Aug 13 15:22:10 Human Tangram ♥ 1 I liked this one. Separating the pieces before starting isn't perfect, especially having to click twice if the split isn't straight, but apart from that I enjoyed playing it. Thanks for providing a linux build!
Aug 13 15:25:54 3m 44s Tight Rooms ♥ 1 Fun to play for a bit. I liked the physics. I agree with @cobear25's comments about the music though.
Aug 13 15:31:06 5m 12s Beaver Pitch ♥ 0 This felt a bit aimless, which isn't surprising given that it's unfinished. Barnaby could swim in this version, but the player could pretend that he can't. There was a distinct lack of challenge, which maybe could have been quickly partly resolved by a simple timer?
Aug 13 15:54:13 23m 07s Made With Meat ♥ 1 The rules say "Porting (especially to Web or Windows) can happen after the initial 48 hours", so no rationale is even needed for that WebGL build!
Aug 13 16:25:57 31m 44s Quickshot Yellow: The Quest for Green Flags ♥ 1 Nice game. The theme link was subtle but there in the last few levels (but then the first levels were mostly there to introduce mechanics). I'd have appreciated an undo button.
Aug 13 17:46:58 1h 21m Dearth of Mana ♥ 1 An interesting variation on an old theme, but it feels unfinished
Aug 13 18:09:06 22m 08s The Screen Saver ♥ 1 Not a bad game. Making the window smaller is a nice idea at first sight, but it doesn't work well at all with some window managers. On my laptop (which runs i3) the end result is a stretched window that while it does resize is trivial to get back to its original size. I'd say black borders would work better.
Aug 13 18:17:27 8m 21s Compression ♥ 1 A bit too hard for me, I got stuck on the second level. As soon as she screen glitches start it's game over for me. Still a nice idea, and what I saw works well.
Aug 13 19:17:39 1h 00m Running out of Space ♥ 1 Great game. Not my usual genre so I'm bad at it, but I did have fun playing it.
Aug 13 20:03:07 45m 28s Mother Ship ♥ 1 A very nice game. I totally forgot about scrolling the very first time, but then I got the hang of it and saved five billion people. Pity about the others! Scrolling could be a bit faster
Aug 13 20:07:34 4m 27s DEFRAG ♥ 1 Not bad at all.
Aug 13 20:16:52 9m 18s Roops ♥ 0 Not a bad effort. A bit faster paced than what I usually enjoy playing, but I still had fun. I'd like it better if dropping a car had a bit more tolerance to it, i.e. they'd snap into place. Also some arriving and leaving animations would do a lot. Currently when you drop a car on the exit, the way it vanishes is a bit distracting for me.
Aug 13 21:08:25 51m 33s Cartoon Tactics ♥ 1 I enjoyed this one very much. A stronger AI would be nice, but it's 48 hours... The shrinking world sometimes allowed some great tactics, although that needed some help from the terrain generator.
Aug 13 21:15:30 7m 05s Bomber Brigade ♥ 1 Nice and simple game. Ideally the controls would be listed somewhere though
Aug 14 14:12:35 16h 57m Running out of Space ♥ 1 Ah, the proper hopeless feeling of old moonlander games! Nice interpretation of the theme
Aug 14 14:20:23 7m 48s Brightly-Wrapped Boxes ♥ 1 Nice concept. I agree with the others that being able to move back would be very helpful.
Aug 14 14:33:20 12m 57s Faster than space ♥ 1 I got a bit lost in this one. I liked the audio, but the controls were tricky (I never managed to select a crew member on the first attempt)
Aug 14 14:54:51 21m 31s grindatron.tv ♥ 1 I'm not very good at this (Where are my turns? :), but it was fun to play
Aug 14 15:07:58 13m 07s Temple Dungeon 42 ♥ 0 Nice little game to spend some time in. I think some of the controls could be better, like let me move in the general direction of where I clicked if I didn't click on an adjacent tile, or picking something up if I click on it without having to change modes (in general I don't think you need the modes at all).
Aug 14 15:22:33 14m 35s Dash Brawler ♥ 1 A decent game. I never really understood what I was doing, but I got through anyway. The intro and cutscenes make it feel complete.
Aug 14 22:51:52 7h 29m Patrick's Challenge III ♥ 1 Quite an enjoyable game! One bug I had was that in full-screen I don't have a mouse cursor, and if the directly non-diagonal squares are gone you can't move diagonally using the cursor keys, so you're stuck (until you exit full-screen mode of course).
Aug 14 23:02:53 11m 01s ENCRYPT3D ♥ 0 I'm not sure why there seem to be both growing stacks of files that behave in a tetris-like way and a total size bar, without any real indication of how big a file is. There seem to be different mechanics in here that don't work together very well for me.
Aug 14 23:10:40 7m 47s Detonation Dice ♥ 1 Man, I'm bad at this! Great concept, and it works very well. It wasn't clear to me right away that only the top sides can match, maybe they can be greyed out a bit or something like that? For me, the game accelerated too fast, I couldn't do really do anything way before the end of the game. Control-wise, maybe the right mouse button could also switch between rolling and sliding?
Aug 14 23:53:40 43m 00s S.T.A.C.K.E.R. Clear Bag ♥ 1 Some information about what various items do would be very useful. Every now and then I couldn't drag an item and had to click around a bit before it would work again.
Aug 15 00:26:42 33m 02s Puzzle #42 Running out of space ♥ 1 I did need the hints, but it was fun. I agree that introductory levels would be good.
Aug 15 00:51:38 24m 56s Parking Spaces ♥ 1 Nice game. The trailers are tricky, but I don't think that's bad. Don't forget to rate other games!
Aug 17 18:48:44 65h 57m Balloon Critter ♥ 1 Ah, these balloons are always out of space! I found horizontal control a bit too difficult, but maybe that's just me (I'm one of those people who likes turn-based games...)
Aug 17 19:24:34 35m 50s Elevator Operator ♥ 1 There are a lot of inventory tetris games, but this one felt different. Nice game!
Aug 20 20:43:25 73h 18m The Infinite Hotel ♥ 2 I needed to do a few fixes before I got this to run properly: first, the code refers to res/journeyAssistant.png, while the file in the 7zip archive contains res/journeyassistant.png. Renaming that got the game to run properly (I got symptoms similar to what @deaymon and @eptwalabha describe), but I needed to change the font to one that's actually on my system to get the display not to be messy. I used Carlito, which is size-compatible with Calibri. Portability is a pain, especially if you're not used to it... I like the game. Maybe it's a bit slow, but as you say that makes it a nice background game. The people walking around and the traffic on the road keep it lively. The graphics aren't the greatest (says the guy who made a text-only game) but they're definitely good enough, and almost certainly better than what I would achieve. Maybe you could have people walk at slightly different speeds to make things a bit less regular? One definite improvement I think would be some sort of indication of which rooms someone is working in. Right now it can be a bit tricky to see if the dirt or breakdown situation is under control. (Just as a data point, I also consider rar to be a very obscure format, and I'm surprised every time I see it. zip is way more common, although 7zip is catching up. In this particular case though, ideally you'd have all the resources in the .jar file so you wouldn't need any of them)
Aug 22 18:18:37 45h 35m Knight General ♥ 0 A nice little game. It does feel a bit unfinished though.
Aug 22 18:52:56 34m 19s Hoard ♥ 1 Nice game! I also missed shift at first, and I think maybe having rotation speed accelerate would work better. The other issue I had was that sometimes things *just* touch but no red pixels appear, and for some objects the outline doesn't seem to exactly match the collision area. Apart from those, I did enjoy playing through to the end. I only had to get rid of the wheelbarrow!
