Aug 25 06:28:00 World of Beatrice, the girl next door Cute and depressing, but that's the point. I would have liked it to be longer!
Aug 25 16:44:00 10h 16m Balance the Worlds Nice concept! Too bad you didn't get to implement the full gameplay, it looks like it could have been very interesting. The controls are a bit cumbersome though.
Aug 26 10:14:00 17h 30m Super Shaker X Very fun game! And ambitious indeed, with 3 characters and 4 planets. Simple but I enjoyed playing it a lot. Funny ending.
Aug 26 14:38:00 4h 24m WorldLink This has the potential for a good incremental game. Right now it's too basic but I'd like to see it expanded.
There are some big bugs. I made lots of money because when I landed somewhere, I had a negative number of cargo/passengers, and so I could fit a lot more than I had space for :) The UI was pretty intuitive but it needs some "max" button to fill to capacity, I had to do *a lot* of clicking.
Aug 26 15:15:00 37m 00s Meowrror Really cute puzzle game! I just love that cat's animations and sound. Great graphics and music, all around a very polished game.

The main issue is that there's no difficulty to speak of, apart from trying not to get fooled by the mirroring. As a result it feels very repetitive. Only the last level is slightly harder, but even then, you only have to plan 2 or 3 moves at a time. I also wished you could play a bit faster.

But props to you for trying to make a puzzle game. I think it's really hard to come up with good level design, on top of developing the game, in 48 hours.
Aug 26 15:23:00 8m 00s WORLDS 2D Fun concept with lots of potential! I was genuinely disappointed when it ended so soon.
Aug 26 15:44:00 21m 00s Sol Cool concept that gets interesting very quickly. Simple but clean graphics. Very polished feel overall, well done!

However, on the splash screen it says "music by <some guy who's probably not you>". If you used music you didn't make (or generate...) yourself, you're breaking the compo rules and this should be a jam entry. Please re read the rules at http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2014/04/25/rules-and-guide-re-written-for-maximum-clarity/ If you can't make music, you can use this generatator: http://abundant-music.com/
Aug 26 17:20:00 1h 36m Fight those Pirates Not a new idea, but nicely done and fun. Good job browncoat! Would have been nice to have some power ups.
Aug 26 17:49:00 29m 00s Connecting LD30 to the Real World Brilliant concept, congrats!
Aug 26 19:50:00 2h 01m Robbin' Hoods Cute and well made! Nice graphics and very fitting music. I would have played longer if there was a win state, to give some sense of progress. Very polished game, congrats.
Aug 26 20:19:00 29m 00s Interplanetary Bridge Builder Neat innovative game. It's missing a bit of challenge currently, but if you had more time for level design, I think it could become very interesting. The budget thing was a good idea to prevent you from abusing the 10+ rule.
Aug 27 17:22:00 21h 03m Stellar Nice game, it took me a while to really get what was going on, but when I did the concept seemed very good to me. The last level really brings it out. However, I didn't beat it because it was quite cumbersome to play with a trackpad. I would have changed it so that you don't need to drag all the way to the destination planet, only drag in that direction. Unless you intended the dragging accuracy to be part of the difficulty, but I don't find it very entertaining.
I also liked the graphics. Overall, great job!
Aug 27 17:40:00 18m 00s Level 1 Dentistry for Tooth Faeries Good start for a simple avoiding game. Too bad all the levels are basically identical, so it gets old very quickly. The floating texts are quite funny, but I had to look at the source code to read them, they're moving too quickly in the game :) I really like the visual effect when you pick up a tooth.
Aug 27 17:49:00 9m 00s Into Orbit Very simple concept, the best kind of concept! Solid execution, love how the title appears on the splash screen. Great job!
Aug 27 18:05:00 16m 00s Hello Worlds Great game! Very simple concept (the best kind of concept), with a solid execution.
I didn't think it was too hard, I only died once of twice. If anything, I think the later levels should be harder for a better sense of progression. It was probably a lot harder before you fixed the block ordering bug (but I'm glad you did, it would have been awful).
As it is, all the levels feel too similar. If you continue developing the game (which you should!), you should add more mechanics at the game progresses.
Aug 28 07:09:00 13h 04m Join Us! Nice game! The bullets that wrap around is a brilliant idea. It really makes this game stand out.
Aug 28 07:33:00 24m 00s Crossed SIgnals The concept great! It seems very simple at first, but levels 3-4 show that it has a lot of depth. I didn't complete level 5, however, because I got too frustrated by the god awful controls. I think the ball shouldn't move when you use the left or right arrow keys, only the camera should move. Again, the puzzle part was great, but the jumping part was extremely frustrating.
The music is hilarious!
Aug 28 07:56:00 23m 00s Stay in Fate Impressive amount of work for 48h! Even if I get the feeling you didn't finish it. I got to a second level with a huge enemy, that I defeated, then nothing. Is that the end or is there something I missed? I also didn't really see the connection with the theme.
I liked the background and music a lot.
Aug 28 08:26:00 30m 00s Simple Realms Nice little game, surprisingly fun! I'm not very good though (especially when the vegetation starts trying to kill you too) so I only made it to the boss of the second world. Good job!
Aug 28 08:58:00 32m 00s The MillionWood Awesome game! Fits right in the theme, trippy graphics and music, and good level design. I haven't finished it yet, but I might try again later. That (last, I hope?) level where the top left guy must drop to a stone platform below then hop on three black things is just diabolical.
It always amazes me how some people can code a game and produce so much level design, in 48 hours.
I loved your LD29 entry as well, keep up the great work!
Aug 28 17:55:00 8h 57m GalEx - We Connect Worlds! Nice interpretation of the theme! Simple and fun gameplay. I also dig the clean simple graphics. Would have been nice to have some music!

I gave up on the last level after a dozen tries, wrote this comment, went back... and beat it on first try :)
Aug 28 18:10:00 15m 00s A Brief Excursion Nice start, the procedural worlds are well done. But it would be more fun if you could kill the bats, or maybe have some indication of where the thing you're supposed to find is?
Aug 28 18:46:00 36m 00s Sandbox Battle Very innovative and intriguing concept. The particle effects where you can see every grain of sand are really nice.
The gameplay is a bit confusing though. You say "colliding with other players will steal their sand". But if you're colliding with them, they're colliding with you... So it's not clear to me who will steal from whom, even after playing a couple of times. I played with a friend, she hid in in the bottom right corner, and I couldn't manage to steal her sand.
Aug 28 19:20:00 34m 00s Worldco Quit a nice game if I do say so myself!

The gameplay is really well thought through, except for one thing: there's nothing preventing you from waiting for hours before starting, collecting tons of money, then building 5 links everywhere. You can say "but the high scores!" but I don't think that works. There are the highscores, but I don't think that's enough. In a game like that, you shouldn't have to worry about highscores until you've beaten a level at least once. Here, if you don't care about highscores, the game becomes almost trivial. This could be fixed easily with a time limit for instance.

Apart from this flaw, it's a really solid game, congrats!
Aug 28 19:31:00 11m 00s Ctrl-I This is not working for me either :/ I'm on a Mac (10.9.4), I've tried Firefox and Chrome, and in both cases I can only see the paddles. No bricks, no ball, no nothing. There's no error in the js console either.
It's a shame, it looks like a really fun game.
Aug 28 19:49:00 18m 00s OtherWorld Interesting concept! I liked the intro and the gameplay. I wish there were more levels.

However, as other people have said, you cannot enter this in the compo if you haven't made the sprites. It's not fair to people who comply with the rules. You can enter it in the jam though.
Aug 28 20:20:00 31m 00s HEDGE HUNTERS I really like your take on the theme! Changing the enemies into healers is innovative and fits well.

However, there are a couple of problems with the gameplay. First of all, it starts really slowly. It takes a long time for there to be enough hunters that you can't just hide in a corner. There should already be some hunters scattered when you start the game.
Second, the collision with hunters doesn't work very well. Most of the time you can just run past them and nothing happens. Also, there should be feedback of some sort when you get hit.

All in all it needs some work but it's a great effort. Keep at it!
Aug 29 06:03:00 9h 43m Princess Color Nice little platformer, a bit unforgiving to my taste. It's not nice to make me start from scratch when I get hit a single time :/ Collision with coins could also use some work. I used the block on the left to cheat and look at all the levels anyway, which was useful for rating.
Nice story and take on the theme!
Aug 29 07:34:00 1h 31m Double Take Good demo, could have been a really nice entry if you'd had more time.
Aug 29 07:51:00 17m 00s Lava Is Last Nice fun entry. I like this kind of game, although sometimes I had to guess, and I'm still not sure what the reasoning is in the level before last. The sounds effects are hilarious. Good job!
(I didn't notice the message in the corner until I read one of the comments, because the game was too big to fit on my 13" laptop screen, so the top was cut off while I was playing)
Aug 29 08:33:00 42m 00s Torn Between Worlds I really like the concept, but the problem is that when you're in the blue world, you have no way of timing your jump back to the red world to avoid certain death by fireball. If you could see the two worlds side by side maybe that would have helped. Otherwise great idea and fits in the theme perfectly, nicely done.
(and I'm on mac so I went out of my way to install half a dozen lib and compile this from source, because your screenshot was intriguing!)
Aug 29 08:43:00 10m 00s DimLey Really fun puzzle game. I would have liked more levels. I didn't feel like the being able to shoot in the second part added anything though. Extra points for having an intro.
Aug 29 08:53:00 10m 00s TechKnights Links don't work for me.

Also, if you didn't make (or generate, see http://abundant-music.com/ and http://www.bfxr.net/) the music/sfx yourself, you cannot enter this game in the compo. It doesn't matter if the music is free, for compo you have to make it yourself in the 48 hours. You can enter it in the jam however, where the rules are more lenient.
Aug 29 12:00:00 3h 07m Planetary Conformity Awesome puzzle game with lots of levels. The mechanics take a while to sink in but later levels get really interesting. However, I got stuck on "blockade" :/ Can you give me a hint?

The graphics are very smooth and clean. A few UI tweaks that could make it even better:
- More obvious highlighting of the currently selected planet
- Explanation and or more visual feedback about the radius of action
- More obvious difference between military and fortified planets. I kept forgetting which was wich. Alternatively, an on screen cheat sheet might do.

Great job overall!
Aug 29 12:15:00 15m 00s VENN Cool concept that I feel could be taken a lot farther with more/better level design. The current levels feel a bit repetitive and in my opinion don't do full justice to this awesome idea.

I have a lot of respect for all the people who have made puzzle games, I couldn't possibly code a game and come up with good levels in 48 hours.

The music is terrific and gives a great mood to the game.
I hope you make a post LD version!
Aug 29 13:55:00 1h 40m Connected buddies I like the simple clean graphics and the concept was promising. I really wish there were more levels! I hope you make a post LD version.

I think it's not just beginners who think too big for, everybody has this problem :)
Aug 29 14:06:00 11m 00s Tangled Chalkboard Planets Nice presentation, very polished game. Would have liked more levels!

Win detection is pretty buggy. You can cheat by putting planets on a line, which makes the game think some of the lines of that planet start on one side, and others start on the other side of the line. In truth, they should all be seen as starting from the center of the planet.
Aug 30 20:59:00 30h 53m Connected Words Very fun innovative game. It really makes you appreciate how nonsensical some (most?) of these tweets are.
Definitely a favorite. Great job!
Aug 30 21:27:00 28m 00s kunektd Nice little exploration game. I had fun playing it and I wish it was longer, so good job :)

Hint to anyone stuck on the third level: when everything is square, walls and people look alike.
Aug 30 22:25:00 58m 00s Intergalacticnet Simple fun gameplay, great graphics, fitting music and hilarious dialogue. Overall very solid entry, great job! But god I'm terrible at this game :]
Sep 16 18:28:00 404h 03m 1492 It's a really nice game, but it's sad that you got #27 for music that you didn't make. It's not fair to everyone that follows the rules of the compo. Next time, please either make the music yourself or enter your game in the "jam" category.
