| Hockey Island | Fantastic! I love how the player's lack of control is what makes it so much fun - it's the complete opposite to the way most games would be designed. | ||
| Gaiadi | This is really good. I'd love to see it expanded further. The combination of an RTS and a shooter is really well done. And the graphics are fantastic! | ||
| Whales of Aelia | I really liked this. It has a wonderfully melancholy feel, a big part of which comes from the (really well-done, and perfectly judged) writing. I think more explicit instruction would probably spoil it. | ||
| Nuclear Test | This is fantastic. My favourite game of the competition. | ||
| Infinite Deadly Islands Of Terror | The graphics are very nice, but the collision detection with the tiles kept tripping me up, because it seems to go by the pirate's shadow rather than his (more noticeable) head.

I really liked the bridges mechanic as a way to change the layout of the map. | ||
| A Practical Survival Guide for Robots | I really like the visuals and the music, but like others have said, the gameplay feels a little slight. Maybe if it were possible to construct a scanner/map from some of the materials? | ||
| Island Hermit Hop! | The music and art are fantastic, and go together really well. I drowned quite a lot though - I clearly wouldn't survive long if I was ever abandoned on a desert island... | ||
| Mauritius | I really liked this, and the dodo story's a great use of the theme. I wouldn't have minded a larger island to try and survive in though. | ||
| Island Assault | Not a bad little platformer, though I found myself getting kind of frustrated trying to get past some of the enemies. I liked the use of water 'platforms' in the last level. | ||
| Hovergirl in Island World | Worked for me, but as you say there's not much of a game there. Graphics are very nice, but I felt the player character didn't quite match the style of the rest of the world. | ||
| Island Shoving | A very clever wee puzzle game. I liked that the controls initially felt a bit counter-intuitive. | ||
| Land Ho! | As others have said, the core mechanic is really neat. It just needs a bit more to do, and see. |
