Apr 26 03:02:22 Bloodew Valley ♥ 1 Hey. I found the game interesting. Sure it is pretty simple and I find it repetitive. Running from the veggie ghosts is easy, you just have to move backwards while you fire your weapon. The boss gave me chills! He is sure scary. The game seems to be based on Minecraft or something. It wasn't easy to identify the 2 incompatible genres for me. Congrats for the work though! :)
Apr 27 22:29:11 43h 26m Card 'Em Up ♥ 0 Nice game! I like the style. I couldn't pass the 4000 mark. It is nostalgic and I like the HD quality to it. Good job stderr!
Apr 27 23:12:12 43m 01s Slime Garden ♥ 0 Hey. Nice! I won the game and got to lvl 109! The game needs some balance, sometimes it's easy to kill and gain experience, sometimes it's impossible. Enemies spawning too much on the same place makes it fast to gain experience. Music is repetitive. I had no idea if i was able to kill one slime or not, there was neither a level to them nor a life bar which i could know how hard to kill they were. I had to guess their color was related to their level. I found some bugs in AI as well. They would go away from me instead of coming toward me. I like how you can jump from rope to rope. I didn't get those blocked gates with helmets symbols. They only opened after I won the boss.
Apr 27 23:31:38 19m 26s Good Boy vs The Bad Boys ♥ 1 I loved the voice over the actions! It's funny! I found it hard to aim at the aliens. Sure had fun! I lasted 6 minutes and something. Sometimes there were too many directions cards, so I had to use them and run around over the buildings to be able to get an attack card. LOL
Apr 27 23:51:55 20m 17s Iocus Navis ♥ 1 Ops! The game bugged after I moved to the west limit of the map I guess. The enemy ships never actually tried to shoot at me at the first round I played, I guess it's just the AI trying to use its cards. Well, lucky me. After a while I got notified of the home planet, but it seemed that there were 2 identical Earths just on the next area of the map. Unfortunately I died while trying to get the right cards to get inside the planet.
Apr 28 00:16:13 24m 18s DOS: Defense of Script ♥ 1 Nice, well done. I found some bugs though. Many times I had to close the game in order to play again, the command exit wasn't working or I couldn't press the start game button. You could implement the upper and down keys to scroll through recent commands, just like DOS does. It's good that I could use copy and paste in order to make things faster though. I found it hard at the beginning to find a way to survive. But after I upgraded my first turret, it was easy. Unfortunately the game crashed, I guess because there were too many things going on and I had turrets all around the path. There are places in the map that don't make sense because placing a turret there won't make it possible for it to shoot. You could also accepted 3C and C3 as coordinates. ;)
Apr 28 00:38:33 22m 20s Love to Live ♥ 1 Hmm. I guess you're trying to create a story based game. Like cutscenes and stuff. Despite audio and graphics, everything seemed to work good. Congrats on your attempt!
Apr 28 06:39:33 6h 01m CMD TUTOR ♥ 1 It's a nice way to learn it. I just wonder what if you forget the command and you can't go back to the teaching part. (I can cheat with the narrow keys and see what I typed). The commands also don't look to work properly, but your software can detected what I typed. I thought upper and lower cases don't make a difference for the cmd.
Apr 28 22:05:58 15h 26m Rose-Coloured Dungeon Life ♥ 3 It would be more intuition if the dialogues would appear to the right and left side of the screen depending on who's talking. Sometimes it's confusing to know who is saying what. Dialogues are a little too long for me as well. But they are funny though. The quality of the drawings of the character for the dialogues is better than the game graphics itself. It was hard to get how the killing system works but after insisting a little i got the hang of it and could help all the monsters and kill all the humans. I didn't find the tail attack and dash useful. I'm just pointing some stuff I think could improve, but overall the game is good and funny.
Apr 28 22:33:53 27m 55s Overwhelming ♥ 1 Nice game design! The thing that comes to mind is that moving and jumping doesn't look natural to me, maybe a little laggy. Don't know how to explain. But good game!
Apr 29 02:07:38 3h 33m Don't Shoot (Visual Novel / Tac Shooter ♥ 0 It took me some rounds to understand that the options disappear after a short while and the game automatically makes the decision for you. Right? I wish there were more imagery and content. I got the feeling I couldn't control my story as much as I wanted.
Apr 29 02:21:24 13m 46s MotherDucker ♥ 1 Nice! It's a funny game. I managed to get 3 saved during my attempts. I like the graphics too! It's an overall good game. Too bad there weren't more maps. The LD 41's theme didn't get across for me but the game is nice anyway. A system of progress organized by maps and scored with stars might be ideal for this type of game.
Apr 29 02:36:48 15m 24s Blocks'N'Blaster ♥ 1 Wow! One of the best games I've played on LD41 so far. Pretty good idea and nice final product. Not much too say. I scored 1,116,699! :) Maybe those coins could allow me to buy some bonuses like double points or slow down the time for a while. Anyway, great job!
Apr 29 02:58:43 21m 55s Interdenominational BROwS ♥ 1 Nice! I like the way you slit the screen. I had no one to play with me, so I was playing both p1 and p2. I don't know if that was the intention. Not that hard to play both sides of the screen (but not simultaneously ;)). I like that you put your voice over the beginning. It was different and felt more humane. I wish more developers do the same in the future. PS: I could only pick flowers after a monster had gotten over my head.
May 1 01:53:24 46h 54m Eyes on the Prize ♥ 2 Nice! I found the game difficult to press tab and craft something at the same time as shooting enemies. It's nonstop fight! It could be easier if the game paused during crafting so I could actually know what I was doing. Anyway, good job guys!
May 1 02:14:04 20m 40s Strategysphere ♥ 0 Cool! I like the idea. I wished the game had a faster pace though.
May 1 02:27:31 13m 27s Bird-View Burger Barn ♥ 2 Wow! What a nice concept of game. Pretty interesting and addictive. Nice work guys!
May 1 02:40:04 12m 33s Jumper Cables ♥ 2 It's the only racing game I've seen so far in LD41. Good job! It was difficult for me to control the car properly, I guess the physics and stuff is hard to develop. During my playing, I found something that propelled me very high and I won the race easy. I didn't quite understand the LD41 theme on your game unfortunately.
May 1 02:52:37 12m 33s Beat Aliens ♥ 1 I don't know what happened the second time I tried to play, but no enemy was coming after playing for a while. I don't know if it's me but it's hard to keep up with the rhythm, especially when you get nervous at certain enemies. ;) Would like to see different enemies (I couldn't beat the boss) and weapon upgrade. Nice job! I think you did it alone, right? Good entry!
May 1 22:24:32 19h 31m Soccer for Strategy ♥ 1 Interesting. It wasn't so hard to make a goal after I understood how the game worked. Congratulations on the game you made on your own!
May 1 22:52:52 28m 20s Sword And Plow ♥ 1 Wow! Really good solid game! Congrats everyone involved! After a while I found it easy to play, but addictive though!
May 1 23:13:44 20m 52s Patrick's Shoot Towers Pew Pew! ♥ 1 Nice! Although not very challenging, the game has a nice concept! Good job!
May 1 23:24:18 10m 34s Fast & Feretro ♥ 0 Hey there! I found the physics a little awkward, but I found my way to the graveyard. When I would went for the jump platform I would jump super high and the game would kind of bug. Nice modeling and stuff. Congrats guys!
