Aug 29 16:28:00 Alby Fun little game. I enjoyed figuring out how to wall jump to get out of the level... Arrow shooting felt really good.
Aug 30 04:37:00 12h 09m Warring Townships Enjoyed this! I too quite liked the terrain generation and the aesthetic of the environment. Wasn't very deep, with unlimited production of units (as far as I could tell), perhaps just adding some limit (proportional to number of homes remaining) would make things more interesting.
Aug 30 04:44:00 7m 00s No Man's Pixel There appears to be no link to download, and the "timelapse" link is to a video page with the latest video being a year old.
Aug 30 04:58:00 14m 00s UniDOS I didn't find a "secret image" but did get infected with a kitten virus and get to a screen that said "You won!". 'Twas a fun walk down memory lane =).
Aug 30 05:06:00 8m 00s Pneumatic Pipe Manager How do I run this? I tried running it as a usual Java .jar, and am getting the following error: <br/>C:\Games\LD36\PneumaticPipeManager-EstrelSteel&gt;java -jar PneumaticPipeManager-v1.0b-EstrelSteel.jar <br/>Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException <br/> at com.estrelsteel.engine2.file.GameFile.getCurrentPath(GameFile.java:26) <br/> at com.estrelsteel.ld36.LD36.&lt;init&gt;(LD36.java:90) <br/> at com.estrelsteel.ld36.LD36.main(LD36.java:68) <br/> <br/>From the pictures, looks a lot like MiniMetro, which I adore, would love to try it =).
Aug 30 06:51:00 1h 45m Ruins of ZZT I'm glad mine was not the only entry that requires DOSBox to play! I completed the adventure with a score of 7739. <br/> <br/>This seemed rather long for a LD entry, perhaps because it was quick for you to author content =). I enjoyed most of it, though often when walking and shooting I would shoot in the wrong direction (probably pressing shift before I'd released an arrow key), and I'm sure that's a ZZT/DOSBox issue, not an issue with your game ^_^.
Aug 30 17:36:00 10h 45m Dr. Sauce I won! 264 seconds. <br/> <br/>Fun little game. Just enough going on to keep engaged. It took me a little while to realize how the disk inserting one worked - at first thought I just keep clicking randomly, then finally noticed that it changes if I stop on the requested disk, which makes total sense now. I love the console powered by blowing into the cartridge.
Aug 31 06:12:00 12h 36m Kukulkan's Phantom Great game! Liked the aesthetic. Enjoyed becoming immortal, despite the costs. Puzzles were good without being too hard, but I'm glad none of the later ones resulted in instant death and re-playing the first few for a fifth time.
Sep 1 04:46:00 22h 34m Five Days Feels like a text-based version of Kingdom. Quite fun! I successfully defeated the enemy kingdom! I like the ancient technologies used - text based, and, well, Java.
Sep 2 03:41:00 22h 55m Random Access Aliens Interesting little game. Played rather slowly, even for a turn based game - faster explosions would have gone a long way. I totally did not understand the AP system at the beginning, got very confused as to why I suddenly could not move (thought I was stuck in a wall!), then tried shooting, and it would let me do that either, so some feedback about "out of AP" when trying to do either of those would have been slick.
Sep 2 04:14:00 33m 00s EverDown Fun! <br/> <br/>I gave up before the laser ever tarted threatening me. <br/> <br/>Liked that there was an added bonus for each of the artifacts I was picking up, gave me a little reason to prefer one over the other.
Sep 2 04:59:00 45m 00s The Collector Fun! <br/> <br/>Had some minor collision issues, but they weren't too annoying, just took a bit to get used to. Same with sometimes being skewered without feeling like I was still on the trap. <br/> <br/>Laughed at a few deaths where I thought I cleverly avoided a trap, only to be killed by another one.
