Dec 9 12:15:00 Wayang Awesome concept and presentation. One of the best voiceovers in any jam entry ever. Not sure about combat balance. Having the spitting thing appear from behind with two enemies in front sucked balls. Could work better if you'd allow player to move while blocking. Also jumping. Jumping would be good.

lonely2012
Dec 9 17:21:00 5h 06m Lone Nice minimalistic atmosphere!
Dec 9 17:38:00 17m 00s Landscaped Confinement I like the idea and atmosphere.

There's a bit too much of forcing screen anology near ending and final resolving is too easy for protagonist..

// caryoscelus
Dec 9 19:23:00 1h 45m Chin Chan Chow! Great presentation, both graphics and audio. Dig the concept. Had problems figuring out controls. Also it would be a good idea to place fighters in the middle of the screen, kinda easier to watch.

lonely2012
Dec 9 19:39:00 16m 00s My Weekend in Front of a Screen I like this.

Story comments:

Self-referential humor always works for LD, and it's implemented great here.

Lots of things are kinda oversimplified, but given time constraints that's ok. The most unnatural thing was probably how everybody praised themselves in the end :)

Also, details like mentioning proprietariness and console irc client added a lot to story immersion for me.

Engine comments:

Keyboard controls (space to continue, at least) would be nice and not hard to add.

Rollback (at least in form of text-only backlog) and some basic settings would be nice too, but IMO the most important thing is skipping read possibility to check branches without additional troubles.

Played in Firefox, btw. Couldn't see the difference with Chromium.

// caryoscelus
Dec 9 19:57:00 18m 00s Darumaban Holding space works as a hot key in firefox while in-game. It's difficult to move exactly one tile at a time for some reason. Feels counterintuitive.
Otherwise a good little puzzle game. Interesting twist on mechanics.
Dec 9 20:27:00 30m 00s Lost Path Brilliant cover art. Cool idea, but gameplay could use some variety and polish. Narration starts to feel patronizing rather quickly. One-screen thing doesn't add anything, except for pain in the ass when you start covering the edges. I get why it's done, it just doesn't seem very elegant.

lonely2012
Dec 9 20:41:00 14m 00s 20 Days at Sea You got me on human flesh.
At some point it seems to glitch making me swim only around the raft with no way to walk.

lonely2012
Dec 9 22:58:00 2h 17m Ludum Bark Beams Simple, straightforward, working, fun.

lonely2012
Dec 9 23:12:00 14m 00s A Grimm Journey Don't have any friends at hand.

lonely2012
Dec 9 23:25:00 13m 00s The Mosquito Effect (mosquito simulator) Had more fun with it then with Goat Simulator. Then again, always thought that watching paint dry is more fun then playing Goat Simulator.

lonely2012
Dec 10 14:04:00 14h 39m Council of Smiles Well done!

// caryoscelus
Dec 10 14:43:00 39m 00s Ab Intra This is so cool! Wish it would be longer.

// caryoscelus
Dec 10 15:00:00 17m 00s entropy Intriguing story. Will come later to check better endings ;)

// caryoscelus
Dec 13 14:20:00 71h 20m Daedal Beautiful game, simple and elegant mechanics. Fits the theme perfectly. But for some reason it runs really slow on my laptop.
Dec 13 14:30:00 10m 00s E' Tempo di Combattere You did good job making it informative. With an interesting and clearly defined arena, better shooting effects, animations in general and slightly more responsive movement controls it could be quite fun.

lonely2012
Dec 13 16:56:00 2h 26m To Fight The Sea Great ambient game, but a bit too frustrating to be a great shooter. Still, stunning visuals.

lonely2012
Dec 13 18:01:00 1h 05m Freedom Isn't Free A competent top down shooter. Nice mood.

lonely2012
Dec 14 01:15:00 7h 14m Shadow of the Shotgun Great idea, but gunplay and movement need polish. Also at times it's difficult to understand what the hell is going on because of the graphics. Everything is just too small and too grey.

lonely2012
Dec 15 22:58:00 45h 43m Simulacra in Space Looking past simplistic graphics, it's a cool little game. Get yourself an artist and don't make the movement that slow, you might achieve great things.
Also, why not pause time during simulations?

lonely2012
Dec 17 02:25:00 27h 27m Pit Lords Cool idea, would love to see it made with more informed choices. Also, could you add something like trait selection? Could be the only right way to make a dueling game that feels right.

lonely2012
Dec 26 19:06:00 232h 41m Sorceress Wars It looks really interesting, but knowing the rules would definitely help.

lonely2012
Dec 27 13:14:00 18h 08m Happy Ludumdare Great music and effects. pretty scary snowman.
Could use at least some exploration. The house is the most interesting part of the map, why would I go out, if outside it's mostly just invisible walls? I have no objects to collect, no real strategy to hide, and I know it's slenderclone, so what's coming hardly scares me.

lonely2012
Dec 27 13:22:00 8m 00s Das Tank Game A great game with bad controls and confusing perspective. Loved it, but it hurts. Tough loving game.

lonely2012
Dec 27 13:27:00 5m 00s Winter Cow Farm Funny. Probably one of the funniest I've played in this jam.
