Apr 24 15:17:00 Tiny's World I liked it, and the fact that there were quite a few alternative story lines helped. I loved the dialog, it appealed to my sense of humour. <br/> <br/>One thing I can say is for some of the sound effects I got drawn out of the story because they ended abruptly, whereas a smoother transition out for them stopping would prevent that. <br/> <br/>All the best.

Apr 24 15:29:00 10m 00s $ales I quite enjoyed it, though I suck at it (like actually suck), all I managed to do is make all the prices everywhere drop to such low levels that I couldnt make any money :P
Apr 24 15:45:00 16m 00s Tiny World Quite enjoyed it, the dual mechanic was quite different.
Apr 24 15:51:00 6m 00s ResourceCollector I quite enjoyed it, though the controls could have been slightly more intuitive (I feel). I had no crash because I played for 10 or so minutes only.
Apr 24 16:03:00 12m 00s Tiny World I found the menu graphics a bit painful on my eyes, but the rest of the graphics was nice (and well polished too), I think the fact that there was less contrast between the colours in levels that helped. I enjoyed the idea though. <br/> <br/>I can +1 that some of the hit detection seemed a bit punishing for the player, but it wasnt impossible to pull off the jumps needed.
Apr 24 16:12:00 9m 00s The Office I didn't seem to do anything that would cause me to get a different task from the secretary, or that made walking around the office do anything. Maybe I am doing it wrong?
Apr 24 16:20:00 8m 00s Spaceways Win7 x64 - crashed after menu.
Apr 24 16:30:00 10m 00s Weird And Virtual Reality Emulated Hi there, I cant figure out how to run this, any help would be appreciated. <br/> <br/>Traceback (most recent call last): <br/> File "D:\LUDUM DARE 23 REVIEW\New folder\main.py", line 2, in &lt;module&gt; <br/> from map import * <br/> File "D:\LUDUM DARE 23 REVIEW\New folder\map.py", line 2, in &lt;module&gt; <br/> from direct.showbase.ShowBase import ShowBase <br/>ImportError: No module named direct.showbase.ShowBase
Apr 24 16:59:00 29m 00s Anthill I like the idea, though the time length caused me to eventually give up and let the red ants win [why shouldnt I let them win, I am ANT GOD! :3 ], pretty cool idea
Apr 24 17:04:00 5m 00s A Tiny New World the implementation so far was pretty solid, but I like the art style it already has, and it would be cool for you to take the game and complete it.
Apr 24 17:08:00 4m 00s Flyght Cute, and I like the art. The general aesthetic was very pleasing :) would be nice if there were more firing type and the game lasted longer (I only got single fire and double fire). Well done.
Apr 24 17:18:00 10m 00s My Little Planet Top notch game! I really enjoyed playing, the first alien I saw made me go "OMG ALIENS", was pretty awesome overall I think you did an amazing job, well done.
Apr 24 17:24:00 6m 00s Tiny Man I like the concept overall, but I found it impossible to double jump, and when I tried to go big (like I had to to get through the first cave) I got stuck and died. Nicely done.
Apr 24 17:29:00 5m 00s Cereal Prize Astronaut Cant say much for gameplay, but the idea is quite innovative and the graphics and theme are pretty much spot on. <br/> <br/>Would have been nice to see the final product.
Apr 24 17:37:00 8m 00s Path O' Invasion the enemies need some balancing, they are fairly hardcore for when they are first introduced, otherwise an amazing concept. I like the strategic elements.
Apr 24 17:43:00 6m 00s Dude Rescue Quite decent overall, the addition of sound effects could have made the game even better. However it is conceptually sound. <br/> <br/>15 dudes were saved in the making of this play &amp; rate :P
Apr 24 17:55:00 12m 00s Disastronaut I quite liked the premise and the game play, though it got frustrating trying to place some of the items on the asteroid (the on caution blob thing wouldnt go anywhere) and I ended up running out of fuel twice because of that. Otherwise, solid game.
Apr 24 18:01:00 6m 00s Tiny Hack/ Not a bad game, I found it quite overwhelming with the number of enemies, and I struggled to keep them back. I basically died because I couldnt kill fast enough. <br/> <br/>Otherwise I enjoyed it.
Apr 24 18:03:00 2m 00s The Cube Realms If you could help me get it running that would be great, I get the following (Win7, x64): <br/> <br/>java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/LudumDare/Game : Unsupported major.m <br/>inor version 51.0 <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClassCond(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$000(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) <br/>Could not find the main class: com.LudumDare.Game. Apr 24 18:12:00 9m 00s Mage Duel Was really cool, for some reason it seemed to only ever use my first (practice) round play as an enemy, even though for several rounds I milked the self-AI really quickly. <br/> <br/>It is a really cool concept.
Apr 24 18:16:00 4m 00s The Tower of the Four Winds It looked pretty good. I second the library idea. <br/> <br/>I would just like to mention that I couldnt seem to attack (though one enemy did disapear). I hope you end up finishing it at some point :)
Apr 24 18:25:00 9m 00s Big Atoms I liked the idea a lot, and the implementation was sound. I didnt take a look at the editor, but Im sure it must be rather fascinating. All in all, a good job.
May 2 15:48:00 189h 23m Gale Axile I like the style of the game, as well as the idea. It is a really cool interpretation on small worlds. The hunger was a bit confusing, but it makes for a solid mechanic. <br/> <br/>Only ditto from above is really about the music, if it was slightly softer the repetition wouldnt have been as monotonous. <br/> <br/>Good job.
May 2 15:56:00 8m 00s Conquer Pico Worlds I like the game idea, it would be nice if more mechanics were added (perhaps more enemy behaviours at some point) as by the end levels it seemed like it was just about waiting for the correct number of enemies to spawn, and then just having fast enough reactions to get them all before they went evil again. <br/> <br/>Like the idea in general, and enjoyed the game.
May 2 16:13:00 17m 00s Pixel Progression I like the game play, and the ideas you went for. The controls took a bit to get used to (the movement delay felt disjointed to me, the enemies could have moved twice as fast and you could have had half the "move-delay"). Also, after playing for a while you get a big enough area that you can permanently stay safe and kill the enemy pixels, at which point the game stops presenting a challenge. I feel you could spawn quite a few more enemies than you did, and perhaps if you gave less bits as time went on it would help present an end game.
May 3 07:00:00 14h 47m Urth Defense It was a solid entry. I could only get 4 though. I seemed to just lose lives randomly for no reason :/ <br/> <br/>I agree with the thoughts that the screen size is slightly too small, but the music and sound effects were really cool.
May 3 07:12:00 12m 00s llams Cant get it to take input at the start screen, will try again from home later today.
May 3 07:21:00 9m 00s Shattered Universe Also, it would be nice if there was a version without an installer (I saw the zip file had an installer), will have to come back and review this when I get home tonight.
May 3 07:35:00 14m 00s Tinyman's Adventure The music wasnt bad, though it got a bit monotonous after hearing it loop the hundredth time. I like the concept of the puzzle platformer, it would be nice to see you continue work on this and have you add some more mechanics. I only played to the the first level with 2 player objects on because I couldnt seem to get past that level so I gave up for now. Congrats on finishing!
