| May 2 22:44:56 | APawcalypse | ♥ 1 | I really like the voxel look. Gameplay-wise, I'd have preferred that either muniton is endless or keeping the mouse pressed still shoots (it did not for me) | |
| May 2 22:47:37 | 2m 41s | Keep It Alive | ♥ 0 | I won't give a rating since the game did not run for me. I opened it and the window remained black: Windows 10 Nvidia 1080 4K resolution |
| May 2 22:51:41 | 4m 04s | Immortality of Pain | ♥ 0 | I really like the voice narration! Also, the game mechanic is simple but yet genius. Reminds me of rogue-likes. The only annoying thing I found was that dying replays the initial narration. |
| May 2 22:56:30 | 4m 49s | Keep Your Distance | ♥ 1 | Great concept. This just shows how "mechanics first" wins every gamejam! |
| May 2 22:59:46 | 3m 16s | Ludum Dare 46 | ♥ 1 | Nice pixel art look. Please keep in mind that not all people have arrow keys. for example, I use a 60% layout mechanical keyboard and would prefer additional WASD movement. |
| May 2 23:22:38 | 22m 52s | Forest Frenzy | ♥ 1 | Wow. Amazing that you did this in such a short time! |
| May 9 17:49:18 | 162h 26m | Beacon in the Dark | ♥ 1 | Very cool game concept. A combination of Command&Conquer and Tower Defense. Plus points: Graphics, Controls, UI, To improve: energy management is a bit confusing, also some things are not very intuitive from the start. However, once you learn what is expected from you it becomes quite straight forward! |
| May 9 18:02:22 | 13m 04s | Terminal | ♥ 0 | Great adventure. After a couple of minutes I started to dive into the world, imagining the rooms etc. I played this game on a 4K display, so the window itself was super tiny. A fullscreen option would be preferable. Also, sometimes my inputs were not recognised, I don't know why? I had to spam ENTER for my commands to be recognised. Overall, I am very impressed. I actually got excited finding different... things on the floor :) maybe adding sound effects/ambient score to improve the mood? maybe even just terminal noises would help immensely. Great job! |
| May 9 18:15:07 | 12m 45s | Cat Kingdom | ♥ 1 | Interesting concept. Unfortunately, the game crashes when launching via itch.io launcher. Only way to play it for me is to use the command line/running the jar directly. I'd prefer having a bit of feedback when I get attacked - I noticed that I have life points and can earn money, but I just realised this after like 5 minutes of gameplay. |
| May 9 18:30:17 | 15m 10s | Soul Light | ♥ 2 | As others have pointed out, the controls are rather frustrating and counter-intuitive. Also, I tried to attack the demon but it did not take any damage? On the contrary, I am blown away by your sound design. Every single track is absolutely haunting/stunning. The title screen music reminds me of Command and Conquer, the ingame screen gives me melancholic vibes reminding me of American Horror Story and the death screen is a beautiful piano piece. Props to your sound guy! I also really like the story as well as the pixel art. Oh, and the mechanic that when you take damage, the light becomes smaller - genius move. A few suggestions: 1. make the credits skippable and return to the title screen 2. make life auto-generate or add items in the world that generate life. Since everything is so dark, maybe add lights to those items as well so the player has an incentive to go there. 3. fix your ingame font. Since you are going for the pixelart look, you should make the font also pixelart. |
| May 9 18:38:28 | 8m 11s | Burning Time | ♥ 1 | I really like the idea. Always nice to chop some wood! Cute artstyle. Please consider that also people with 4K monitors play your game. It was super tiny on my screen :) |
