| Dec 9 22:14:00 | 1h 20m | Gone | Won't run, I think it has to do with my lame Intel HD graphics card. Error is "canvas something something for your OpenGL implementation" |
| Dec 10 03:54:00 | 5h 40m | Confessional | Very interesting entry. The typing and darkness were really effective. Great interpretation of the theme. |
| Dec 10 03:55:00 | 1m 00s | Pengie | Fun game! I scored 3750, but it took me a good 10 tries! - good feel, ice walking, fun game. the penguin poop was ridiculous! hah. |
| Dec 10 03:55:00 | 0s | Law Breaker | I found the controls were a bit hard, as i was trying to steer the car relative to its front, rather than "move" it absolutely. Great game though, love the pixel-ey goodness. Solid entry as always :) |
| Dec 10 03:56:00 | 1m 00s | Snowball Tunning | The graphics are neat. I found it hard to get a hold of the "tuning" mechanism, and died a lot. |
| Dec 10 03:57:00 | 1m 00s | Ember | The first music phase was really great. Got stuck and restarted. Got 80% complete, but then just rain clouds came for a long time. I don't know how to proceed. Neat entry overall. |
| Dec 10 03:57:00 | 0s | A Major Mystery | Interesting take on the theme. I managed to win the game. I liked the camera battery charging UI and pause between pictures. |
| Dec 10 03:58:00 | 1m 00s | Stranded | Graphics were nice, and I like the concept. However, I could not get any of the UI things to work (crafting, etc.) I also could not quit the game using the escape key. Had to Alt+F4 it. I hope you develop this more fully. Nice work so far! |
| Dec 10 03:59:00 | 1m 00s | RobFishing | Love the pixelated artwork. The game was pretty fun for a while. Some sounds would really enhance it I bet. Nice entry. |
| Dec 10 03:59:00 | 0s | ASDF ASDF | Love those pixels. Very minimal color palette and fun key mashing gameplay. I died a lot, but had fun. Very gameboy-esque. Good work! |
| Dec 10 04:00:00 | 1m 00s | The Fast and the Flatulent | I don't know what I just played, but I think I had fun. Neat concept of the game within a game. That long necked fellow is creepy. I like the music. Would play again. |
| Dec 10 04:00:00 | 0s | Nooo Bath Time!!! | Hah, what a weird game! :) Nice job. |
| Dec 10 04:01:00 | 1m 00s | Couch RTS | I like the concept of the single screen vs. battle play. I did find the game felt sluggish (animations and movements felt slow). They were well done though. I hope you develop this further, it seems if it were a bit snappier it would be more fun. Good work! |
| Dec 10 04:02:00 | 1m 00s | BARKLEY: SHUT UP AND SCREEN | Hah, i liked this game a lot. At first i had a hard time seeing who I was and who I was passing to. Once I got that, it was clear what I had to do. Throw some sounds on this and you're golden. Lovely pixels, also. |
| Dec 10 04:03:00 | 1m 00s | TheBlindMaze | Very neat and unusual idea. I did not manage to complete the maze, but this is really cool. |
| Dec 10 04:03:00 | 0s | Snowman vs Chesspieces | The music was pretty cool. I managed to beat a couple rounds. However, on entering round 3, each time I selected cards, it would just auto win the round. I was fiddling with it, and looked down and saw I was in round 10! Not sure what happened there. |
| Dec 10 04:04:00 | 1m 00s | Santa's Reindeers | Very good for a first entry! It was very clicky, and I found the pace of upgrades, etc. to be a bit slow. However, since turrets are not yet working, perhaps that would change. Might I suggest including a few different snowball sounds and playing a random one each time you throw? This would make the "grind" of the throwing feel more natural and less repetitive. Congrats on finishing your first LD game! |
| Dec 10 04:04:00 | 0s | Solus | Very nice entry. The music is cool, and the pace of the game is great. One thing I found annoying was that i could not replay the game right away. I had to wait 3-5 seconds to start again. Great entry! |
| Dec 10 04:05:00 | 1m 00s | Nanaina | I liked the mood of the game. I was not sure where to go exactly, so I think I went everywhere, but didn't see a way to complete a task. The double jumping was really hard to do, which was a bit frustrating. |
| Dec 10 04:06:00 | 1m 00s | Killine | Really pretty fun for a long time. It gets really hard after a while. I think less repetitive music would be better. Good job overall. |
| Dec 10 04:06:00 | 0s | Shooting Things in Space | I loved the low-poly graphics. I found the controls hard to use a bit, and I didn't really understand what was going on with my resources. This did satisfy a certain "pew pew" need though. :) |
| Dec 10 04:07:00 | 1m 00s | TeazleParty | Very novel concept! I liked the zooming in on the games and that they were somewhat different. I was only playing was one player, so the multiplayer aspects may have been lost on me. Nice job :) |
| Dec 10 04:07:00 | 0s | Chess Wars | Neat idea. I wish the game was more complete/finish-able though. I hope you finish the bits you have left and re-release it. This could be very fun with 2 players. |
| Dec 10 04:08:00 | 1m 00s | 12 Hours | Really very good! I really liked the tiny scale, but large world feel. Difficulty 3 and 4 were super hard! I managed to escape once and lost the rest of the plays. The variety in clothing among guards and resistance forces was a nice touch. Good job! |
| Dec 10 04:08:00 | 0s | Lombom | I like the concept. I found the block color change times to be a little too long though. It made the game pace feel drawn out, rather than snappy and fun. |
| Dec 10 04:09:00 | 1m 00s | Snowman Critter Control 2 | Took me a sec to figure out how to play. The notes about controls on the side of the game board should probably be higher contrast (brown on brownish right now). Once I died, there didn't seem to be an option to restart. Interesting take on the theme. I liked how the snow got absorbed, revealing the grass :) |
| Dec 10 04:10:00 | 1m 00s | A Link Between Screens | I really wanted to finish the story, but the hit boxes were too unforgiving. Had to get too close to use sword, and the slidey movement meant I ran into things as I was hitting them with the sword, which was really frustrating :( I did manage to get to the second part of the second level though. I also like the music. |
| Dec 10 04:10:00 | 0s | On The Field | 17 seconds! GOOOOOOAAAAAAL! Super awesome entry. One of my favourites so far. Very novel concept! Well done! :) |
| Dec 10 04:11:00 | 1m 00s | Unity Ascension | Impressive that you got a networked play component done in 2 days. The gameplay was pretty simple, but fun. |
| Dec 10 04:11:00 | 0s | SchneeMannschaft | I really liked the graphical style. The controls felt a little sluggish, but I did manage to score some goals :) Nice music as well. Good work. |
| Dec 10 04:11:00 | 0s | Ora Bolas! | Very colorful! :) |
| Dec 10 16:03:00 | 11h 52m | The Second Thought or Please, Don't Touch Anything | Very nice work! I have only found the first two more obvious endings, but will be playing more of this. I really enjoy the music, and pixel art style. |
| Dec 11 17:19:00 | 25h 16m | Bugged Out | Wow, great job! There was one bug (heh.) where if I clicked to shoot my web and missed, the web would go on a 90 or 45 degree random angle, rather than where I clicked. However, the rest of the game is so fun and great I can deal. One thing that would be neat is a more obvious "Your score was X" before showing high scores. Overall a really well done game! :) |
| Dec 11 17:39:00 | 20m 00s | Tightrope Theatre | Very well done! I think when the unicylclist falls, it would add a lot of "feel" to have a crowd boo or gasp in horror. Likewise, some cheering in addition to the win music would add a lot I think. One nitpick is I wish the restart level curtain transition was a tad quicker. I want to get back to retrying immediately :D Well done overall! |
| Dec 13 19:24:00 | 49h 45m | Beat Bop Delicious | Pretty cool idea, and I love those pixels. I think it would be better perhaps to call out "round over" a bit more clearly. Also, perhaps randomize the controls that need help a little more. It felt sequential to me. Neat idea, good take on the theme. I like the variety of controls. Nice work. |
| Dec 13 19:31:00 | 7m 00s | Augmented Collector | Pretty cool idea! I found there were some clipping issues with the little screen. I imagine some camera culling filter fixes would help here. I like the concept a lot. I beat the game in about 4 minutes, fun! |
| Dec 13 19:37:00 | 6m 00s | Space Cargo | Very nice graphics! The backgrounds were especially nice. Felt very space-ey. I found the pace at which the drop ship could move to be a bit sluggish. It made the return trips a bit tedious. Nice touch with the opening text. Very funny :) |
| Dec 16 02:35:00 | 54h 58m | Orion | Excellent audio and graphics. I loved all the switches and stuff. One thing I found is that the windows that came up with the rocker/toggle switches closed to fast after the last switch was thrown. It would be neat if the last switch clicked the same as the others and there was a brief pause. I really enjoyed the screen shake and radio chatter effects. The mission itself was a bit misleading, as I thought once I reached near the red planet I would have to press the other buttons and do some other sequence of things. But I made it to the end, and it was pretty cool. Intermediate events requiring additional action (with radio chatter) would add a lot here I think. Overall excellent entry, very nice look and feel. Good work! |
| Dec 20 02:20:00 | 95h 45m | birdsong | Overall, v3ry well done. The graphical warp effect made me feel a bit nauseous, unfortunately. I didn't finish because of this, but I did like the graphical style and use of the collection of sticks and nests as save points. Well done! |
| Dec 20 02:29:00 | 9m 00s | Snowball juggling Olympio | This is really good! I love the expressions on the snowman's face. The juggling felt very tight, and hard, just like real life. I could only get up to 5 or 6 in the tutorial, but alas I am no good at juggling with real stuff either. Nicely done. |
