|---|---|---|---|
| Dec 17 03:57:00 | NONEX | Very nice aesthetics, and good fun. I'd have preferred to skip the first level and get into the action faster. | |
| Dec 17 06:54:00 | 2h 57m | THE CONDEMNED | Really very nice. The combined keyboard and mouse controls were a little awkward, but didn't detract much. |
| Dec 17 07:00:00 | 6m 00s | Pirate Scum | Unfortunately doesn't run for me. Extracted the zip, ran the executable and seemingly nothing happened. A process appeared in task manager but nothing else. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit. |
| Dec 17 07:32:00 | 32m 00s | A Peril of Pauline's | A very neat game. Something it took me embarrassingly long to work out is how the signals actually function, so for future players:
Red means the train goes straight on, blue means it turns. If the train is coming at the junction from the correct direction, of course. |
| Dec 17 07:39:00 | 7m 00s | The Twist | Just delightful!
The visual effect of the moustache stretching out is really well done (although occasionally briefly glitches out). Took me a while to realise you need to make quite rapid movements to actually catch the coins, but that adds to the feel of rapid moustache twirling. |
| Dec 17 07:59:00 | 20m 00s | STOP Hero Quest | A little let down by the interface (something to show what tiles have minions on would help a lot), but a neat concept and very pleasing once you're able to send out swarms of minions. |
| Dec 17 13:54:00 | 5h 55m | Save the princess | Nice work making so much in the time allowed. There's a couple of places where the text is misleading, but made it through to the end. I got the "failed to be evil, failed to be good" conclusion, which sounds about right. |
| Dec 17 14:18:00 | 24m 00s | Zombie Salvation | Controls are pretty fiddly but it's a neat idea and otherwise well implemented. |
| Dec 17 14:31:00 | 13m 00s | YOU ARE WASPS | Really excellent. I love how the wasp swarm moves and pulses in when you sting. Both funny and well polished. Even the music sounds like wasps.
My only problem with it was that the framerate seemed to drop off after a while of playing. Still comfortable to play, but not ideal.

But yeah, really nicely made game. |
| Dec 17 20:24:00 | 5h 53m | The Amazing Weregoat Burglar | Graphics and sound are very well done. Definitely could do some improving on how the game plays, but very good looking stuff. |
| Dec 17 20:47:00 | 23m 00s | Conquest Of The Mayans | The effect of acting on particular events isn't too clear, but their flavour has a pleasant darkly comic feel. |
| Dec 17 20:50:00 | 3m 00s | TEK45 | Definitely unfinished :)
But good work getting something working. |
| Dec 17 20:56:00 | 6m 00s | (Tie One Woman to a Train Track and Suddenly) I'm the Badguy | Both amusing and a good solid mechanic. Every game should have a "laugh evilly" button.
Really well done. |
| Dec 17 21:03:00 | 7m 00s | Hide 'n' Seek | Doesn't run for me, "could not find main class: Frame"
I extracted the contents of the zip file out into an empty folder, tried to run the Hide 'n' Seek.jar file. Windows 7 64-bit |
| Dec 17 21:28:00 | 25m 00s | The Legend of Sneak Ninja Kill | Very neat to get a working Gameboy ROM made, well done.
The game itself is nice too! The line of sight detection seemed to work fine for me, after a little time learning how it functions. I made it to the end, only had to kill a couple of people. |
| Dec 17 23:36:00 | 2h 08m | The Evil Space-Hippie | Good work! The blurring effect on forward movement is particularly nice. I didn't manage to destroy humanity, and was put off trying more than a couple of times by the unskippable intro text. |
| Dec 17 23:58:00 | 22m 00s | Infidel | Nice stuff. Some sound indicating that a guard has spotted you would go a long way though. |
| Dec 18 00:07:00 | 9m 00s | Unsave the Princess | Really nice and tidy game. Tight design.
Had a small graphical glitch for me which created tiny gaps between the map's tiles. |
| Dec 18 00:11:00 | 4m 00s | Missile Bombardment | I could see it being a good stress relief toy. The physics on the exploding buildings is pleasantly over the top. |
| Dec 18 15:11:00 | 15h 00m | CYBERQUEEN | Just brilliant. |
