| Oct 8 20:52:55 | Greta Thunberg's Planet Converter | ♥ 2 | Finished the game in 10 days :). Very good idea, never really see any terraforming games out there, so it's a nice idea you went for. The game is quite relaxing though I do agree with the other commenters that it's not very fleshed out, but I did finish it and kill my arm placing down pine trees and murdering them with explosions (extremely satisfying btw), so it did keep me playing. The HTML version is *extremely* bugged by the way. Windows works perfectly fine though. | |
| Oct 8 21:08:56 | 16m 01s | A course at the mall | ♥ 0 | Fun little game :). I finished it pretty quickly, once you figure out the pretty awkward controls it actually gets pretty easy to outrun the guards. I would suggest making the guards faster and pushing better, that would be a good way to make that mechanic more essential. Thanks for the censor option ;). I was quite annoyed by having to sit on a loading screen every time I died. I guess it makes sense because it's procedurally generated but just it did slow the game down. Really enjoyed it though! Good job! |
| Oct 8 21:20:09 | 11m 13s | Light Chaser | ♥ 1 | Simple and enjoyable game :). I would have appreciated a Windows build since the HTML build was quite laggy for me but it didn't hamper my experience too much. The game was quite pleasant to look at and it sounded really nice to my ear. I didn't really enjoy having the red spheres spawn right next or *into me*. I agree with Martin that the game could have done with a more lengthy challenge. I was definitely willing to play the game for longer than 30 seconds a time. Good job! :) |
| Oct 8 21:37:46 | 17m 37s | Just A Minute | ♥ 1 | Really cool concept for a game! The dialogue was quite amusing and there's a lot of charm to the world. It definitely could have done with some music for an extra immersion factor though. I did almost finish the game (I think?) but Dr Evil's dialogue started right when the timer ran out so I was in a yellow screen with his dialogue box, stuck. The game would have been infinitely more enjoyable if there was a speedup option for dialogue, chugging through it got *really* irritating when restarting runs, I also got stuck on some walls. Good job! :) |
| Oct 9 15:41:14 | 18h 03m | Outside the BOX | ♥ 1 | Very simple and well put together. Sound effects were very well, art style is very consistent and clear and you built a lot of interesting puzzles with the limited tool set, so I applaud you for that. The music wasn't really my thing, so a mute button would have been appreciated. The colours changing threw me off a lot, it was a nice touch but I could have done without it. Good job! :) |
| Oct 9 16:05:53 | 24m 39s | Zero Equals Zero | ♥ 1 | Very clever idea, I agree with the other commentors that the platforming was very whack but you made some very interesting puzzles with what you had available. Good Job! |
| Oct 11 17:24:02 | 49h 18m | Totally not Settlers | ♥ 1 | Very enjoyable and detailed game, surprised you got all this done in only three days. Sound is definitely a must and some of the descriptions were lacking (how/ where to place buildings) but everything else was very good. Good job! :) |
| Oct 11 17:42:38 | 18m 36s | Elaborate | ♥ 1 | Game's short and sweet and perfectly fine for what it was. Would have liked if shooting was available earlier on in the game and there was a greater variety of obstacles, but good job regardless, I like it :). |
| Oct 11 17:54:29 | 11m 51s | Solar Grid | ♥ 1 | Great concept and visual + audio design however I share the sentiment with other commenters that guns were far too high of a commitment to ever be more effective than just spamming solar panels. |
| Oct 12 11:49:27 | 17h 54m | Nothilings | ♥ 3 | Really good concept and executed well. The simple geometric art style actually complemented the game and so did the sound work. I got some Portal vibes from the whole omnipotent narration part of it and since I obviously wasn't going to go in expecting masterclass voice acting, it was a really nice touch to the game. Since the game was so long however I would have appreciated a pause button, otherwise there's not much else for me to point out. Good job! :) |
| Oct 12 12:14:12 | 24m 45s | Ball of Duty: Special Drops | ♥ 2 | I think I'm in love with this video game. Everything (almost) is perfect. The gameplay, the music, you guys have an excellent sense of humour. I thought this would just be a generic "click to money get" game but there's so much charm and love, it's just brilliant. Only two points for improvement. 1) Would have been nicer if UI sounds were a thing from the beginning. Music upgrade is cool though 2) Up until the last two or three UI upgrades, the text was blurry and difficult to read. Exceptional work! :) |
| Oct 12 12:29:04 | 14m 52s | Ant Capitalist | ♥ 1 | Was slightly confused at first but I got it all figured out the second game, very well executed concept that I very much enjoyed, some music would have been nice though. Good job! :) |
| Oct 12 15:35:58 | 3h 06m | Abyssal Maze | ♥ 1 | As others said, quite the difficult and frustrating game, but the music was peaceful at least. Good concept, execution was slightly green though. |
| Oct 12 19:17:25 | 3h 41m | Super Goat Life | ♥ 3 | Very cute and charming game, couldn't get as far as some other people, got kinda stuck on the potato part, but the art and music is just really well done. Some more variation on the mini-games would have really enhanced the experience but for a Gamejam there's a lot in this entry! |
| Oct 13 18:50:54 | 23h 33m | Run... Away? | ♥ 1 | Solid, good art, fitting sound effects it was a nice foundation to a game, though having something more complete would have definitely been appreciated. |
| Oct 13 18:57:39 | 6m 45s | SIMFLUENCER | ♥ 1 | Really cool and incredibly hilarious voice acting. Not much to criticise here, maybe more people to take pictures with but I had lots of laughs during this. Great job! |
