| Apr 20 08:48:30 | Light from a star | ♥ 1 | Nicely worked out entry! I like the hand drawn art and the little flourishes in the menu. I was sadly unable to get to the endgame (possibly because I am just too inept to control the shadows :P) to see if the quality persists, but you sure make very good impression. Well done :) | |
| Apr 20 09:11:40 | 23m 10s | What a horrible night... | ♥ 0 | You got a lovely, consistent art style here and good twist on the theme. I am missing a bit of feedback/guidance for when the different attacks actually connect (especially bite, since it appears to be crucial for survival). All in all, a solid entry! |
| Apr 20 09:31:12 | 19m 32s | Crossing Animals | ♥ 1 | Well done! The photo capture is a very nice touch. Cute, simple, polished and to the point. |
| Apr 20 09:40:17 | 9m 05s | Don't Lose Familiar | ♥ 1 | Nice pixel art with an interesting mechanic. Sometimes, I did not have enough time to react to new threats in the time between them becoming visible and reaching my familiar, but I guess that is where practice comes in. |
| Apr 20 10:13:27 | 33m 10s | The Room - Keep it Alive | ♥ 0 | Very atmospheric and creepy. I was not entirely sure about what was expected of me and whether the result was good or bad. I like the intent, but as Nikita already mentioned, you have used non-original audio and your source code is missing, so I can only submit a rating if you apply for the Jam instead. |
| Apr 20 10:24:27 | 11m 00s | An Eggscelent Farmer | ♥ 2 | Lovely upbeat game and left me wanting more. Nice, clean artwork and audio. You could speed up the player a bit more, but this is a good entry. |
| Apr 20 10:33:24 | 8m 57s | Just A Throw Away | ♥ 1 | Nice twist on the theme and I do like your character art, your game is sadly hamstrung by its controls and camera bugs. I got stuck a few times where I think I got control of a body, but the camera kept focusing on the exit. I can see where you are going for and would have liked to play it properly. Just as a tip, you are allowed to fix your controls (and other game breaking bugs) after the deadline as per the rules. |
| Apr 20 10:43:17 | 9m 53s | Robotree | ♥ 1 | Impressive visuals and robot animations. I appreciated you thought about the pacifist route as well. Nice entry and, although short and light on content, I surely had fun with it. Well done! |
| Apr 20 10:52:41 | 9m 24s | An ocean's life | ♥ 0 | That intro! I was so pleasantly surprised. The gameplay is simple and to the point. I do not think I have any chance to keep the sea clean in this game, if that would be possible. The atmospheric effects are a nice touch as well. I am missing a feedback mechanic that indicates I am doing the right thing, especially since the nuclear waste takes a long time to process. Well done! |
| Apr 20 12:49:43 | 1h 57m | Control Room | ♥ 1 | Although a bit puzzling at times, mainly due to the confusion about what a button is and what is not, I like the balancing act you have to do. The art is minimal, but brings its point across just fine. Good work! |
| Apr 20 13:00:50 | 11m 07s | Block Maze | ♥ 0 | Nice simple maze game, you have made a good decision to go for the discrete movement instead of letting the player drive the car around these narrow passages. It always makes me smile when people record their own sound effects as well. It would be nice if the player could make their driving direction a bit more intentional, but otherwise a good entry. |
| Apr 20 13:13:56 | 13m 06s | Karmagotchi - A virtual friend | ♥ 1 | Good entry, I like how cohesive this game is: the art, music and gameplay all feed properly into the upbeat theme of keeping a pet alive. I was unable to get the ball to work as reliably as petting, even though the former looked like more fun to use. But even still, like a previous commenter said, great execution. |
| Apr 20 13:41:27 | 27m 31s | Keep the light alive | ♥ 1 | Excellent game! You got a lovely little puzzler here and getting it finished in time is no small feat. There were a few times I was stumped, but overall a good challenge. Pushing the blocks around is a bit finnicky though. I would have preferred just grid based movement, so I could focus on the puzzles themselves some more, but that is only a small gripe compared to the fun I had playing this. Well done :) |
| Apr 20 14:59:30 | 1h 18m | Treeblocks | ♥ 1 | Good grief, this game is intense. I like the puzzley resource management you got going on. Sometimes things do get flashing around a lot and the music is a bit too much, but you got a good time-waster on your hands! I can easily see this being upgraded to a full-fledged mobile or web game. Job well done! |
| Apr 20 15:20:33 | 21m 03s | Curie | ♥ 0 | Good entry, especially considering your experience. The sounds get a little bit grating after a while and somehow I managed to tunnel through the arena border, but apart from that you got a nice game here :) |
| Apr 20 15:29:50 | 9m 17s | Exosphere | ♥ 1 | A nice minimalist game in both art and sound, making it very pleasing to the eye. The gameplay gets tough quite fast and do not think I am good enough to reach the end, but I still had fun. Nice job! |
| Apr 20 17:24:59 | 1h 55m | ..at any cost | ♥ 2 | Good entry, I like the setting and the switch maze you have built. That said, I missed countless jumps, forward jumps and ledge grabs, so my main critique would be the unforgiving controls, at least for someone like me. That said, even with the tricky movement, I wanted to at least complete the game, so you got me hooked properly :) Well done! |
