2znXPSK8
Apr 29 22:10:13 26m 34s Inanis ♥ 1 🎢 Dashing through the void with a circle by my side through enemies we go defeating them alright 🎢 The boss has bullet spam but I can just respawn collect more coins, buy more upgrades defeat the boss at dawn 🎢 --- ok, this makes about as much sense as your story, but I felt like you might enjoy it. The game feels awesome and I am a big fan of silly 4th wall breaks. The only bummer for me was that beating the boss seemed to be less a factor of skill and more of the number of upgrades you bought. See me laughing at your silly jokes: https://youtu.be/lxlmV5EJGrs
Apr 29 22:24:24 14m 11s WormsWorms ♥ 0 I like that ammo and food are the same thing. The game also plays awesomely and the cute graphics fit perfectly. I only disliked that you basically loose once the small birds reach the field, because then they block your ammo. Or maybe I just sucked at the game πŸ˜„ I knew it would happen some day... I don't think I can compete with @jupiter-hadley , but maybe my longer gameplay session can give you some additional insights πŸ˜… https://youtu.be/mqW8ggFoR_Q
Apr 29 22:39:05 14m 41s Synergy ♥ 1 The gameplay is really solid! Well done. I also like how you incorporated the theme into the game mechanics. My only critique point is that it ramps up pretty slow, I would prefer a steeper difficulty curve, See me trying but ultimately failing to keep my W.I.S.P. alive https://youtu.be/F9mEveyjmnw
Apr 29 23:17:22 38m 17s Elnelis ♥ 2 This was a lot of fun but also frustrating at parts. It took me a couple of tries to really get it. But it felt really good to finally beat the boss! Some Checkpoints or some way to heal myself would go a long way to make it a little more forgiving. I love the art style, it is simple and cute but still conveys the dangers and tragedy of the corruption, really well done! I had trouble shooting with the mouse, the arrows seemed to fly less far than with the game pad, so my aim with mouse was always off. Beat the game with game pad. See me struggling not to curse when dying for awat felt like the millionth time: https://youtu.be/VcWM7Tb8BUg
