Aug 26 16:26:00 Martian Sock Challenge Haha, funny little game. :) I got to 47, and then my eyes started to hurt from looking too long at quickly rotating socks. ;)
Aug 27 14:43:00 22h 17m Hermes Express Lovely take on the theme, I liked it! I played until I got stuck in the walls after flying. I often 'died' to get to Hades quickly. ;) Nice artwork as well!
Aug 30 22:40:00 79h 57m GalEx - We Connect Worlds! Indeed, a very similar story-idea. :)
Cool graphics!
Aug 31 17:47:00 19h 07m The Bifrost Project Took me a while to see when a "bridge" is created, and after that it was a bit hectic - it seems to me that you have to babysit every planet all the time, and the orbits rarely if ever yield stable bridges. Perhaps the biggest improvement is on the audio front though, it helps a LOT to be notified when a new event starts, bridges are constructed or destroyed, and when the game ends. Still, nice job getting this much done without any libraries!
Aug 31 18:12:00 25m 00s Psychiatric Hospital Blech, that maze is just cruel! I tried to shake my head in sync but still got nauseous. Nice minigame entry, the layout of the hospital could have been a little more interesting, and I think there were some spelling errors.
Aug 31 18:22:00 10m 00s Stomper Nice puzzle game!
Aug 31 18:35:00 13m 00s Treasure Transferral Indeed, nice concept, but the controls were a bit funny. Sometimes I could pick up the chest, sometimes not.
Aug 31 18:43:00 8m 00s The Catapult Nice job, pretty elaborate game for the compo! Funny story too. Improvements: the music doesn't fit the mood very well (and stutters a lot on the web version). I also have to agree with Moosefly on the penis-thing... The biggest problem for me was the slow walking speed.
Aug 31 18:53:00 10m 00s Isles of Elona Got stuck at a portal, or maybe the loading time was just too long for my patience. As others said, impressive to try a multiplayer online game, but there's currently no fun-factor in it.
Aug 31 19:26:00 33m 00s Enduring Atlas Fantastic atmosphere, the drawn style, calm gameplay and meditative music go very well together. The mechanic does seem broken to me though: since darkness has the first move, it can keep stacking in the left column, abusing the exponential increase in force. As far as I could see, there is no way for light to break this or catch up in any way.

Best regards from a fellow Dutch team! (See Connecting LD30 to the Real World by Will Edwards)
Aug 31 19:49:00 23m 00s Don't Eat Cute Awesome, a Nigerian (?) game! (Found it through "Connecting LD30 to the Real World" by Will Edwards).

Cool style, in the opening screen already with the icons. It reminds me a lot of some ~20 year old games I used to play on the Mac.

I think the gameplay could get a little more complex (maybe it does, but the game froze on level 3 or something), and random appearances don't feel very fair.
Aug 31 20:06:00 17m 00s Frozen Mirror Innovative gameplay with these mirrors! I liked the snowman and how he melts when he is around warm things.
Aug 31 20:37:00 31m 00s Skyland - A Disconnected World Most addicting game yet in my opinion, I also like how the controls work - a nice change from the typical way. As others said, the difficulty curve needs some work, and it's very frustrating to reach an island and be killed by a demon the moment you change the lair into a house...
Sep 2 11:13:00 38h 36m Shared World Cool idea, I'd like to create something like this sometime :D Too bad it's so buggy and there's not much gameplay, but props for trying.
Sep 2 11:17:00 4m 00s Siphon - Ent Garr Fon Kull When I try to register I get the following:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method System::log() in /home/abacadaba/domains/ld30.lotusgame.com/public_html/Application/Controllers/User/Auth.php on line 95

:'(
Sep 2 12:49:00 1h 32m Siege From Above I like the scoring system where bullets cost points, and how the UFO's on the left become harder to target as they get lower. As others said, the high scores are a really big plus. I didn't know about but gmscoreboard website! I'll probably use it in the future too :-)
Only thing is that in your game, submission doesn't seem to work on Firefox :-( I got 1900+ points but since your game appears to have mixed content (http/https) Firefox somehow prevented my score from being sent. Instead I manually submitted my score, with a little bonus for the extra effort.
Sep 2 22:20:00 9h 31m A Ludic Proof of the Difficulties Inherent in Finding a Proper Skull Nice, I was afraid I got stuck but it seems you just have to dig around for a few identical days. The dialogue seems very well-written to me, the colors/design could have used some work. I'd like to point out another typo, "meditations meditations" on one page.
Sep 3 10:13:00 11h 53m Massive Relay The only thing that seems to matter is reaching the right system? (Sol, Gliese or Alpha Centauri) The ring-back-, ring- and listen-buttons didn't do anything for me. The idea could probably work somehow, but I think it's hard to not make the game overly chaotic.

For the next LD I would advise you to go for a minimal working example first (before e.g. adding a lot of names for the planets), and to join the jam instead of the compo. Submitting a finished game is so much more satisfying.
Sep 4 23:45:00 37h 32m Friendly Baubles Cool idea, took me a while to figure out how it worked. Very cool how you recorded the music yourself, though it doesn't really fit the game in my opinion.
Sep 5 17:43:00 17h 58m Crack The Market Reminds me a lot of Escape Velocity, if you've never played it I recommend it ;) I missed a winning criterion, making a certain amount of money for example. It would also have been nice if the enemies would show up depending on what you bought (the police came after me even when I had just oranges or even nothing). Surprising how brave the attackers are btw, relying only on boarding tactics against a ship that fires missiles at them...
Sep 6 17:40:00 23h 57m Rift Knight Very nice game!
Sep 7 15:06:00 21h 26m Flip Out! Nice game! Like mentioned above, it would have been nice if it would have had more levels. :)
Sep 7 15:32:00 26m 00s Galactic Pest Control Nice game! I like how the spiders move around. It is quite addicting once you get the hang of it. I got to 1485 so far. :)
Sep 9 21:31:00 53h 59m Galactic Planet Wrangler Haha, great! I liked the music! But the sound effects of the planets that you drag along get a bit too much after a while. Also, since the background is not moving at all, it is sometimes a bit hard to see where you are going. Great take on the theme. ^^
Sep 10 10:18:00 12h 47m Bipolar World Very nice game!
Sep 10 10:34:00 16m 00s Twin Worlds I like the idea, but the pictures are not that telling - I feel they should fit into a common theme. I completed it on easy just by remembering the right sequence and sometimes clicking randomly. The music is very unfitting. I do like how the clouds obscure the pictures.
Sep 10 11:20:00 46m 00s Space Transport Tycoon We considered going for this kind of game :D I played it for some time, it seems the initial conditions are quite important for your success. The game is quite hard to grasp. It took me some time to figure out that by ctrl-clicking I could import/export multiple resources, it would have been better to have a checkbox interface for this, or better yet selecting a product and a direction (if one planet exports you always want the other to import). Also, it's not very easy to figure out effective trade routes, especially because of the limited view. I like the animations of the ships and cargo floating to/from the planets. I think the best improvement would be to give the player a concrete, reachable goal to finish the game.
Sep 16 15:17:00 147h 57m Galactic Dump Kepler disapproves. I love the music.
