| Dec 4 22:52:33 | Deadly Diver | ♥ 1 | Excellent work! Really pretty. Feels like a simpler ridiculous fishing. I got a perfect score! I think this needs a restart button for when you're screwed. | |
| Dec 8 03:36:42 | 76h 44m | Chick Magnet | ♥ 1 | This is cute, funny game name and concept. I couldn't ever get an egg, though. It was never clear why an egg would follow me or wouldn't. |
| Dec 8 03:43:53 | 7m 11s | The Harsh Life of Terry the Homeless Dude | ♥ 1 | Pretty funny game! I think you did a great job keeping it simple so that you could complete a game. I wanted more explanation as to what was good to pick up and what was bad to pick up, if anything, and it felt mostly like random chance what I would pick up since I was blindly running right. But I like what you've done here! |
| Dec 8 04:11:48 | 27m 55s | M - (name is too short) | ♥ 1 | Hmm, on Mac I get what looks like a title screen with some toast on it and then it never goes away. :-/ |
| Dec 8 04:30:11 | 18m 23s | Chaos Dart | ♥ 1 | Pretty nice. Cool idea to have all these powerups and then enemy additions. I think the shooting powerup was too good, and being able to wrap around the map when the enemies couldn't do the same was pretty overpowered. As a result I never got hit, so the pressure didn't feel quite high enough for this style of game. |
| Dec 8 04:38:19 | 8m 08s | The Cult of Refrigodrator | ♥ 0 | The art and visual delivery / mood of this are the real winners. Well done there. I think the gameplay could be tuned – I never really felt like I was in control and stuff was happening a little too quickly. Accidentally hitting my followers when I tried to do much of anything was a major issue. Maybe a toggle for friendly fire? |
| Dec 8 05:43:32 | 1h 05m | Extreme Whiski Slalom | ♥ 1 | Great work! Love the sendoff from that old ski game. I wish the drunkard would have done insane tricks or something instead of just giving a score multiplier. I also would have preferred that the steering be relative to the character rather than the screen – that confused me the whole time. |
| Dec 11 21:32:26 | 87h 48m | Yard Time | ♥ 0 | Well-implemented and polished. I thought it was a bit unclear how things were functioning under the hood – why they would think "Escape" and what it would actually do. Targeting other prisoners, as others have mentioned, would have helped a lot as well. And final note... it was kind of offensive. And I don't get offended easily. I guess I'm a bit sensitive right now with the current political climate. The idea of prisoners being forced to murder each other based on race just wasn't a funny to me. :-( |
| Dec 11 22:33:06 | 1h 00m | Wormhead | ♥ 1 | I had a really hard time aiming just because the shots don't seem to use my relative velocity, really. A shame, because the snake idea was pretty cool. |
| Dec 11 22:39:01 | 5m 55s | Money Laundering Simulator | ♥ 1 | Nice work with the simple mechanics. Had good branching paths of what I could do and escalation of difficulty. I eventually lost just because I wasn't paying attention, derp! Since you're taking inspiration from Agricola, maybe having more a VP-style system would be good, so a single cock-up would just add like a Begging Card as opposed to making me lose immediately. |
| Dec 12 02:10:53 | 3h 31m | Life is money | ♥ 1 | Flash? Oh snap. I thought this was cute and pretty amusing but eventually ($100) I stopped because things weren't changing rapidly enough. |
| Dec 12 02:22:10 | 11m 17s | Chuckles, the Word Juggler | ♥ 0 | Was pretty good! I found it fun to just keep typing. I wish the difficulty ramp was better for advanced typists like me: I never had any challenge until I had done over 100 words, and I only lost because I didn't hit a letter on my keyboard hard enough – by the time I deleted out the following letters, 3 in a row hit the bottom. Didn't feel like I lost because I was bad but just because of an input mistake after like 5+ minutes. Also, sometimes I'd have long words that had unusual letter combos ("Brooklyn" for example) and then have stupidly short stuff immediately afterwards ("R" or "CV"). Fun overall! |
| Dec 14 20:41:54 | 66h 19m | Evil Wizard | ♥ 0 | Cool game! You're right that it's very hard. I followed your advice and got the flowers first, which helped, but some way to heal seems ideal. Also, there is a bug where the step after an enemy dies they can still hit you. Would also be nice to turn around without moving. |
| Dec 15 23:39:51 | 26h 57m | A Space Hitchhiking Game | ♥ 2 | This is totally a game I would buy if it was complete. I don't think it's the best game jam game, though. It's just so complicated! And the pace is extremely slow (I'm just leaving it running right now as I try to get to the nearest planet over several minutes). But man the concept is great, and there's a really impressive amount of systems in here. |
| Dec 15 23:59:21 | 19m 30s | Remembag | ♥ 1 | Very pretty, fun game too! Nice memory span game. I got to the last room (or almost, it was the ninth item) and there were monitors everywhere showing me where I was looking but the door had nothing useful on it. I guessed and lost. That made me pretty irritated after spending 12 minutes mostly navigating around picking up the same items over and over. I just wanted to see the end. The throwing into the box could sometimes be an issue as well, where stuff would repeatedly bounce out. |
