| Dec 6 21:01:09 | Lava Cave | ♥ 2 | I liked the music and the climbing animation is gorgeous. The game is hard and not easily understandable though. The tutorial was most welcome but wasn't clear enough and I still didn't understand what I'm supposed to do with the balls I take =/ The impulsion gun is also very hard to use because it doesn't do anything except if you just jumped before, adding a bit of flexibility to the timing would greatly improve the game in my opinion. (Also why add a jumping gun and not making the jump go higher in the first place ? ) | |
| Dec 6 21:17:39 | 16m 30s | Kabloo8 | ♥ 0 | I'm already spending way more time than I should on this game. It's very polished, there's feedback for everything and it's immediately enjoyable, congrats ! If you could also turn the hit sound a little bit down that would be perfect (I'm looking at you dozens of double boucing balls hitting dozens of bricks ;) ) |
| Dec 6 21:45:38 | 27m 59s | Juggle Jam | ♥ 0 | I think I got how the juggle editor worked \o/ It's an unexpected take on the theme and an hypnotizing toy, I love it ! You're just missing the automatic gif generator ;) |
| Dec 6 21:55:51 | 10m 13s | Askipaouf | ♥ 0 | Congrats on making that with you own engine ! The game would benefit for a bit more permissive hit boxes and a shooting mecanism in my opinion but good work ! |
| Dec 6 22:01:58 | 6m 07s | Give Me a Pound My Friend | ♥ 1 | Wuuut ? ahahah This was quite funny and unexpected, well done ! It did seemed difficult to dismiss the beggars with the mouse, are they supposed to disappear on the first click or did I miss something ? Also, since you work with Unity, don't hesitate to provide a web build, it makes it easier for people to playtest your game ! |
| Dec 7 13:02:46 | 15h 00m | Slightly annoying traffic | ♥ 1 | Great entry ! The concept is very enjoyable and neatly executed. Being able to choose the difficulty would be a great feature since starting back from the begginning can seem a bit punitive if one juste lost a game with lots of cars. Excellent game overall ! |
| Dec 7 13:05:56 | 3m 10s | ... | ♥ 1 | Cute game :) the graphics are well done and it is pleasant to play (well actually it's a bit more difficult on an azerty keyboard but I can imagine it plays nicer on a qwerty one). I did get stuck in a fence once and did not understand right away that the chicken could move without jumping but great entry overall ! |
| Dec 7 13:09:22 | 3m 26s | Make Ludum Dare Great Again | ♥ 2 | An excellent choice of music for a really polished game ! Good job ! It did lag a bit on the web version though =/ |
| Dec 7 13:19:51 | 10m 29s | Jazzy Beats | ♥ 4 | The game is really beautiful and the music is nice so before anything else, congratulations ! It was a bit hard to play it on an azerty keyboard though since the keys are quite far apart and so I was most of the time running around waiting for my ultimate to fill. Maybe adding different sorts of ennemies, some that can dash toward or other kind of actions would help make the gameplay more dynamic and tense ;) |
| Dec 7 20:07:40 | 6h 47m | Karma Run | ♥ 1 | Although I find it gorgeous (i really enjoy simple art ) and I loved the music I had the impression of not really having the choice to behave in a good way, sometimes people were just in my way and I had no other choice but to be a bad boy. Maybe providing a bit more explaining or freedom would go a long way. Good job anyway ! Keep working on it ! |
| Dec 7 20:33:12 | 25m 32s | Hellmazon | ♥ 0 | Really fun concept that's well executed. Being able to turn the packages around to check the number could have been, providing a way to check face down packages but loosing some precious time at the same time. Then if you'd like to push the concept further I could easily imagine having to xray scan somes packages or that king of things. Well done :) |
| Dec 11 12:54:58 | 88h 21m | you are the coin master | ♥ 0 | Everything is really polished and looks great but there was some kind of lag with the input that made it harder to play ( maybe it's because I was using the html5 version). Good job ! |
| Dec 11 12:59:35 | 4m 37s | Mushroom Délicieux | ♥ 1 | Everything is excellent, the graphics, the music, the gameplay. if was sometimes hard to understand what was happening with a lot of ennemies on the map but I understand there are some limitations with Pico8. Congratulations ! |
| Dec 12 19:52:22 | 30h 52m | Axetreme Armadillo | ♥ 0 | I do love the concept of having local multiplayers for a ludum. Although the mechanics of you game works well on paper we found it pretty hard to control. Too bad because what we played was really promising. With a little bit of polish over the movement fluidity this could be an excellent local brawler. Good job ! |
| Dec 12 20:04:33 | 12m 11s | Forgotten Cubes | ♥ 1 | The game is really beautiful, I love it's ambiance. I finished the game quite easily also I was sometimes frustrated by how the cubes would behave because sometimes cubes at the exact same position would not jump at the same time wich led to a bit a frustration. If the cubes movements were more systemic I think it would make a great ambient relaxing puzzle game, good job. |
| Dec 12 20:22:59 | 18m 26s | Shapes Are Mean | ♥ 1 | Easy to get but hard to master. The tutorial was a nice addition to the game but what was the "boum" though ?. Good job :) |
| Dec 12 20:25:35 | 2m 36s | Sticky Racer | ♥ 1 | The games seems to load forever =/ |
| Dec 12 20:57:14 | 31m 39s | Cardhoard | ♥ 1 | This is by far one of the best games I've played this ludum dare. Everything is so smartly tied together. It's neat, well polished and the feedback is excellent. But why make L the jumping key ? :'( it's making the game much more difficult than it should. Were it bound to space, this would be a perfect game ! |
| Dec 25 09:56:02 | 300h 58m | Growing Polytheism | ♥ 1 | We can clearly see how far this game could go. In it's current state it's fun to play but there's some limitations I'll detail later. However the concept is solid and could go a long way with more work and polish. For on thing the art and the music are good and contrbutes a lot to the overall atmosphere. So do the villagers who roam your village. Too bad they don't have any purpose yet. Also adding a zoom in / zoom out options would be great. So would be the ability to destroy buildings or to see howmuch they cost. And I wasn't really impacted by the numerous god I had. You surely have ideas about how to make them impact more gameplay and I'mcurious to see that. Good job ! ( particularly for doing that on your own engine ! ) |
