| Apr 28 03:36:00 | Submersion | The controls were a bit hard to get my head around, and at some point I got stuck in a spin and that became frustrating. Aside from that, I thought the map was fantastic and I had a lot of fun exploring the depths. | |
| Apr 28 03:41:00 | 5m 00s | Lost Villages | I really liked the concept and the mechanics, but it was missing a challenge, there was nothing stopping me digging every tile, I wasn't racing a clock, or trying to avoid anything, I could just dig dig dig and finish the level. Aside from that though, I thought this had a lot of potential. |
| Apr 28 03:46:00 | 5m 00s | Metal Meter Madness | Very cool, I liked the overall mechanics of the game, and the audio was fantastic (you got 5 stars for that!) I found a small bug when I spawned inside some beach goers and couldn't move.. |
| Apr 28 03:58:00 | 12m 00s | Effin' Rats | I liked the hand drawn feel of the graphics. I got tired of waiting for the balls to despawn so I could shoot again though. |
| Apr 28 04:06:00 | 8m 00s | Room Cleaning Simulator 2014 | This had me in stitches, the first time I rolled on the floor I burst out laughing. Wonderful entry, the art style (while simplistic) is great, the sound track I enjoyed, made me think of the gameboy colour era. |
| Apr 28 04:15:00 | 9m 00s | Bellhook | I have no idea what a bell hook is. I was intruiged by this game though and I did have a bit of fun figuring out what to do. Your art style was wonderful, very well made assets. I ran into a bug after my third catch though, everything stopped spawning. |
| Apr 28 04:22:00 | 7m 00s | Side B, Track 1 | LIGHTCYCLES!!! You get points because they're my absolute favourite thing ever and Tron is amazing. That aside, I had a few issues like the AI driving off the edge of the world over and over, and the weird overpowered engine that almost flipped my bike if I went full throttle. The map could have been a bit bigger and the physics need some tweaking, but I really enjoyed this game! |
| Apr 28 04:28:00 | 6m 00s | Tentacle Potato Defence | Giving you 5 stars for audio because your SFX were amazing. I found this game tough and frustrating and I apparantly suck at resource management. But it was a great entry nonetheless! |
| Apr 28 04:32:00 | 4m 00s | Atomicle - LostAutumn.net | Solid and simple mechanics and concept, executed wonderfully. Its visual style and audio was fantastic. A very well produced game, without even considering it was completed within 48 hours. Bravo sir! |
| Apr 28 06:14:00 | 1h 42m | Planet Scan-it | I told you already on IRC how jealous I am of this, you somehow telepathically stole a concept that I've been toying with over the last few months and executed it perfectly. The scaling of objects, the structure of the solar system, the orbital mechanics and the newtonian physics, this is my dream game. I absolutely love this entry and I think if you put a few months of effort into making it into a full blown game it'd take off (pun intended) |
| Apr 30 03:01:00 | 44h 47m | Beneath the surface with Sir Walter Wuffington | I really love the mechanics and your concept, moving between top down and side on was a great idea, I'd love to see some polish on this game I think it has a lot of potential. |
| Apr 30 03:04:00 | 3m 00s | Beneath Wireframe | This game was TOUUUUUGH! It took me a while to figure out what I was doing, and even after that I found it very hard. This is a great little concept though and I think with some polish on it you could actually market it. |
| Apr 30 03:12:00 | 8m 00s | Beneath your feet | Creepy. As. Heck. |
| Apr 30 03:15:00 | 3m 00s | Bionic Hotdog | uhmmmmmmm |
| Apr 30 03:19:00 | 4m 00s | Bitxl's Kool Place | I love this concept! Brilliant just purely brilliant. I really REALLY wish this was longer. Giving the player the ability to edit the source code of your game as part of the gameplay, I love it. |
| Apr 30 03:26:00 | 7m 00s | Deep Dome | Loved the filter / gprahics style, was great. Also the gameplay was a lot of fun, I loved the combination of flying / racing / shooting and having WASD to fly while aiming with the mouse was great. My type of game! (made me think of starfox on the n64) |
| Apr 30 03:30:00 | 4m 00s | FFFLOWWW | Very neat experiment! I liked it :) |
| Apr 30 03:38:00 | 8m 00s | Wriggle Worm | The graphics were nice and clean and the gameplay/mechanics were very solid. movement is smooth and enjoyable. I liked being a worm. |
| Apr 30 03:42:00 | 4m 00s | No Eyes Willy | Laughed so hard when I cleaned my Willy for the first time. Cool little game, nice solid mechanics. I'd have liked to see another layer of challenge on top of just navigating the map, like a limited amount of bridges or something. But for the 48 hours this is great. |
| Apr 30 03:49:00 | 7m 00s | Geology Rocks | OK! I'll admit it, I cheated! |
| Apr 30 03:54:00 | 5m 00s | Inside Look Activity Book | I thought this was going to be pleasant and almost like a children's story book. I feel very uncomfortable right now. |
| Apr 30 04:59:00 | 1h 05m | Above and Beyond | I was a little confused as to what the goal was at first but I got the hang of it, I felt though a little bored as the match progressed it didn't really get more difficult and I felt it wasn't going anywhere. It was a nice concept though, I could see something like this being used in a children's game to help educate them about conditions such as depression. |
| Apr 30 05:33:00 | 34m 00s | Mine Story | I really enjoyed this game, the concept was sound. I loved the upgrade system the most, second best to the sound track. I was very impressed with your audio. |
| Apr 30 05:54:00 | 21m 00s | The Creature Beneath | Nice graphical style, the music was lovely too. The first puzzle was a little tough, and the avatar moved gratingly slow. And as has been said, starting over on death was a kick in the pants. |
| Apr 30 05:59:00 | 5m 00s | Kill or Kill | Dark and twisted, lack of animations were a bit of a downer but I still liked the overall graphical style. Starting over from the start basically killed it (pun intended) for me. |
| Apr 30 06:05:00 | 6m 00s | Please Come Back | It's ok, I wanted those feels anyway.
*wipes a tear away quickly*
I found this terribly depressing, it's a very well made game and I'm honestly moved after playing it, well done. |
| Apr 30 06:09:00 | 4m 00s | Lim | So depressing, lovely poetry though, nice work. |
| Apr 30 06:25:00 | 16m 00s | Shanghai | At first I was terribly confused about what was going on an how to play this game, but I stuck to it and eventually figured it out and found myself playing over and over, I wasted a good 30 minutes on this one. The gameplay is great, once you figure it out. I think my favorite part though was the sound track, really cool! Made me think of the 40's and that's awesome. |
| Apr 30 06:27:00 | 2m 00s | MBTS | Found this game really hard, little ghosty bastards have good eyes! |
| Apr 30 06:34:00 | 7m 00s | Through Shadows | I liked this, while your graphics were very simple I appreciate how difficult 3d modelling is and was impressed. |
| Apr 30 06:40:00 | 6m 00s | Space Driller | This was a great entry you guys did really well with this one. I immediately experienced nostalgia and it reminded me intensely of my childhood playing games the ilk of Duke Nukem1/2 etc. Captured the mood perfectly, the music was fantastic, the art was brilliant and the gameplay was the icing on the cake. The feeling I had when I upgraded my drill and went and stuck it to those ghosty bastards was awesome. Great job guys! |
| Apr 30 06:43:00 | 3m 00s | punk n roll | Loved the graphics and audio, great feel! The controls were extremely unwieldy, I couldnt aim and use my tongue at the same time, i'd suggest using the mouse or something like that in future. I'd love to see this one finished, its a great tribute to a great classic. |
| Apr 30 06:45:00 | 2m 00s | Channels | your web link makes me download a .rar |
| Apr 30 06:48:00 | 3m 00s | Underline | Lovely game, I'm embarrassed by how long it took me to figure out why I was bumping into invisible walls. |
| May 1 00:44:00 | 17h 56m | Emotion Lord: Within The Heart | Neat concept, I felt like I was stealing souls though, not copying emotions. I really liked the soundtrack, good job there. I felt un-challenged though, I would have liked to be able to do more with the souls...I mean emotions, other than just unlocking doors. I think you could take this concept and mold it into quite a good game if you put some more time and thought into core game mechanics. |
| May 1 00:49:00 | 5m 00s | To Surface | Very well done indeed, I almost didn't try it out because I'm avoiding downloading anything this LD, but then I saw it was a PDF and it blew my mind. Fantastic work. |
| May 1 00:59:00 | 10m 00s | Deepweb | Tough little game, loved the concept though. I couldn't get very far into it due to sucking so bad, which was a shame because I felt I could have enjoyed it more. |
| May 1 01:01:00 | 2m 00s | Project Tethys | Neat little game, I liked the graphics albeit their simplicity and I thought the audio was great. Would have liked to see more in the way of upgrades or something to that effect to break up the monotony of click-spamming and give more reason to continue playing. |
| May 1 23:55:00 | 22h 54m | Beneath The Surface | Really liked the concept, and it was very well executed. Nice and solid gameplay with no bugs (that I could see). Quite a fun little game, very good entry. Good job! |
| May 2 00:13:00 | 18m 00s | HammerHead in the Sea of Monsters | I loved this game! Thought it had heaps of content, the AI on the creatures worked really well, the big red crabby bastards kind of scared me with their grabby arms. Good job! |
| May 2 01:35:00 | 1h 22m | LLOYD | Try as I might I couldnt progress the story past the cigarette packet. |
| May 3 01:29:00 | 23h 54m | THE SKIES ARE A FALLIN' | Very neat concept |
| May 3 01:44:00 | 15m 00s | Gubble Quest | Gubble is adorable! |
| May 3 01:50:00 | 6m 00s | COVERUP | Very cool, I had to tab back to read the instructions at first to figure out what to do. Would be great to see it with some polish and a few more features like a timer or some form of "stress" factor, like the aliens spreading or something.
Nice work though! |
| May 3 01:55:00 | 5m 00s | FedIt! | Tough! |
| May 3 02:01:00 | 6m 00s | Beneath The Lab | Graphics were pretty cool though I wasn't impressed with the portal-esque style narrator. Couldn't quite get my head around the concept though and couldn't advance very far through the levels. I think with a bit more time put into explaining the mechanics and perhaps a bit of polish this could be a decent game.
Good work! |
| May 3 02:02:00 | 1m 00s | AHH LAVA! | web version appears to be down, sad because this looks fun! :( |
| May 3 02:06:00 | 4m 00s | Troubles beneath the surface | dat sonar ping! ouch! I found the controls a bit unwieldy, felt like I went upwards quite slow, ended up dying from lack of oxygen pretty early on. The music was pretty decent though and I thought the graphics were neat (albeit simplistic) |
| May 3 02:12:00 | 6m 00s | Treasure Hunter | Nice work on this you did well to make something like this within the time constraints, had fun playing it too. |
| May 3 02:16:00 | 4m 00s | Life story | Couldn't play past the water (overwhelming fear of water levels). But I really liked what I saw up until then. |
| May 3 02:18:00 | 2m 00s | Mole Position | That mole is so freaking cute hahaha. Nice work, simple and solid. |
| May 3 02:21:00 | 3m 00s | Hiya Haystack | hahaahah pretty funny, the audio was a bit grating and it took me far too long to figure out that the game had actually started and that I was the hay O.O |
| May 3 02:24:00 | 3m 00s | Shady has to eat | Pretty neat, I liked how I could use the clouds to avoid sunburn. |
| May 3 02:26:00 | 2m 00s | Roots | Very cool concept, your artwork was really nice, Yggdrasil in particular. Would love to see this all finished up with a bit of spit n' shine on it ;) |
| May 3 02:28:00 | 2m 00s | Monster Pit | Music was a bit too loud and full on, would have liked to be able to turn it off or down. Good work though and good interpretation of the theme. |
| May 3 02:33:00 | 5m 00s | Totems & Gods | Really nice work, the graphics were fantastic, and the music was amazing. The sound effects though, were creepy as heck. Beautiful entry! |
| May 3 02:38:00 | 5m 00s | Baconizers: Into The Abyss | Loved the graphics and most of all the audio, the way the music faded as you went deeper was really cool! |
| May 3 02:54:00 | 16m 00s | Clobsters | Played this one with my SO and we had a lot of fun, lots of laughs. The physics were crazy and we couldn't figure them out, kept spinning around all over the place. I loved how the ring kept shrinking, very nice touch. I think if you polished up the audio this could be a really good game. |
| May 3 03:04:00 | 10m 00s | New Dawn | This is really cool, the storytelling is impressive. I very much wanted to advance the plot but for the life of me couldn't figure out how... |
| May 4 01:08:00 | 22h 04m | Deeper | Have to agree with everyone else here, was left wanting more. |
| May 4 01:14:00 | 6m 00s | Fishing On The Ice | Nice work, I thought the sub battle was pretty funny. I did get a little frustrated by the number of fish (not enough) and the number of missiles that hit the ice (too many). I thought the graphics were very neat though and this was a good entry. |
| May 4 01:19:00 | 5m 00s | Journey to the Center of the Hole | omg that was so fricking scary. Audio was awesome, SFX were also great, the way the monster sounded louder as he got closer added to the atmosphere (and adrenaline). Fantastic game, great work, bravo! |
| May 4 01:25:00 | 6m 00s | Down the snail hole | Very cool, was a good bit of fun. Some criticism - the SFX were a bit intense and I had to turn my headphones down. The controls seemed slightly bugged where each time I dug I had to reselect all my ants. And I had snails on the last level just run off into the terrain where I couldnt reach them.
I love love LOVE the music though, very nice. That and your graphics are really neat. This is a great entry! |
| May 4 01:27:00 | 2m 00s | Hide Them | Pretty cool, loved the music! |
| May 4 01:31:00 | 4m 00s | Ant Slaves | Cool, got a bit too bright with too many ants in the one place. Nice graphics and innovative concept on controls. |
| May 13 02:14:00 | 216h 43m | It Came from Beneath the Surface: Wormgun | I played way too much of this, amazing concept, loads of fun, very innovative. Some minor bugs in the physics but aside from that I thought this was perfect. Wonderful entry! |
| May 13 02:19:00 | 5m 00s | Metal Beneath Skin | Took me a while before I could spot my avatar, neat concept, I really didn't enjoy the sound effects, a lot of the poke audio sounded like you recorded them in a hurricane (breathing directly into the mic) and the megaphone sound basically deafened me. |
| May 13 02:21:00 | 2m 00s | Cave Beneath The Surface | Looks like your webserver is down. |
| May 14 03:20:00 | 24h 59m | Membrane | Awesome concept, very cool indeed. I found it very tough to play (hard game!) but I still had a lot of fun. I gave you 5 stars for innovation. |
| May 14 03:30:00 | 10m 00s | Rats Under My Skin | I was a kitty, I was cute as hell. Great concept, loved the wall leaping and the idea behind unlocking new parts of the level. |
| May 14 03:34:00 | 4m 00s | Upper Crust | Very neat game, loved the concept of switching above and below ground, loved the music, loved your art style. Nice work! |
