Apr 24 01:20:00 ARACHNID The graphics, sound, and music are all top-notch for a 48-hour entry. The control is well-executed and the game is fun. I love coming back to my webbing to find new insects caught there. Gameplay is a tad bit on the shallow side (not much to do once you've built your nest except rack up a high score), but overall, I think this is an amazing entry.
Apr 24 03:09:00 1h 49m 6 Degrees of Sabotage Very solid, well-rounded game. The graphics and sound serve the concept very well, and the atmosphere is superb. Plus, I love any game where deduction is involved. It might be considered a tenuous connection to the theme, but I'm still giving Theme four (4) stars for being a unique and justified interpretation on the concept of a "tiny world."
Apr 24 16:06:00 12h 57m Tiny World I like the death sound effect, but the rest are far too loud and shrill to be enjoyable. The graphics are weird, but enjoyable; the animating squares in the background and the trail effect behind the player are well done and add a lot of visual appeal, even if it is a bit busy. The gameplay is basic, but solid. However, the level design relies a bit too much on trial-and-error and "leaps of faith" in my opinion. Overall, it's okay, but definitely nice for a first entry.
Apr 24 23:23:00 7h 17m Mage Duel Very nicely done. The graphic effects and sound are very pleasing, and the gameplay is fun. I was a big fan of Scorched Earth back in the day, and although playing against your previous run isn't always the most fun, it works quite well overall.
Apr 25 01:30:00 2h 07m Montezuma's Tomb The jumping controls seem unfairly specific for such an already difficult game. I would look into allowing a person to jump onto an adjacent ledge from a standstill. As it is currently, you have to build momentum first, which can be very difficult on narrow ledges. Otherwise, a decent, albeit brutally difficult, game.
Apr 25 14:46:00 13h 16m Planet 161 I love the plunger gun! Reminds me of Quackshot! for the Sega Genesis.
Apr 26 22:41:00 31h 55m Tinysasters I really enjoyed the way generated tiles would shove out existing tiles at the edges. It added a layer of puzzle-solving to the game. :)
Apr 27 01:09:00 2h 28m T in Y World This is an amazing concept for a game. I love that you can build your own levels, complete with your own rules. A basic concept like "search and replace" has been expanded into a fun and unique game. 5 stars overall!
Apr 27 11:22:00 10h 13m stack::tracer() Very cool puzzle mechanic. I'd say this is definitely work expanding upon. Well done!
May 2 03:58:00 112h 36m Bacterial World Very enjoyable entry. I love the style and the cute little white blood cell chasing down the germ. :)
May 2 04:53:00 55m 00s Claustrophobia The mood is fantastic. I like the soothing sound of the rain, as well.
May 2 14:48:00 9h 55m Combat Cube Getting a free kill on someone locked into a fight with someone else is very satisfying. Being locked into a fight with someone can take awhile though and is a little tedious. Overall, though, I like it!
May 6 15:42:00 96h 54m Super Strict Farmer This game is amazingly well-polished and fun to play! 5 Stars!
May 6 21:09:00 5h 27m It's a tab Very creative and well-executed. Painful on the eyes, but at least the game is short and sweet.
May 7 00:00:00 2h 51m Circus Flea The voice-over was adorable and entertaining. I gave you 4 stars on Audio only because the jump sound became rather annoying fairly quickly. Other than that, an excellent game all around!
May 8 19:32:00 43h 32m Massive Attract Very clean and simple idea. Well executed. The ambiance during play was nice.
May 8 20:34:00 1h 02m A Theft of Mass I didn't find the controls to be all that bad once I got the hang of it. I've played games with similar controls on a ship (Ship Chip Lander from Cosmic Osmo, for instance) that were a LOT harder to handle. I loved the idea of purchasing a Mass Storage Container to steal the core and fly away!
May 9 12:28:00 15h 54m World Panic! The music is great and the Earth is adorable. The bullet patterns and the fact that each Planet has its own distinct style helped make each level fun to play through.
May 9 17:50:00 5h 22m Overpopulous The music and style were both top-notch, and the game, though simple, was a blast to play! Very nice job!
May 9 21:50:00 4h 00m Microscopia Cool concept. Does a very good job of establishing mood from something very simple. Felt like "Where's Waldo?" at times, but in a good way.
May 10 00:09:00 2h 19m Burning Platform I'm very impressed that you were able to code something like this entirely on a tablet for the competition. I'd say that's a pretty nice "meta" way of reinforcing the theme. :D
May 10 04:43:00 4h 34m Angle Isle Despite the lack of an interface to explain everything, I found it was still relatively straight-forward figuring everything out the hard way. I was only a couple levels in when I made the connection between the wind and the fruit. The graphical style is very cool and the gameplay is smooth and straightforward.
May 10 05:20:00 37m 00s Obsolescence The music and the atmosphere are incredible. Sending probes out only to have them come back empty when you're running out of resources captures a really great feeling of hopelessness.
May 11 21:27:00 40h 07m Drill It!: Demolition Co. The Game Boy graphical style is very nice. Some death animations to the enemies would have really added to the polish, but otherwise a nice game!
May 12 12:58:00 15h 31m Phobius Collisions have already been mentioned, but I think the mechanic is very fun to play. The mood of this game comes across very well. The moments when the character panics is palpable and adds a lot to the game.
May 13 21:30:00 32h 32m Bottlecolonies I love the visual style, and the puzzle mechanic is simple, but very fun. Great entry all around!
May 13 21:40:00 10m 00s The Collector A way to visually tell once a monster has become weak enough to capture would help. Overall, a very nice game with a good amount of depth.
May 13 23:24:00 1h 44m a little place. I would love to see more levels of this. Fun mechanic!
May 13 23:29:00 5m 00s The Tiny World of Buzz I enjoyed the visuals and flying around dodging the wasps. As others have already said, more levels and a legitimate level select and ending would have been nice.
